I have a lot of availability at the moment. Weekdays and weekends are nearly always free, especially for walking and check-ins. I love to be outside and walk/run, especially with dogs.

I’ll be down to play with your pets’ favorite toys, go for a walk or run around the neighborhood or at the park or in the backyard if you prefer, groom and bathe them, and keep them stimulated pretty much for the whole visit. It’s very hard for me to ignore a bored pet! I don’t mind getting messy if your dog wants to play some hard tug of war in the grass. I also love to cook and think it’s super important to nourish animals properly so your pet might enjoy some gourmet meals if you’d like.

I had a cat for 6 years and plenty of experience handling and taking care of dogs - I volunteered in an animal shelter with dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens for 4 years. I am 5’7” and relatively strong so I am also able to handle larger dogs (no pulling that leash away on my watch!). I have 3 years of experience as an EMT, so in case of an unexpected accident I am able to provide emergency first aid if necessary (helping a pet often involves the same basics as helping a person!)

Amelia was absolutely wonderful with Luli. From the beginning, she was kind, attentive, and super easy to communicate with. Luli can be a little reserved around new people, but she warmed up to Amelia almost right away. Amelia sent thoughtful updates, photos, and videos. It was clear she wasn’t just doing the basics but was actually spending quality time with Luli, making sure she was comfortable, well-fed, and had her usual little routines. I came home and Luli was relaxed and happy and the apartment was clean. I’Il definitely be reaching out to Amelia again next time I’m away. Highly, highly recommend!!
Amelia was amazing! She took the time to meet my furbabies on short notice because she understands the importance of making your pets feel as comfortable as possible. My senior dog has her quirks especially when it comes to feeding and generally opening up to people but she gave her lots of special care and attention. She also gave my kitty lots of playtime and met all their needs on every visit. I knew being away from them was going to be difficult for both me and them but she was so responsive and kept me up to date on everything that I felt so much more relieved. I will definitely be returning to her the next time I'll need someone to watch my babies.
Amelia was so kind and patient with my dog. She is a very energetic dog, but Amelia had no trouble keeping up and keeping her engaged and active.
