“Andrea took such great care of my puppy! She followed all instructions, did some basic training with her and played with her! She has great communication with me and flexible scheduling which is amazing especially having a young puppy !”

About: Hi! I’m currently in my second semester of vet tech school and work part-time at a dog daycare/boarding facility. I also have a 3 y/o cat of my own, so I am experienced with both cats and dogs. I’ve learned lots about animal behavior and pet safety and love spending time with any animals! Additionally, I have my Cat and Dog First Aid certification from the American Red Cross. I currently work 4-5 six hour shifts at a dog daycare are, so I have lots of time to drop in before/after work. My current classes are online, so my schedule is very flexible! I have experience pet sitting and walking dogs of various temperaments. My experience with working large groups of dogs and 1-on-1 makes me confident in my ability to keep all animals safe!
About: My heart goes out to every pet owner, as I have recently lost my childhood companion in June 2025. I am looking forward to taking care of your pets. I am taking a semester off this spring so I will be fully available besides sundays starting January 23rd 2026. I will have this availability as of now until September 2026 Based on the pet I am taking care of, I can best accommodate with the pet if I know their behaviors, triggers, their favorite things to do, etc. I’d treat every pet as my own, making sure they get their daily walks in, set a time for when to eat, make sure they do eat, set some time aside to possibly play depending on the dog, cleanliness is also key.
“Kat took care of my K-9 Aqua who is a explosive detection canine (bomb dog) I needed to feel 100% confident for the care of my K-9 and Kat delivered. Kat gave the best care I could ask for. Kat was so professional and really took excellent care of Aqua. Very punctual and gave Aqua the extra care and love that she deserves. Kat takes her job very seriously and it shows in her performance . I am very pleased that I now have a professional taking care of my canine. I can now travel and not have to worry. Thanks so much to Kat and her family for making my life easier. Robert”

I work from home so I take him on a long walk every day at noon and then he hangs out in the yard while I work or naps on my couch. I also live in a two family home so they have plenty a room to play inside as well

“Grace and her husband are simply amazing! They took care of my two cats like they were their own. I was out of the country for 6 weeks and my trip kept getting extended but Grace was very flexible and patient when it came to needing to book her for longer. They both went above and beyond and I will definitely be booking them again.”

“Best pet service!! I’m truly happy I found Diane and was able to have her taken care of my two kitties while I was gone for vacation. About: I have cared for pets, both my own and the pets of others, my whole life. I make sure pets feel safe, I follow their cues, and love to play. I’ve cared for both puppies and senior dogs, I’ve given medication, and know how to properly support when lifting a dog so as not to hurt them. I have cared for scared dogs who need gentleness, and sick dogs who need comfort. I believe in positive reinforcement and though can say “no!” with authority, I am against any physical punishments. I have de-escalated the advances of scared and angry dogs. And my pockets are always full of treats. I currently have a wide open schedule except for when I’m dropping my human child at school and picking up again at the end of the day. I would love to fill that time in between with playing with doggos and kitties. I am my dog’s mom, best friend, and humble servant. I have slept in the guest room with her when she’s sick, I’ve been her personal body pillow when she wants super close snuggles and forgets shes enormous and lies fully on top of me like a very wiggly weighted blanket. I have been her protector when another dog scares her and she needs to use my body as a shield. She doesn’t like the way her dad or human brother open the back door, so she feels confident in coming to wake me up despite other humans who could do her bidding. And I comply because I love her and I would do the same for any other pet in my care.

About: I’m a medical student so I am home studying most of the time. I grew up with small and medium family dogs and have fostered a cat and three kittens in the past. I love taking care of animals! During the weekdays, I am available evenings and overnights. I am available the entire weekend as well. I would just need to know about your booking in advance to prepare myself. My apartment is very spacious and I live in a dog walking friendly community. There is plenty of space for your pet and their supplies. If your pet likes to play or be cuddled, that’s what we’ll do. If they would rather be left alone, I’ll care for them from a distance too!
About: I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes and breeds, from playful small pups to large, energetic dogs. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters walking and caring for dogs, so I’m confident, reliable, and passionate about giving pets the care they deserve. I’m currently home from college and have a flexible schedule! Feel free to reach out—I’d love to find a time that works best for you and your pup. I stick to your dogs routine, follow any care instructions closely, and always give them plenty of attention, playtime, and walks. I also make sure to keep your home clean and secure while you’re away!
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for years through family and friends, and I’m always the person they trust to watch their pets. I genuinely love animals, and dogs tend to feel comfortable with me very quickly. I have experience with small and medium-sized dogs, and I’m comfortable adapting to different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’m especially patient with more anxious or sensitive dogs. I have an anxious dog of my own, which has taught me how to read body language, build trust, and create a calm, safe environment. I’m very attentive and detail-oriented, so I always follow care instructions closely, whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, or specific routines. I can also help reinforce basic training like leash manners and structure during walks. My goal is to make every dog feel cared for, understood, and happy while giving owners complete peace of mind. I treat every dog like my own and always keep communication open and consistent. I’m available Thursday through Sunday, with the most flexibility on weekends. On Thursdays and Fridays, I work part-time and am home by early afternoon, so I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and evening care. I prioritize safety, trust, and clear communication above everything. I follow each pet’s routine closely and take the time to understand their individual needs, behaviors, and comfort levels. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time, as well as a very friendly Shihpoo who is used to being around other dogs. I always supervise interactions and make sure every dog feels comfortable and secure. I also have a pet camera at home for added monitoring, and a baby gate if a dog feels more comfortable in a smaller, more confined space. I’m especially mindful with more anxious dogs, as I have one of my own, so I understand the importance of patience and creating a calm, safe environment.
“Claudia was great! Communicated with me the entire tire and was very patient when we had issues with our remote door lock system. Would recommend and happily use her services again.”

About: I’m a very patient and understanding individual, especially with dogs who may need extra time to feel comfortable. We have a rescue dog with a difficult past who doesn’t always feel safe in new environments or around unfamiliar people or dogs, so we truly understand how important it is to find the right fit. That’s actually what inspired me to start Rover, to provide a safe and secure space for dogs like her. I have experience as a dog foster with rescue dogs and those who may be a bit nervous or shy. I have a separate floor in my home where your dog can have a quiet space to decompress and feel comfortable during their stay. Because my dog is territorial and does not get along with other dogs, I will keep her completely separated from your dog. Also have a nice fenced in yard where they can around and play. I would love the opportunity to watch and care for your furry family member :) I work from home full-time in IT, so I’m around all day to keep your dog company. They’ll get enough attention, potty breaks, and won’t be left alone for long periods I have a fully fenced yard with plenty of space for your dog to run and play. Inside, I have a finished basement with windows where they can relax and keep me company. This setup allows me to comfortably separate your dog from my dog and kid , ensuring a safe and stress-free environment.
Passaic dog parents share their Rover experiences
Oscar might love Pete more than he loves us! He was THRILLED to go over there and spend some time with his best friends. I love that Pete gives us such detailed recaps and pictures - it helps put our minds at ease, and we're always thrilled to see and read how unbelievably happy Oscar is while we're out. He came home exhausted; he tried so hard to keep the party going, but fell asleep very quickly and was out for the night. Thank you so much again, Pete!!
We had a great experience with the pet care service for our dog, Cola! Jinghong was very patient and caring with her, especially since Cola is an older dog and needs extra attention. We really appreciated the regular visits, feeding support, walks, and overall communication. It gave us peace of mind while we were away. Thank you for taking such good care of Cola — we truly appreciate it!
I can’t say enough great things about Ashley ! From the very first meet-and-greet, it was clear how kind, reliable, and genuinely passionate she is about animals. She took the time to understand my dog’s personality, routine, and needs, which immediately put me at ease. While at work I received photos, and little notes that reassured me my dog was not only safe, but happy and well cared for. It truly felt like my dog was being treated like family, not just a booking. When I come home from work, my dog is relaxed, content, and clearly has formed a bond with Ashley - which says everything. It’s not easy trusting someone with your pet ! If you’re looking for someone dependable, communicative, and full of love for your pet, I highly recommend Ashley !

Truly professional! Anastasiia and Ivan are absolutely amazing at what they do. This was my first time leaving Bella for longer than usual, and I’ll admit I was a bit nervous about having her stay at home with people she didn’t know. But after seeing their incredible reviews, I decided to trust them — and I’m so glad I did. They exceeded every expectation. They were detailed, followed all instructions perfectly, and most importantly, their communication was outstanding. They kept me updated on everything and always asked questions before making any decisions. They made me feel completely comfortable, and Bella was genuinely happy with them. One moment that really stood out: on their first day, after we had already left, Bella was feeling uneasy when they walked in. Ivan sat on the floor near her and patiently waited for her to approach him, creating a calm and safe environment for her. That level of care and understanding meant so much. They showed real affection and truly cared about Bella’s wellbeing. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, caring, and professional sitters for their furry family members.

While I was away, Tania took amazing care of my Doberman and Chihuahua. She was incredibly informative, kept me in the loop the entire time, and made being away from my dogs so much easier. She sent updates with pictures and videos, which was not only helpful but also super cute and reassuring. Both of my dogs were comfortable and clearly well cared for I could tell they were happy and relaxed with her. Tania treated them like her own and handled them with so much patience and love. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and will definitely be reaching out to her again!
