About: I was a proud dog mom for over 20 years. While my beloved pups have since crossed the rainbow bridge, my love for dogs has never faded. I enjoy spending time with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I understand the importance of providing them with patience, attention, and care. I would love the opportunity to treat your furry family member as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with pets. I enjoy being active and spending time with animals, so caring for them is something I genuinely look forward to each day. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I always follow the owner’s instructions and respect each pet’s unique personality, routine, and boundaries. I believe patience and consistency are important in building trust. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. Whether that means playtime, belly rubs (if they’re willing!), companionship, or long walks when weather and the pet’s needs allow, I will provide attentive care and treat them as if they were my own.
“Xunzi did a great job! She kept us updated during her visit with our cats and sent a lot of pictures. I would definitely recommend Xunzi for your cats.. Thank you Xunzi.”

About: I’m big on personalized, one-on-one care and giving each pet the attention they deserve. I’m very attentive, detail-oriented, and observant of body language, so I try to understand each pet’s comfort level, energy, and routine rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. As a dog owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. Because my work is contract-based, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time during the week for pet care. I love animals, and as a dog parent myself, I’ve kept my availability open during times I know are especially helpful for other pet parents. I’ve built walks and drop-in visits into my routine and like to keep my schedule manageable so I can be reliable, attentive, and fully present with each pet. I know how important trust is when someone is coming into your home and caring for your pet. I’m respectful of your space, attentive to instructions, and very mindful of a pet’s body language and comfort level. I aim to provide thoughtful, reliable care so your pet feels safe and well looked after in their familiar environment. Happy to offer a free meet and greet beforehand so you and your pet can feel comfortable and see if it’s a good fit.
“Melanie came by for a visit just to get to know my kitty, Jinjin before I go away for a week. Melanie was great and was able to get Jinjin out of hiding which was awesome and very reassuring. I highly recommend her!”

“Gordon is always great with Asher! He is also really good at communicating and Gordon also makes sure I get some fun pictures of Asher when they are hanging out together. Recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I have two pets of my own, a cat and a dog. I know the needs to take care of both of them and would find it easier to handle yours. Worked at a pet hotel for a couple weeks and dealt with a variety of dogs (even cats) and know that each pet can be different and I'm ready to accustomed to your pet to ensure they feel comfortable and safe! I currently work at a nightshift so I would prefer to work during the evening. Depending on my schedule I would be able to work nightshifts on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Wednesdays. My dog is very playful and would enjoy having a bit of fun with yours! My cat is shy to newcomers so it might not interact with your pet.
“So happy we found Baris! He is really good with my 77lb dog and sent a lot of updates which was perfect for me! He took my dog for a walk and made sure he followed my instructions to the T!”

I regularly take my Doberman, Claddagh on runs and help care for my sister’s dog, so I’m confident handling both large and energetic breeds. I’ve also cared for a rescued litter of kittens and have experience with cats of different personalities and temperaments. I understand that every pet is unique, and I always strive to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or a slower-paced routine, I’ll provide dependable care tailored to their needs. About: ***I recently lost my soul dog, Ace ,of 17 years, so currently there are no other animals in my home. Please note: I go by Liora as a nickname in my day to day, but Emma is my legal name, hence why you’ll see both names in the reviews. I have always been an avid animal lover, but dogs are my favorite! In middle school I would go around door to door asking my neighbors that had dogs if I could walk them, in high school and college I would volunteer at animals shelters every weekend. I recently lost my soul dog of 17 years, Ace. I had him since he was 8 weeks old, and trained him with all the commands as well as potty training. I miss him dearly, but that being said - I can handle taking care of puppies, adults, and senior dogs alike, and am comfortable administering medication when needed. I work from home, so your pet will always have a buddy throughout the day and human interaction, and will rarely be alone. Evening and weekends will be reserved for parks and lots of play time! I have a small back yard space and a few great parks nearby just a few minutes away from my apartment. I can also crate your dog if needed / if they prefer. I also have cameras set up at home should I need to step out, they will always be monitored.
“Nicole was great! She spent time with my cat, followed all instructions, kept me updated and checked in if she was able to drop in earlier. Would absolutely book again!”

“Melissa was great with our cat Luna. She followed our care instructions perfectly and provided us with daily updates. She even stayed extra long each visit! We'd definitely hire Melissa again in the future.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I have rescued my dogs while traveling through South America since 2022 and have been taking care of them. The old one is 5 yrs old and the second one is 2yrs old. I work remotely so I spend all day with my dogs except for when I have to run errands. This is why I can fit drop visits and walks throughout the day since I work from home. I have a fenced backyard if dogs need to play outside but also if they need to stay in a crate I can help with that. I have experience with walking small- large dogs.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Carlstadt
Oscar might love Pete more than he loves us! He was THRILLED to go over there and spend some time with his best friends. I love that Pete gives us such detailed recaps and pictures - it helps put our minds at ease, and we're always thrilled to see and read how unbelievably happy Oscar is while we're out. He came home exhausted; he tried so hard to keep the party going, but fell asleep very quickly and was out for the night. Thank you so much again, Pete!!
We had a great experience with the pet care service for our dog, Cola! Jinghong was very patient and caring with her, especially since Cola is an older dog and needs extra attention. We really appreciated the regular visits, feeding support, walks, and overall communication. It gave us peace of mind while we were away. Thank you for taking such good care of Cola — we truly appreciate it!
I cannot recommend Maxibel enough! She has been absolutely amazing with my dog!! She is so kind, caring, and attentive. My dog genuinely gets excited to see her, which gives me so much peace of mind whenever I’m away. She is always punctual, responsible, and incredibly reliable. One thing I especially appreciate is how consistent she is with updates and photos, which always reassures me that my dog is happy and well cared for. It’s clear she truly loves what she does and treats every pet like her own. I’m so grateful we found her!

Honest feedback here - I was a little hesitant in using Xavier as he was young without too many years of experience, but I was in a bind and my last two sitters flaked - I saw that he was rated as a star sitter though with great reviews, so moved forward here and I am so glad I did. His communication skills are above the charts. He is extremely responsive, communicates very well (seems to truly care about your pets and their needs) and was always great about texting updates and photos - Too boot, he was extremely accommodating as the drive was a bit far, but he knew I was in a bind and took the job without hesitation - Moreover, he was very punctual and came at the times I needed him too. I can't tell you how nice it was to come home after my trip to a home where it was very easy to see my babies were well looked after and taken care of - Lastly, he has very good energy and I felt good leaving my babies in his hands even though was a stranger -

Truly professional! Anastasiia and Ivan are absolutely amazing at what they do. This was my first time leaving Bella for longer than usual, and I’ll admit I was a bit nervous about having her stay at home with people she didn’t know. But after seeing their incredible reviews, I decided to trust them — and I’m so glad I did. They exceeded every expectation. They were detailed, followed all instructions perfectly, and most importantly, their communication was outstanding. They kept me updated on everything and always asked questions before making any decisions. They made me feel completely comfortable, and Bella was genuinely happy with them. One moment that really stood out: on their first day, after we had already left, Bella was feeling uneasy when they walked in. Ivan sat on the floor near her and patiently waited for her to approach him, creating a calm and safe environment for her. That level of care and understanding meant so much. They showed real affection and truly cared about Bella’s wellbeing. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, caring, and professional sitters for their furry family members.

While I was away, Tania took amazing care of my Doberman and Chihuahua. She was incredibly informative, kept me in the loop the entire time, and made being away from my dogs so much easier. She sent updates with pictures and videos, which was not only helpful but also super cute and reassuring. Both of my dogs were comfortable and clearly well cared for I could tell they were happy and relaxed with her. Tania treated them like her own and handled them with so much patience and love. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and will definitely be reaching out to her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
