About: I’ve always loved animals! :) I’ve been dog walking/sitting ever since I started working from home! I have experience with different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, so I know how to adjust care to each dog’s needs. I’m reliable, patient, and attentive to routines, which helps keep pets comfortable and stress-free while their owners are away. I also have experience with both energetic dogs that need lots of playtime and older dogs that require a gentler approach. I also have a Shitzu and bulldog and they are my life! :) I currently work from home and have lots of flexibility within my schedule! This gives me the opportunity to give dogs attention and care throughout the day and night! In my home or a client’s home, I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for by sticking closely to their usual routines. I provide regular walks, playtime, feeding on schedule, and plenty of attention. I also keep water bowls full, follow any special instructions, and make sure pets get the love and care they’re used to.

“Eunice was so great with Mocha. He’s a senior so he needs a little more care and attention and Eunice had a great handle on it. He looked like he had such a great time!”
“Vanessa was super helpful. Cooper is a very energetic puppy. He always gets excited when meeting new people or being in a new environment, and apparently he was excited and didn't nap the entire morning, but Vanessa was very patient in taking care of him and kept me informed throughout the day by sending me the updates and photos. Cooper looked happy when he was with Vanessa and when I picked him up. I'll definitely go back to Vanessa for help in the future.”

“Jessica was great! I had a last min booking with her and she was super flexible with it all. She took great care of my dog and took her on many walks. She sent many photos of my dog playing with her dog and they were the best of friends. Thanks for caring for my pup! Looking forward to the next rebook!”

“Connor was great! Very communicative throughout the stay and made us feel completely at ease. He has a lovely home with a safe backyard, and his dog is wonderful and playful — Nacho had the best time running around and playing all day! We definitely recommend Connor and look forward to booking with him again.”

“Briaan took good care of our little girl. The meet and greet was smooth. Our dog was comfortable with Briaan. She kept us informed during the sitting. She responded fast to the message. Will come back.”

“My puppy had a great day with Isabella. He loves her family right after he arrived. He played in the yard and in the house. He also played with Isabella's dog very well. Isabella sent me plenty of pictures and videos through the day. Her son also spent a good amount of time playing with my puppy. It is very clear that he was taken good care of and he will love to visit Isabella's house again. Isabella's service deserves a five-star.”

“Kayla was an amazing sitter. She was responsive and sent us pictures throughout the day. She even spent extra time and energy to help me fit my dog's huge crate into my car! Would definitely recommend.”

About: I am missing our dog Batman and while I am not ready for a dog of my own yet I would love to take care of yours! I have fenced in backyard your dog can run and play in and will take them for at least 3 walks per day. Making sure your loved one is comfortable is my main goal!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Summit
Millie did a great job taking care of our puppy, Penny. Both daycare visits, Penny came home happy and tired. Millie was able to accommodate a short notice request, which I always appreciate. She communicated throughout the day so we knew how Penny was doing and she was on time for pick up and drop off. We will definitely request her again in the future and highly recommend!!

Geo was wonderful to work with. She is caring, reliable, and very flexible with pickup and drop-off arrangements, which was a huge help when I had a family function to attend. Her positive energy and confidence gave me peace of mind. I highly recommend her and would gladly hire her again.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
