About: Pets have always been part of my life. I've had dogs, cats, goldfish, betta fish, hamsters, bunnies, and chinchillas. Currently in my care are the adorable bunny brother-and-sister duo I call the Wonder Twins, a senior Staffie mix who doesn’t like going down the shore so we’re weekend buddies, and Sassafrass, the “fraidy" cat. Each of these animals has its own rhythm and needs, and I've learned to pay close attention to what makes each one comfortable, whether that's a quiet room, a clean habitat, or a gentle, familiar routine. Since I'm retired, my days have a lot of natural flexibility built in. I can offer morning, midday, and evening visits throughout the week, not just squeezed-in slots around a nine-to-five. Pet care isn't something I fit around my life. It's become one of the things I structure my life around, alongside my own dog, Mojo. All of my care happens in your home, not mine. I come to you for dog walks and feeding visits, so your pet stays in their own familiar space with their own food, bed, and routine. For dogs, that means a walk at their pace around your neighborhood. For cats and smaller pets, it means fresh food and water, litter box or habitat cleaning, and some quiet one-on-one attention. At this time, I don't board pets in my own home. Keeping care in your space is part of what keeps things low-stress for your pet and simple for you.

About: I have always been involved in pet care in my home for over 15 years. I have had experience with elderly dogs and cats of my own. I have pet-sitted in my neighborhood for puppies and for breeds different from my own dogs. I will use my energy to play with your pet and hopefully decrease their energy. I have a very flexible schedule since graduating college and applying to graduate school nearby. I have lots of time and availability for stop-ins during the day or bringing study materials to a client’s home. My yard is fenced in and I can take dogs for a walk in Brookdale Park nearby. I will administer medicine and play with dogs and provide them with a cuddly environment.

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs, learning to love each breed uniquely. Our pets truly become part of the family and we must treat them as such! I have experience in potty training, crate training and teaching tricks! I am available for daily walks, days and nights. I am available for boarding Monday - Sunday. I am also available on holidays, please just let me know in advance. My dog, Arlo, is a super friendly Mini Aussie who will also keep your pup company. A fenced dog park is available nearby for them to play and run. I will follow feeding, potty, and medication instructions accordingly.

About: I understand how important it is to have someone reliable and patient looking after your pets, and I always try to give them lots of attention, affection, and exercise based on their individual needs. I currently offer drop-in visits, evening house sitting, and walks. I know every pet has their own personality, so I always do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I also have a senior dog of my own who has a special diet and is partially blind, so I understand the extra patience and attention some pets may need. During walks, I keep her close to me, help guide her safely up and down stairs, and carry her when needed. I also administer her eye drops daily and make sure she stays comfortable and relaxed. Caring for her has taught me how important gentle, attentive care is, especially for senior pets or pets with special needs. I have a fairly flexible schedule! I’m currently available weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as full availability on weekends for Over night House sitting, drop in visits for both cats and dogs, and dog walking! Visits include feedings, fresh water, potty breaks, walks and playtime! I’m happy to help keep up with your pet’s normal routine so they feel safe and relaxed in their own home. For walks, I focus on making sure your dog has a safe and fun outing.

About: I grew up with 3 Shiba Inus for close to 17 years and now have 2 cats of my own, Pepper Jack and Colbie Jacqueline. I have extensive experience with special needs dogs as my Shibas had varying disabilities ranging from mobility related to medication needing and eventually to doggy dementia. For around 4 years I worked at a high end pet resort/daycare. Though my main responsibility was taking photographs of the pets, I would assist with walking, grooming, and monitoring activities. While there, I had experience with animals of all ages. I continue to do freelance pet photography. As a recent MFA graduate, I am currently splitting my time between teaching classes/events at a ceramics studio and working within my own art studio. As my schedule varies and is very moveable, I can make myself available for you and your pets! When I come into your home, I will have the utmost care and respect for both the space itself and for your pets’ comfortability as a guest in their safe space.

From energetic puppies who need patience and structure, to adolescent dogs learning good habits, to our sweet senior dogs who benefit from a slower pace and extra attention. I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and quirks so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. As a high school teacher, I'm patient, responsible, and highly communicative. I'll treat your pet like a member of my own family and am happy to keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. I'm a teacher on summer break with flexible hours. I understand our furry friends don't always live by the same schedule we do, and am happy to provide them with the midday walks/socialization they need so you can come home to a happy pet. I'm happy to provide care in your home, secure yard, or neighborhood where your pet is most comfortable. Care in my home involves comfy couch access, walks on streets with sidewalks, and plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. I strive to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. Safety is my top priority, so I always use secure leashes and harnesses during walks, closely supervise outdoor time, and make sure pets have a calm, clean, and comfortable environment. Upon request, I am happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.
