About: I’ve grown up around cats my whole life, but my hands-on experience really deepened in college when I began fostering kittens. Since then, I’ve fostered a total of 9 cats, ranging from very young kittens to more independent cats, all with different personalities and needs. One of my most meaningful experiences was rescuing and raising a stray kitten from just 4 weeks old, which taught me a lot about patience, care, and building trust with animals at such a young age. About: I've had dogs all my life, the most recently i had a awesome miniature poodle who I was fortunate to love and care for 17 years, so I am familiar with the needs of senior dogs. My schedule is fairly open every day after about 9 or ten am. I'd like a regular opportunity, but one offs will be good as well I am available for pet sitting at the clients home, but due to younger kids I can accommodate pets at my home. While I am new to Rover I’m no stranger to pet care, helping take care of my family cat and dog since childhood, with our beloved dog Molly going on 15 years! I have experience caring for foster dogs and cats, including 6 Rottweiler/pug puppies, an adult Rottweiler, about 7 cats, and a mixed breed HoundDog. In addition I’ve both dog and cat sit in house for a handful of neighbors and family friends, so I’m experienced in feedings, walks, and administering medicine. I also have experience handling large dogs including a 70 pound Pitbull/American Bulldog mix, and her sister, who while smaller is a big puller! I’m very comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes, temperaments, and ages, and would love to meet your furry family member !🐾 I’m currently working in part time 1-6 on weekdays, commuting from Maplewood NJ to Harlem NYC. I’m therefore able to do morning or evening walks in the city/MAPSO area, along with overnight stays during the week . My weekends are pretty much completely open to walks anytime of the day along with overnight stays.
