“Leah was very pleasant, reliable, and professional. She was able to accommodate our travel schedule and took good care of our little pooch. We were worried about going away for our weekend trip, but I felt very confident that our dog, Gabi, was in good hands. She updated us with photos and a report card of Gabi. I would definitely use Leah’s services again and highly recommend her!”

“Catherine followed my pet caring instructions to a tee. She had excellent communication and listened carefully to me regarding my pet's needs. Very reliable. I would definitely book with her again.”

For senior dogs, I offer gentle, attentive care, whether they need medication reminders, slower walks, or just a calm presence throughout the day. Your pet never feels rushed, and you never have to worry about me balancing other jobs or squeezing you in. This is what I do, all day, every day. Your pet’s comfort and safety always come first. I care for pets in their own home because that’s where they feel most secure, confident, and relaxed. I follow your routines exactly, feeding times, walks, medications, training cues, preferred routes, and house rules , so everything stays familiar and predictable for your pet. “Michelle is extremely professional and my dog warmed up to her almost instantly. Although my dog was a bit excited in the beginning, jumping on her, Michelle kept her cool and they had a great walk together! If you want your pet to be treated like family, Michelle is your go to person! Passionate about dogs and a true animal lover! Thanks Michelle!”

“Diana and Andrew are great with my puppy. They are reliable and trustworthy. I was very comfortable having them with my puppy who is six months old. They took her for her walk and also gave her play and cuddles which she loves. They also sent me multiple photos. Will definitely be rebooking with them.”

“I needed a dog-sitting service last minute, and Angela came through in a big way! She was super responsive and made sure my dog was well taken care of despite the short notice. I got updates and pictures, which really put my mind at ease. My dog seemed happy and relaxed when I returned. Highly recommend for anyone in a pinch!”

“I have to start saying I’ve never hired a dog walker before, it was hard to trust someone else to take care of my pup. I had to find someone urgently a couple of days ago and Lillian was super accommodating with her needs and our requests. She was able to go to our place right away and kept us posted on every step of the way. She seemed pretty nice and I wanted to meet her as we’ll need more help with our pup in the future. We met a couple of days after and I have to say she was super sweet and loving towards my pup. I was happy she remembered all the things I told her about our dog. She even walked to the park and stayed with us for a while. She made it easier for me to trust in this apps. I highly recommend her.”

About: I've loved animals my whole life and have been around cats in one way or another for most of my life. I grew up with multiple cats and I've been taking care of my cat Cole since adopting her in 2018 as a kitten. I've been volunteering at a cat shelter for several years as a socializer and love visiting as many cats as I can when I'm there (I always stay longer than my shift). I love them dearly, always want what's best for them, and would treat your cat with the same care concern I'd treat for my own. I'd be happy to provide drop-in visits for feedings/etc or to provide your cat with some play/social time! I love meeting new cats and taking in their unique quirks! While I've had a lot more exposure to felines, I've spent time and cared for several dogs as well and would gladly care for yours while you are away. I've had a lot of good experiences with them - I’m good pals with my landlady's pitbull and my dad’s chocolate lab! I’ll give your dog lots of attention and be mindful of their personality, especially during walks. I’ve had some anxious ones that can get a bit testy when they see other dogs during walks and I’ve handled them well. I'm between jobs at the moment, so I am fairly flexible in terms of availability with some notice. Sunday is my day for volunteering, though I can swap my shift if need be to provide your pet with the care it needs. I'm happy to arrange for shorter/longer visits on single/recurring basis. Can assist with feedings, playtime or just hang out and provide them a loving lap! Also happy to provide photo/video updates of your fur babies to help put your mind(s) at ease!
“Xavier was great! He was on time and patient. I have two dogs with special needs and Xavier took care of them with no issue. He sent plenty of pictures and they clearly were very well taken care of. He was communicative and very helpful!”

“My Topey Boy had a great time with Enis today!!! Arrived on time, friendly, personable, and confident in handling a Pit. My dog is laying on the floor right now recovering from a great workout. Just what the vet recommended. See you again Enis!!”

About: I've taken care of pets for a long time, a long 15 years, and I'm dedicated to helping your baby out, because our pets are our families. I am free every day after 1:00pm and before 8:00 pm. I generally walk people's pets and donate to my local vet in that free time but I'm trying to save! I have a large fence for my own dogs and have spare bowls and dog/cat food if that is necessary. I also have tools for brushing and cleaning!!
“Karla is great! She is very accommodating towards pets needs. She is very kind to my dog and is very easy to communicate with for whatever you may need. She always sends pics of their walks so I always know how their walk went. I’m currently booked with her for weekly walks, and I couldn’t ask for someone better. I will continue to have her walk my Ruby till as long as she can!”

“Sherrie was reliable and loving- an ideal combination! She went the extra mile (literally!) walking our dog Millie to make sure Millie was thoroughly exercised. She checked Millie's water bowls without us asking. Sherrie also communicated with us clearly, promptly, and warmly. We will definitely try and hire her again when Millie needs some extra attention. Thank you, Sherrie!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - South Hackensack
Emily took great care of our dog while we were away!! The communication and care was amazing! Given that the doggy was not feeling his best, she helped him out and updated us how he was doing! And was creative when we hit a snag with the access to our house! Would recommend her care!

I can't say enough about Elizabeth! She was wonderful! I was so worried about finding a dog walker, and she eased my fear. She's definitely confident when it comes to larger breed dogs, the size and look of my dog did not faze her! The initial meet and greet went well! And I think it helped with the relationship between her and my dog.. I'm so relieved that we have someone that we can count on! And someone that my dog likes, and it comfortable to go on walks with! Thanks Elizabeth!! See you next time! 😉

Bryndon is great! Our dog usually barks at everyone that comes in the house. She did not bark at all with Bryndon. She met him at the door and after a few sniffs, sat down so he could pet her! Bryndon was very engaged in learning about Miracle's personality and quirks. He was engaged with her and at the same time maintained full control of her (she can pull at times). Bryndon was also very attentive to everything we shared with him about Miracle and we are very confident that Miracle will be in great hands on her walks with Bryndon.

We’ve had such a great experience with our dog walker, Xavier! He’s been walking our two dogs, Koda and Miso, and I honestly couldn’t ask for better care. Both dogs have their own personalities, and he handles each of them so well—making sure they get the right amount of exercise, attention, and love. I always feel at ease knowing Koda and Miso are in good hands. Xavier is reliable, communicative, and clearly cares about the dogs he works with. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it shows in how happy and relaxed my pups are after every walk. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring!

Jing was wonderful with Bailey. He was a little nervous today because it’s only a few days in our new apt, so he don’t finish his breakfast. Jing sat with him and hand fed him a couple morsels, helping him to feel comfortable and then he finished the rest on his own. I highly recommend Jing and will definitely use her again!

Jungmin did a wonderful job taking care of my dog, Mia. She walked her with great care and regularly sent pictures and videos, which gave me peace of mind knowing Mia was happy and in good condition. Jungmin was very responsive, kind, and clearly attentive to Mia’s needs. I would absolutely hire her again and highly recommend her to anyone.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
