I work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and I am available pretty much every weekend, so I am able to schedule walks all day. I work full-time in NYC Tues-Thurs, but I am usually home in the early afternoons and can be available after 5pm!

I treat everyone's dog as if they are a member of my own family. I follow all guidelines you have in place for your dog for their safety and mine. I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood, which is perfect for a nice walk and I have a fenced-in backyard. I always carry poop bags and a variety of dog treats on me and I am always game to take your dog for a walk rain, shine, or even snow!

Please let me know if your dog has any special behaviors (i.e. dog aggression, leash aggression, strong prey drive) or if they have any special needs (i.e. food allergies, health conditions, medications). I also would love to know your dog's regular routine as they are creatures of habit and I want them to feel as safe and as comfortable as possible. My top priority is that your dog is happy, healthy, and safe.
A typical day
I always like to start my mornings outside if the weather is nice and drink my coffee on the front porch with a dog by my side. The rest of my day with a dog usually involves lots of play time with toys, tons of pets and cuddles, and a nice long walk no matter the weather. I live in a neighborhood with lots of hills, so it is always great exercise. I usually like to end my day snuggled up on the couch with a book with a dog by my side. At bedtime, your dog is welcome to sleep in bed with me if that is what they are used to, or in their own bed or crate if that is what they prefer.

I have owned and cared for dogs for almost my entire life (20+years). For the past 4 years, I have been dog sitting and walking for family, friends, and neighbors on a regular basis and it has been so wonderful. I have experience caring for & walking dogs of all shapes and sizes and needs.
