She took care of my cat, Simba, for almost a week, and the whole experience felt like dropping him off at a family member’s that I could trust. Ditto other reviews, Rita’s communication was top notch – pro-actively providing health and status updates and sharing fun pictures/videos at least few times a day. It's very obvious she has a genuine affection for pets. She also exercised a lot of patience approaching and gaining my cat’s trust as he’s very skittish especially in a new environment. Her distinctive ability to read my cat’s body language ensured that Simba was always within his comfort zone (literally the cat whisperer!!) Additionally, her set up’s great with a separate room in her apartment that provided Simba with privacy and alone time that all cats need. Could not recommend her enough for cat sitting!! Gut feel her rates are very fair for the quality of professional service she provides. I’d almost rather drop my cat off with her than family as I can rest easy knowing he’ll be in good hands. “First Impressions Boarding my dog, Lilly, with someone outside the family for the first time made me a little nervous. My granddaughter, who had used Rover before, helped me submit the application and choose a sitter. Even on the way to drop Lilly off, I still felt apprehensive, but that quickly changed when Teresa gave us such a warm welcome and Lilly and I were greeted by Teresa’s three friendly dogs. Although Lilly seemed a bit overwhelmed at first, she soon relaxed after playing in Teresa’s large backyard, and I felt comfortable leaving her there. Updates During Her Stay Teresa reassured me that Lilly would be well cared for and promised to keep me updated. She followed through by sending photos and notes about how Lilly was sleeping, eating, and taking her medicine, which I really appreciated. Pickup and Overall Experience When I picked Lilly up, Teresa told me what a joy she had been to care for. She said Lilly was very sweet, that her daughter had fallen in love with her, and even one of her dogs had taken a liking to her. Teresa also said Lilly would be welcome back anytime. I left feeling grateful for the care Lilly received and would happily trust Teresa with her again.”

This was our quick test to make sure our dog (and we) could handle the separation for a short period of time, as a bridge to boarding her for a longer stretch of time. About: I had grew up with dogs since I was kid from puppy stages to senior. I am currently owner of 2 year old king Charles cavalier who is healthy and happy as both enjoy plenty of long walks and hike. I would like to give your pet same love and attention ! I'm currently available in the afternoon and evenings. Monday through Friday. Could also do late morning if needed just let me know ahead of time. I give Ollie a lovong happy home plenty of socialization. I feed twice a day and walk him 3 times day one time in the morning , afternoon and evening. About: I've loved animals my whole life and have been around cats in one way or another for most of my life. I grew up with multiple cats and I've been taking care of my cat Cole since adopting her in 2018 as a kitten. I've been volunteering at a cat shelter for several years as a socializer and love visiting as many cats as I can when I'm there (I always stay longer than my shift). I love them dearly, always want what's best for them, and would treat your cat with the same care concern I'd treat for my own. I'd be happy to provide drop-in visits for feedings/etc or to provide your cat with some play/social time! I love meeting new cats and taking in their unique quirks! While I've had a lot more exposure to felines, I've spent time and cared for several dogs as well and would gladly care for yours while you are away. I've had a lot of good experiences with them - I’m good pals with my landlady's pitbull and my dad’s chocolate lab! I’ll give your dog lots of attention and be mindful of their personality, especially during walks. I’ve had some anxious ones that can get a bit testy when they see other dogs during walks and I’ve handled them well. I'm between jobs at the moment, so I am fairly flexible in terms of availability with some notice. Sunday is my day for volunteering, though I can swap my shift if need be to provide your pet with the care it needs. I'm happy to arrange for shorter/longer visits on single/recurring basis. Can assist with feedings, playtime or just hang out and provide them a loving lap! Also happy to provide photo/video updates of your fur babies to help put your mind(s) at ease!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I have rescued my dogs while traveling through South America since 2022 and have been taking care of them. The old one is 5 yrs old and the second one is 2yrs old. I work remotely so I spend all day with my dogs except for when I have to run errands. “This was my first time using Rover or any dog walking service, let alone have anyone aside from myself, dad, or brother take care of my pup. And I have ZERO regrets. My dad was supposed to stay with my dog for the long weekend I was away, but last minute he couldn’t and I needed a plan B. I came to Rover to see if I could find a solution and I did- Peter! About: Have raised and owned pitbulls, German Shepard, Dalmatian, experience with huskies. Great with all breeds. Walks of any duration, none too long or short. Any and all special instructions and dietary needs will be followed...trust! I currently have open availability and can take requests at any hour, any day. Am willing to do light travel. She took care of my cat, Simba, for almost a week, and the whole experience felt like dropping him off at a family member’s that I could trust. It's very obvious she has a genuine affection for pets. She also exercised a lot of patience approaching and gaining my cat’s trust as he’s very skittish especially in a new environment. Her distinctive ability to read my cat’s body language ensured that Simba was always within his comfort zone (literally the cat whisperer!!) Additionally, her set up’s great with a separate room in her apartment that provided Simba with privacy and alone time that all cats need. Could not recommend her enough for cat sitting!!
