“This was my first time using Rover or any dog walking service, let alone have anyone aside from myself, dad, or brother take care of my pup. And I have ZERO regrets. My dad was supposed to stay with my dog for the long weekend I was away, but last minute he couldn’t and I needed a plan B. I came to Rover to see if I could find a solution and I did- Peter! My pup is very lovable but also not easy, and many are too scared or just don’t want to deal with him. Because of that, I wanted to do a meet and greet first, which Peter happily agreed to. After just one visit, I knew that not only could he handle my dog and he would be well-taken care of, but knew they both were about to become buds. I was able to go away and not have any worries, especially since Peter gave very thorough recaps of his visits and pictures. Needless to say, my heart and mind were put at ease and I can’t think him enough for that. I will definitely be utilizing his services in the future and I know Thor will not mind at all.”

About: I absolutely love caring for animals. I used to be a receptionist at a vet clinic and love meeting new pets. I am a dog owner myself, which has allowed me to learn more about dogs and their individual needs. I have experience administering oral medications. I have also learned to figure out if something is wrong, or if they need medical care. I will make sure to care for your pet as if it was my own. I know it’s hard leaving our pets so please let me know what I can do to make it as comfortable as possible for you and your pet. I recently moved to New Jersey and I’m currently unemployed. I am a mom to a toddler, and I’m unable to do any long term overnight stays, but may make an exception if it’s only a day. I can feed your pet, administer medication, take them on walks or just simply hang out so they are not lonely while you are gone.

About: Hey there! My wife (Sam) and I (Jen) are an animal-loving couple, and looking for a new way to spend our afternoons with some furry friends. Our days can be pretty flexible as Sam and I both work from home, and we thought what better way to earn a little extra cash while doing something we're both passionate about! We both have a decent amount of experience caring for both dogs and cats! Pablo (9 years) and Boots (8 years) are our two ever-loving boy cats that we adore a little too much. Sam and I grew up with dogs, and also frequently dog sit for our neighbors and friends. We'd love to have the opportunity to meet your fur baby and care for them! :) Sam and I work from home, so our schedules are pretty flexible! We’re able to take multiple breaks for playtime, walks, cuddles, feeding, etc. We love having furry company while we work - it’s a win/win! We are very attentive and to our boys’ needs at home and we’ll always bring that level of attention and care to every pet we look after. Whether it comes to strategically placing a sunny perch for their lazy afternoon lounging, to buying them a new set of toys because they get ruined every couple of months, their comfort, happiness and safety is our priority. I have a small fenced back area for your pet to enjoy. I live in a townhome that is spacious and comfortable for a pet to be boarded. I work for from home so I have plenty of time to care for pets. On Thursdays and Fridays, I work part-time and am home by early afternoon, so I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and evening care. I prioritize safety, trust, and clear communication above everything. I follow each pet’s routine closely and take the time to understand their individual needs, behaviors, and comfort levels. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time, as well as a very friendly Shihpoo who is used to being around other dogs. I always supervise interactions and make sure every dog feels comfortable and secure. I also have a pet camera at home for added monitoring, and a baby gate if a dog feels more comfortable in a smaller, more confined space. I’m especially mindful with more anxious dogs, as I have one of my own, so I understand the importance of patience and creating a calm, safe environment.

My dog and I are an active agility and therapy dog team, and by trade I am a behavior analyst. I'm always giving advice to friends and family on dog behavior, how to improve their relationship with their pup, and what to keep an eye out for! I tend to be the first person they call when they feel confused about a situation with their pup, or how to navigate it best. I've cared for many dogs throughout my life, and have experience with small dogs, herding breeds, and working dogs. I love being active with dogs and making sure they are having FUN! I try to do things with them that they personally enjoy, and tailor it to each dog I meet. I have treats and toys to play with, as well as experience with dogs that pull on the leash- no worries! I’m flexible and can work around your schedule as well; just let me know. If you want socialization with your dog, my Samoyed is always welcome to making new friends! Whatever your needs are, they can be met FOR HOUSE SITTING: I offer house sitting services for stays of 3 days max as I have my own dog to take care of! I currently do NOT do dog boarding unfortunately I may be starting a new job soon, so requests may be difficult to accommodate depending on the service and duration. Otherwise I am available 8am-3pm! I can do 2 overnight stays max as I have my own dog to care for :) Before accepting a drop-in service, I will ask to do a meet-and-greet with your dog so they become familiar with me and are not alarmed when I appear at their doorstep. It's also a great time for us to chat to see if we'd be a good fit! For all services, I do request a quick questionnaire or conversation to discuss briefly who your dog is, their personality, likes and dislikes, and anything I need to be aware of to ensure they are happy and safe in my care. It is important to set our animals up for success and positive experiences and I believe communication is the first step. I will also be available on the Rover app or my personal cell for any questions or concerns you may have. As an anxious pet parent myself, I'll be sure to ask how often you'd like to receive updates, and update you accordingly.

Since then, she has cared for many dogs and cats and gained hands-on experience with walking, feeding, bathing, and daily pet care. Her father is a veterinarian, so she grew up learning from him how to understand animals and care for them safely and attentively. Hojin is the primary caregiver and is available on both weekdays and weekends. He is an active and attentive dog dad who enjoys walks, playtime, and making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved. Lisa joins him on weekends, giving your pet even more companionship and affection. We currently share our home with Bacon, our sweet six-year-old neutered Corgi. We understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. Whether your dog stays with us for daycare or boarding, or joins us for a walk, we’ll care for them with patience, attention, exercise, and lots of love—just as we do for Bacon. Hojin is available for pet care throughout the week, including both weekdays and weekends, so he can provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and potty breaks. Lisa helps care for our guests on weekends, providing additional companionship and affection. We can adjust our routine to match your dog’s usual feeding, walking, sleeping, and potty schedule as closely as possible. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always our top priorities. We share our home with Bacon, our friendly six-year-old neutered Corgi. We introduce dogs carefully, supervise their interactions, and provide separate spaces or feeding areas when needed. We follow each owner’s instructions regarding meals, walks, medication, potty breaks, and sleeping arrangements. We do not routinely confine dogs in a crate, but we can follow your dog’s established crate routine if requested. We will also keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can feel comfortable while you’re away.

About: I have had dogs since I was 8 years old, from Standard Poodle’s, to Shih tzu’s, to Boxer/Bulldogs! I have tons of experience with pups of all sizes. At the moment, I have to amazing dogsLouie and Lennon. Louie is a Retriever/Setter mix and Lennon and is Coonhound, both rescues. I have had Louie from 8 weeks old and am a pro with puppies and older dogs alike. Before my two loves, I had a Boxer/Bulldog mix Hudson. She was the epitome of a “gentle giant”. I know it sounds cliche, but large of small, I really do love every single one of them! I am currently working Freelance and am able to adjust my schedule as needed to provide the best care for your pups. I also love to run and love to friends come with me! I have a fenced in yard and two super friendly pups at home. If needed I can use a crate for your (or my!) pups if needed. Whatever matches the level of care they receive at home.
