“This was my first time using Rover or any dog walking service, let alone have anyone aside from myself, dad, or brother take care of my pup. And I have ZERO regrets. My dad was supposed to stay with my dog for the long weekend I was away, but last minute he couldn’t and I needed a plan B. I came to Rover to see if I could find a solution and I did- Peter! My pup is very lovable but also not easy, and many are too scared or just don’t want to deal with him. Because of that, I wanted to do a meet and greet first, which Peter happily agreed to. After just one visit, I knew that not only could he handle my dog and he would be well-taken care of, but knew they both were about to become buds. I was able to go away and not have any worries, especially since Peter gave very thorough recaps of his visits and pictures. About: I've loved animals my whole life and have been around cats in one way or another for most of my life. I grew up with multiple cats and I've been taking care of my cat Cole since adopting her in 2018 as a kitten. I've been volunteering at a cat shelter for several years as a socializer and love visiting as many cats as I can when I'm there (I always stay longer than my shift). I love them dearly, always want what's best for them, and would treat your cat with the same care concern I'd treat for my own. I'd be happy to provide drop-in visits for feedings/etc or to provide your cat with some play/social time! I love meeting new cats and taking in their unique quirks! While I've had a lot more exposure to felines, I've spent time and cared for several dogs as well and would gladly care for yours while you are away. I've had a lot of good experiences with them - I’m good pals with my landlady's pitbull and my dad’s chocolate lab! I’ll give your dog lots of attention and be mindful of their personality, especially during walks. I’ve had some anxious ones that can get a bit testy when they see other dogs during walks and I’ve handled them well. I'm between jobs at the moment, so I am fairly flexible in terms of availability with some notice. Sunday is my day for volunteering, though I can swap my shift if need be to provide your pet with the care it needs. I'm happy to arrange for shorter/longer visits on single/recurring basis. Can assist with feedings, playtime or just hang out and provide them a loving lap! Also happy to provide photo/video updates of your fur babies to help put your mind(s) at ease!

About: Have raised and owned pitbulls, German Shepard, Dalmatian, experience with huskies. Great with all breeds. Walks of any duration, none too long or short. Any and all special instructions and dietary needs will be followed...trust! I currently have open availability and can take requests at any hour, any day. Am willing to do light travel. Just send a request and we'll make it happen! I take my two dogs out for no less than 90 minutes a day each. I have a fenced in back yard for little breaks when I'm in and out of the house and play with them frequently.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I have rescued my dogs while traveling through South America since 2022 and have been taking care of them. The old one is 5 yrs old and the second one is 2yrs old. I work remotely so I spend all day with my dogs except for when I have to run errands. About: I had a maltipoo who I cared for for 13 years so I am confident in caring for pups like her. I’ve also had to dog-sit some friends’ dogs who’d I bring for walks, play in the yard, and fill food and water bowls for them while gone! I generally work 3 days a week so I am looking to care and walk dogs for a couple other days during my week to fill my days. I will make sure to close all doors that I have entered and make sure the dog is back in the house before leaving. I will make sure I put everything back to where they were and fill any bowls that I am instructed to make sure the dogs are comfortable until their owners or next person comes to see them!
