About: I love animals, most of the time I'd rather interact and show compassion towards pets over people. Growing up we had SIX indoor cats while also caring for a feral cat colony in our backyard. Very familiar with all aspects of pet care, I have volunteered at a couple local shelters such as HAAL & Tabby's Place. My father's family used to train and show German Shepherds, so while I've never owned my own dog I am very comfortable caring for and walking pups. I'm an athletic male with the strength to safely walk bigger, stronger dogs. In another life I would have dedicated myself to becoming an actual veterinarian. Weekends are scheduled but still open enough to take on a couple commitments. I follow all feeding, medication, and exercise routines precisely, secure doors and gates to prevent escapes, and monitor pets for any signs of stress or discomfort. Hygiene is a top priority—I sanitize hands and equipment between visits to prevent cross-contamination. Whether in my home or yours, my goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners."

About: When you love dogs or cats that love will always be with you whether you're caring for your own pets or someone else's. I believe pets should be treated with love and a concern for their comfort, happiness and well-being. After owning a retail business for many years and then working for a major national bank, it was time for a change. Why not do something that involves my love for pets? Dog walking was the answer. For the past nine years I've been delivering dog walking services to pet owners ensuring strict supervision of pets during walks while providing a safe and nurturing environment for dogs with different needs, temperaments and medical conditions. Most importantly, you can rest assured that the safety, security and well-being of your dog will always be my number one priority. What makes me different is that your dog is walked by one consistent walker--me. There's no rotating cast of walkers and no wondering who is coming to your home. I get to know your dog's personality, routine, and individual needs, while you always know exactly who is caring for your pet. And I love keeping owners in the loop! I regularly send photos from our walks, and one of my favorite things is hearing from owners about how much they enjoy seeing their dogs having fun. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your dog and become someone you can count on. I'm available for dog walking and drop-in visits for dogs or cats, Monday through Friday between 8 am & 4 pm. I’m not usually available on weekends, however, if you’re in a bind and need a walk or a visit on a Saturday or a Sunday, and I have no plans that weekend, I most likely will be able to do it as long as it’s no later than 12 pm. For your dog's safety, dogs are prolific sniffers, inevitably putting things in their mouths that they shouldn't. I pay close attention to and keep a watchful eye on the ground to make sure your dog doesn't put anything in its mouth that can be harmful. In the unlikely event your dog or cat needs medical attention, I’m certified in cat and dog first aid by the American Red Cross.
