About: I had a maltipoo who I cared for for 13 years so I am confident in caring for pups like her. I’ve also had to dog-sit some friends’ dogs who’d I bring for walks, play in the yard, and fill food and water bowls for them while gone! I generally work 3 days a week so I am looking to care and walk dogs for a couple other days during my week to fill my days. I will make sure to close all doors that I have entered and make sure the dog is back in the house before leaving. I will make sure I put everything back to where they were and fill any bowls that I am instructed to make sure the dogs are comfortable until their owners or next person comes to see them!
“Maryann took great care of Bailey. He loved getting all the pets and love from her every visit. She followed my instructions very well and my house was not a mess when I got home. I will definitely book her again!”

“Michelle has been fantastic. My dog is a rescue and often takes a bit of time to warm up to new people. Michelle was so patient with him and continues to provide the highest level of care for him. Michelle is very responsive and always communicates before and after the visit. I’d highly recommend Michelle to help care for your pets!”

About: I have had dogs all my life. I have experience with taking care of neighbors and friends pets when they are out of town or just need help. Have trained my dog from a puppy to the wonderful pup she is now. I am very attentive and love to play with pups! I am working a full time job. On the weekends I am open all day if they need constant care. During the week, I am available before 8:30 am and after 5 pm. I have a yard for the pup to play around in, but not fenced in. I do own a long leash if they like to prance around. I live in a very safe, walkable neighborhood- able to get them lots of exercise. No pets live in my home.

“Grace and her husband are simply amazing! They took care of my two cats like they were their own. I was out of the country for 6 weeks and my trip kept getting extended but Grace was very flexible and patient when it came to needing to book her for longer. They both went above and beyond and I will definitely be booking them again.”

“Honest feedback here - I was a little hesitant in using Xavier as he was young without too many years of experience, but I was in a bind and my last two sitters flaked - I saw that he was rated as a star sitter though with great reviews, so moved forward here and I am so glad I did. His communication skills are above the charts. He is extremely responsive, communicates very well (seems to truly care about your pets and their needs) and was always great about texting updates and photos - Too boot, he was extremely accommodating as the drive was a bit far, but he knew I was in a bind and took the job without hesitation - Moreover, he was very punctual and came at the times I needed him too. I can't tell you how nice it was to come home after my trip to a home where it was very easy to see my babies were well looked after and taken care of - Lastly, he has very good energy and I felt good leaving my babies in his hands even though was a stranger -”

About: 🐾 What Sets Me Apart I offer something most sitters can’t—true flexibility and consistent availability. I’m available evenings and weekends now, and once summer hits, I’m fully available every day, giving your pup reliable care without gaps or last-minute changes. I love building real connections with dogs, not just quick visits. Whether it’s a high-energy walk, playtime, or just keeping your dog company, I make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for like they’re my own. I’m dependable, patient, and detail-oriented—so you can trust that your dog’s routine, safety, and happiness always come first. I’m also happy to meet ahead of time so you and your pup feel completely comfortable. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I’m available for walks and visits during evenings and weekends right now, and I make sure to plan my schedule so each dog gets my full attention and care. During the summer, my routine becomes completely open, which allows me to provide consistent, flexible care throughout the day—whether that’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or longer visits. I enjoy staying active, so dog walking and spending time with pets is something I genuinely look forward to and prioritize in my day. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where pets feel right at home. In my apartment complex, we have access to a dog park, which is perfect for exercise, playtime, and socialization (if your dog enjoys being around others). I also have a very friendly and playful dog who loves the company of other dogs, which can be great for pets who enjoy having a buddy to play with. Inside my home, I keep a calm and structured space where pets can relax, stick to their routine, and feel secure. I make sure they get plenty of attention, play, and affection—while also respecting their individual needs and energy levels. Whether your dog loves being active or prefers to lounge, I adjust to what makes them happiest. I prioritize safety at all times, keep a close eye on all pets, follow feeding schedules, and carefully stick to any specific instructions you provide. Cleanliness, consistency, and communication are very important to me, so you’ll always feel confident your pet is in good hands.
“Emily was absolutely wonderful with Brady! She was reliable, caring, and truly went above and beyond while watching him. She provided thoughtful updates and photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. It was clear Brady was happy, comfortable, and genuinely well cared for the entire time. Knowing he was treated with so much love and attention made all the difference. I highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and professional pet sitter.”
“Lillian did a great job for my cat. She uploaded a lot of videos while she was taking care of the cat. While my cat is shy and usually afraid of new people, he quickly got along with Lillian.”

About: Use my promo code for $20 off! CAMMI16428, https://www.rover.com/sit/cammi16428 **All services on Rover are negotiable. I am more than happy to quote a custom rate based on 15-20min (< 2 miles) or 45min (< 3 miles) as opposed to 30 or 60, which is what Rover defaults to. **There are two main providers (my mom and I) working on this account. I am the lead sitter, and my mom works with me directly. I am responsible for walks, visits, and overnights (in your home) while she runs the daycare and boarding services offered in our home. **Arrival times for bookings: As we all know, Bergen County has its' fair share of traffic and bad weather making getting from one place to another difficult at times. Then, there's apartment complexes and having to wait for an extended period of time to receive a key, for example. With that being said, we kindly ask for flexibility (within reason) in terms of arrival times with the exception being puppies, pets who require medication, and the elderly. All pets are important as are pet owners. We want to make everyone happy with regards to when we arrive. I, Cammie, complete all new client bookings and bookings that require medication or have animals present with special needs of some sort. You are dealing directly with me when communicating via the platform. To ensure your pet is safe and well taken care of, you should aim to use a full-time professional pet sitter that is trained and dedicated. Offered Services: *Kennel-free boarding (our place) *Overnight Stay (your home, 2 options) -Please ask how we can customize your animal's in-home care while you're away. *Drop-in Visits (non-vacation customers) -Can be daily or reoccurring bookings when the visit is not solely focused on walking the animal. For example, if you have a puppy and want me to stop by for 30min, 3x a week to play with and take the puppy out, then this would be considered a drop-in since puppies don't typically go on full blown 30min walks. *Dog Walks -Standard dog walks are 30 minutes and we start the timer as soon as we unlock your door. 1-hr long walks are limited availability and scheduled in the early mornings or late evenings, weekdays only. *Doggy Daycare -Available to clients only (those that have utilized other services, such as: dog walks or visits) *Please know that most services are negotiable for several pets within the same household (for example, if you have 6 cats). **About Me: I've always had animals in my life and over the years, thought I'd be a veterinarian. That never happened, of course, because I couldn't bare the cons of working with animals in that capacity. I began watching pets of friends and family in my free time and wholeheartedly enjoyed it. In January of 2022, my dad passed away unexpectedly from COVID-19 which left me torn to pieces. And somehow, after half of a year, I decided that I was going to focus on the aspects of my life that bring me the most joy. I had to. Before COVID-19, I signed up to Rover but was only acquiring strange/fake inquiries. I don't know why, but I decided to try again after my loss. This time, things took off very unexpectedly. Call it divine intervention or happenstance, but I know what I'm meant to do now and it involves what I've always loved-- animals. I'm happy to announce that I started my business in January of this year, 2023, and dedicate the majority of my time to loving on animals! I go to great lengths to plan and optimize my schedule so that I can give the highest level of service possible to you and your pets. I love what I do, and take this very seriously. When I go to your home, I will respect any and all rules laid out for me. Just let me know whatever you need, and I will get it done!

About: Hi! I started helping my mom dog-sit at my house ever since I was 6. I am around big and little dogs everyday, I own two cats! & I know a lot about cat’s behavior since they have two different personalities :) I am working a part time job at the moment so that leaves me with plenty of time with your pet! Mondays & Wednesdays I am free! I have a big backyard and it has fences around it. I always make sure to have a toy and water with me during playing time.
“Enis was great with Penny! He visited multiple times daily while I was away and kept in touch the whole time, sending pictures of each visit. It was clear from her pictures and our meet and greet that they got along great. He was really flexible as my plans changed and I’m so grateful. When we got home Penny was happy to see us, but she was also amazingly calm, which I take to indicate she wasn’t stressed because she felt safe and cared for. I’ll definitely look to Enis first when I need care for my girl.”

I treat every dog in my care with the same love, attention, and responsibility as my own! I work from home, which allows me to be very flexible and present throughout the day. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for years through family and friends, and I’m always the person they trust to watch their pets. I genuinely love animals, and dogs tend to feel comfortable with me very quickly. I have experience with small and medium-sized dogs, and I’m comfortable adapting to different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’m especially patient with more anxious or sensitive dogs. I have an anxious dog of my own, which has taught me how to read body language, build trust, and create a calm, safe environment. I’m very attentive and detail-oriented, so I always follow care instructions closely, whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, or specific routines. I can also help reinforce basic training like leash manners and structure during walks. My goal is to make every dog feel cared for, understood, and happy while giving owners complete peace of mind. I treat every dog like my own and always keep communication open and consistent. I’m available Thursday through Sunday, with the most flexibility on weekends. On Thursdays and Fridays, I work part-time and am home by early afternoon, so I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and evening care. I prioritize safety, trust, and clear communication above everything. I follow each pet’s routine closely and take the time to understand their individual needs, behaviors, and comfort levels. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time, as well as a very friendly Shihpoo who is used to being around other dogs. I always supervise interactions and make sure every dog feels comfortable and secure. I also have a pet camera at home for added monitoring, and a baby gate if a dog feels more comfortable in a smaller, more confined space. I’m especially mindful with more anxious dogs, as I have one of my own, so I understand the importance of patience and creating a calm, safe environment.

In a client’s home, I make sure to follow your pet’s routine closely, giving them the love and attention they’re used to.
Hasbrouck Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
We had a great experience with the pet care service for our dog, Cola! Jinghong was very patient and caring with her, especially since Cola is an older dog and needs extra attention. We really appreciated the regular visits, feeding support, walks, and overall communication. It gave us peace of mind while we were away. Thank you for taking such good care of Cola — we truly appreciate it!
I cannot recommend Maxibel enough! She has been absolutely amazing with my dog!! She is so kind, caring, and attentive. My dog genuinely gets excited to see her, which gives me so much peace of mind whenever I’m away. She is always punctual, responsible, and incredibly reliable. One thing I especially appreciate is how consistent she is with updates and photos, which always reassures me that my dog is happy and well cared for. It’s clear she truly loves what she does and treats every pet like her own. I’m so grateful we found her!

Truly professional! Anastasiia and Ivan are absolutely amazing at what they do. This was my first time leaving Bella for longer than usual, and I’ll admit I was a bit nervous about having her stay at home with people she didn’t know. But after seeing their incredible reviews, I decided to trust them — and I’m so glad I did. They exceeded every expectation. They were detailed, followed all instructions perfectly, and most importantly, their communication was outstanding. They kept me updated on everything and always asked questions before making any decisions. They made me feel completely comfortable, and Bella was genuinely happy with them. One moment that really stood out: on their first day, after we had already left, Bella was feeling uneasy when they walked in. Ivan sat on the floor near her and patiently waited for her to approach him, creating a calm and safe environment for her. That level of care and understanding meant so much. They showed real affection and truly cared about Bella’s wellbeing. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, caring, and professional sitters for their furry family members.

While I was away, Tania took amazing care of my Doberman and Chihuahua. She was incredibly informative, kept me in the loop the entire time, and made being away from my dogs so much easier. She sent updates with pictures and videos, which was not only helpful but also super cute and reassuring. Both of my dogs were comfortable and clearly well cared for I could tell they were happy and relaxed with her. Tania treated them like her own and handled them with so much patience and love. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and will definitely be reaching out to her again!
