I have over 3 years of hands-on dog care experience, including working at two dog daycare/kennel facilities for approximately six months each. In these roles, I was responsible for supervising dogs of all sizes and temperaments, cleaning and sanitizing play areas, handling waste, bathing, brushing, de-shedding, and treating minor wounds. I am very familiar with dog body language and behavior. I can recognize signs of anxiety, stress, fear, overstimulation, and potential aggression, and I know how to respond calmly and safely. I have experience separating dog altercations and maintaining a controlled environment. I am also a dog owner of a Golden Retriever and a rescued Labrador Retriever. I raised my Golden Retriever from puppyhood, so I am highly experienced with puppy care, potty breaks, feeding schedules, and exercise needs. My Labrador was rescued with injuries, and I cared for him during recovery, including wound care and post-neutering recovery. I provide attentive, compassionate care and believe in building trust with every dog. I communicate clearly with pet parents and always prioritize safety, comfort, and emotional well-being. Dogs tend to bond with me quickly, and I take pride in creating a calm, loving, and structured environment

I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and routine at all times. I closely follow pet parents’ instructions, monitor behavior and body language, and maintain a calm environment. I properly supervise interactions, secure doors and leashes, administer basic care when needed, and provide regular updates to ensure trust and peace of mind.

Great experience! Communication was easy and consistent, and I felt very comfortable leaving my pets in her care. She went above and beyond — Rocket is currently going through a hard time and she cooked fresh meals for Rocket every day and was able to get him to eat without vomiting, which has been a big challenge for him. She was also wonderful with Luna and made sure both of them were well cared for. I really appreciated the updates and photos while I was away. They were clearly happy and comfortable. I would definitely book again and highly recommend her! 🐾

Karla is great! She is very accommodating towards pets needs. She is very kind to my dog and is very easy to communicate with for whatever you may need. She always sends pics of their walks so I always know how their walk went. I’m currently booked with her for weekly walks, and I couldn’t ask for someone better. I will continue to have her walk my Ruby till as long as she can!

Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I structure my schedule around walks, feedings, playtime, potty breaks, and rest periods. I am flexible, reliable, and able to accommodate early mornings, evenings, weekends, and recurring care needs.
