About: I have direct experience caring for pets of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience. I'm comfortable with feeding routines and administering basic medications. I’m home from college until July 24th, and I have a flexible, open schedule that lets me prioritize pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and extended stays, and I make sure pets receive consistent attention and care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their usual routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding, exercise, and any medications if needed. I’m very mindful of safety, keeping pets supervised, ensuring environments are secure, and avoiding anything that could put them at risk. I also treat your home with respect, cleaning up after myself and your pet, and leaving everything neat and tidy. I also keep communication open with updates and photos! My goal is to create a stress-free, loving environment where your pet feels at home.

She keeps him company and gave him the treats occasionally. Alexandra also learned about administering the subcutaneous fluid injection on Bootsie daily - a new skill that should be added in her resume. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for practically all of my life. My family and friends would ask me to take care of or walk their pets and I’d always be there when they needed. I’m also used to taking care of puppies and kitties and enjoyed it no matter how tiring it may have been. My schedule right now is completely free other than going to school and so I’ll always have time to be able to walk a dog or take care of them. In my clients home if I’m pet sitting I’ll make sure I ask where their food is, where I take their water from and if there’s anything in their house that is specifically for their pet and remember that spot for future uses.

About: I feel comfortable attending dog of all ages and sizes. My experience in at vet clinic, provides me with confidence and knowledge in vet care allow me to respond in emergency responses with attention to detail. I work part time at a vet clinic, so I have freedom on Sunday-Wednesday. if true weekends are needed then I can request that time. I create boundaries with Owner and clients. Allow time to build trust rather than jumping into it with uncertainty. consistency shows respect on both sides.

About: In addition to having worked via Rover for about four months (as of early May '26) -- during which time I've had many pleased recurring and one-time customers, have cared for a wide range of dogs, from a massive greyhound to an uncharacteristically aggressive male lab to a 20-year-old miniature requiring careful TLC -- I've taken care of two family dogs who became family members, one of which I rescued from a neglectful owner. I was a hands-on dad to my son, and as a single parent knew well how to feed and change him and care for him when he was sick. As a senior, I have the experience and "seasoning" to know what's important, whether it's an infant or child or a family dog, and, then, how to see to it that the one in my care is well cared for, happy, and loved. Since the condo development where my wife and I live doesn't allow dogs, I take special pleasure in spending time with them at every opportunity. I come from a long line of dog lovers on my dad's side, and I proudly carry on that tradition. I'm a retiree who does part-time volunteer work, both hands-on with elementary-school-aged children and legislative and policy advocacy on behalf of folks with intellectual and developmental disabilities. My other major activities are staying in shape and learning a foreign language. These part-time gigs, and the fact that my wife works part-time, leave me enough time to do some pet care. I cannot care for pets in my home, or for that matter have a dog, because the condo development where I live does not permit dogs. I care for dogs in their owner's homes, following their owners' lead, so to speak, and according to their owners' directives. Fortunately, this means that the dogs I care for, who know their way around their own turf, do not need to adjust to new environs. As a guest myself, I am naturally inclined to treat the home where I find myself with extra care and respect, more so than I would my own home.
