Hello my name is Shabazz (rhymes with Jazz)! I’m a huge lover of theatre, physical fitness, cats, and dogs! I grew up with both a dog and cat, and now I'm a step-doggy-dad to a beautiful golden doodle. I travel often for work (professional actor and theatre educator), and serve the communities I’m located in. I am based in both Colorado Springs, Colorado and Summit, New Jersey. I’m eager, excited, and more than ready to assist! I’m available to spend ample time ensuring your pet is not only walked but cared for. I’m capable of multiple visits during the day and can provide excellent feedback, pictures, and video of your pets. We can go for long walks getting both exercise and fresh sunshine, even in the winter months. I’m especially available for those cold days when your pets need a drop in visit and scritches for warmth. I've also experience with senior pets who need a little extra TLC, including administering insulin injections and changing diapers. I look forward to meeting and hearing all about your animals!

Safety, trust & environment
I do my absolute best to provide safe and comfortable service in your home. I try not to leave a footprint, notify you when I'm entering and leaving the location, and provide photographic updates about your pet. When walking, I'm remain attentive, prepared with supplies and vigilant for other persons and fur friends we may encounter. I make it my duty to be sure your pet is both comfortable and enjoying themselves.

Shabazz was absolutely wonderful taking care of our cat while we were away! He was extremely reliable, followed all feeding and care instructions, and sent the cutest photo updates and detailed notes during every visit. Shabazz went above and beyond and i could tell my kitty was a happy kitty. I definitely recommend him and will book again!

When we were looking for a dog walker and met Shabazz in-person we immediately knew he would be a perfect fit for our puppy. There are some people who are just *good* with dogs and Shabazz is one of them. Shabazz worked with our puppy for a few months and we have nothing but good things to say about him. He is compassionate, responsible, and flexible. At one point he volunteered to swing by our place for an emergency (pup decided to literally eat his entire plastic bed) when I couldn't get home - showing just how caring and dependable he is. Our puppy LOVED Shabazz and he quickly became one of his best friends (I know because when we say his name he gets very excited). I will definitely be working with Shabazz again when our schedules align. You won't regret choosing him to care for your furry family member.

Schedule
I work primarily remotely, thus I'm very flexible. I'm an early riser and can provide those sunrise walks and can also be free for early evening. As a performer, I do travel out of state for a few months, but always keep my calendar up to date and provide ample notice when I'll be out of town.
