About: Former dog owner of 18 years, with previous experience caring for multiple sized breeds in home and for walks since I was young. Founder and owner of Berry&Co Treatery. I use to make and sell healthy dog treats when I lived in NM! Usually open availability, I am currently away on June 24th for a week, if there are any scheduling issues I will be sure to let you know in advance and try to work something out. About: I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs and cats. I have also cared for other animals like turtles, frogs, rabbits, hamsters and birds. Growing up surrounded by pets sparked a lifelong passion for animal care, and I’ve been caring for them ever since. I used to run my own dog-sitting business in the neighborhood where I grew up. I cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, providing walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of love and attention. It was a rewarding experience that helped me build lasting relationships with both pets and their owners. I’ve also cared for cats and other small animals, always making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines, and I take pride in providing dependable, compassionate care as if they were my own. As a teacher, I have a consistent schedule that allows me to care for dogs before work, after work, and throughout the weekends. On weekdays, your dog will receive plenty of attention in the mornings and evenings, and if boarding with me, they’ll have the companionship of my friendly dog during the day. I’m also available for overnight stays, boarding on weekends, holidays, and school breaks, giving your pet plenty of love, exercise, and personalized care while you’re away. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In my home, pets become part of the family, receiving plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and affection while maintaining their normal routines as closely as possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both your home and your pet’s routine by following feeding schedules, providing walks, playtime, medications if needed, and lots of companionship. I know every pet is unique, so I take the time to understand their personality and needs to ensure they receive the best possible care. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

“Diana and Andrew are great with my puppy. They are reliable and trustworthy. I was very comfortable having them with my puppy who is six months old. They took her for her walk and also gave her play and cuddles which she loves. They also sent me multiple photos. Will definitely be rebooking with them.”

“Scarlet was extremely communicative, sweet and timely. She kept me updated and informed and even made time for a meet and greet a few days before since my pup can get a little nervous around new people. Will definitely be using her services again!!”

“Nheli has been great with my dog! She has been walking him the past few weeks. She took the time to build trust with him as he is nervous around new people at first and now he loves her lots!!”

About: I worked for Animal Loving Care (ALC) for 2 years when I lived in NYC. During that time, I walked dogs, I was a pet sitter and worked in the daycare department. The company wanted me to come back but I moved to New Jersey once I became a mom. It's a long commute for me to go every day taking public transportation to New York with my son. I've been walking and taking care of dogs from external clients that I have and who ACCEPT ME TO GO WITH MY SON. You can see photos on my profile. We live in an apartment, but we have parks nearby, and there is plenty of green space right downstairs. My son is a calm child, and he likes animals. He doesn't hit, bite, or scratch, neither the animals nor us.
“Jayvon, was an exceptional.dog walker. My dog doesnt get to comfortable with strangers immediately, but he was calm and gave her the tine tio adjust to him while still doing his job. Furthermore, He came eceryday ontime even though we had a serious snow storm. Overall, Great guy and will definitely use him again.”

“Jing was wonderful with Bailey. He was a little nervous today because it’s only a few days in our new apt, so he don’t finish his breakfast. Jing sat with him and hand fed him a couple morsels, helping him to feel comfortable and then he finished the rest on his own. I highly recommend Jing and will definitely use her again!”

“Bryndon was great with our almost 3 year old corgi, Rome. It was Rome’s first walk without us from our home, and Bryndon handled this well. It was a super hot day (hello heat wave!) and Bryndon was flexible when Rome refused to walk very far. He asked if they could walk around in the back yard, and we noticed him working on some commands during the walk, which is terrific. Rome seemed to have a great time and Bryndon handled this diversion well. Looking forward to having a great dog walker/sitter nearby for when we are busy or away!”

Emily took great care of our dog while we were away!! The communication and care was amazing! Given that the doggy was not feeling his best, she helped him out and updated us how he was doing! And was creative when we hit a snag with the access to our house! Would recommend her care!

I can't say enough about Elizabeth! She was wonderful! I was so worried about finding a dog walker, and she eased my fear. She's definitely confident when it comes to larger breed dogs, the size and look of my dog did not faze her! The initial meet and greet went well! And I think it helped with the relationship between her and my dog.. I'm so relieved that we have someone that we can count on! And someone that my dog likes, and it comfortable to go on walks with! Thanks Elizabeth!! See you next time! 😉

Bryndon is great! Our dog usually barks at everyone that comes in the house. She did not bark at all with Bryndon. She met him at the door and after a few sniffs, sat down so he could pet her! Bryndon was very engaged in learning about Miracle's personality and quirks. He was engaged with her and at the same time maintained full control of her (she can pull at times). Bryndon was also very attentive to everything we shared with him about Miracle and we are very confident that Miracle will be in great hands on her walks with Bryndon.

We’ve had such a great experience with our dog walker, Xavier! He’s been walking our two dogs, Koda and Miso, and I honestly couldn’t ask for better care. Both dogs have their own personalities, and he handles each of them so well—making sure they get the right amount of exercise, attention, and love. I always feel at ease knowing Koda and Miso are in good hands. Xavier is reliable, communicative, and clearly cares about the dogs he works with. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it shows in how happy and relaxed my pups are after every walk. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring!

Jing was wonderful with Bailey. He was a little nervous today because it’s only a few days in our new apt, so he don’t finish his breakfast. Jing sat with him and hand fed him a couple morsels, helping him to feel comfortable and then he finished the rest on his own. I highly recommend Jing and will definitely use her again!

Jungmin did a wonderful job taking care of my dog, Mia. She walked her with great care and regularly sent pictures and videos, which gave me peace of mind knowing Mia was happy and in good condition. Jungmin was very responsive, kind, and clearly attentive to Mia’s needs. I would absolutely hire her again and highly recommend her to anyone.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
