Keka was a great sitter! She took care of our big pup, being mindful about his injury while also listening to his needs. We especially appreciate her accepting the request on such short notice. We came home to a happy and fulfilled doggie!

Pros: Keka responded within 3-5 hours both times I messaged her regarding my pet. She also kept my dog alive and did not lose her. Cons: Dropoff of my pet was a bit odd. I brought a bag of my pet’s stuff including her bed. Keka came outside barefoot in cold weather and shut the door behind her. I asked where I should put my pet’s stuff and she gestured to the dirt next to her bushes by the front door. Odd. We feed our dog raw and I asked if she wanted me to show her the amount as well as how to store the food in her thawing tubs and she asked “do you have a video you can send me?” When I asked if I should come inside to show her. I’ve never been to a Rover who didn’t allow me to see where my pet would stay. When we picked up our dog she was also waiting outside - she did not want me to look inside her home. I was going to leave no review and just not act as a repeat customer but when I came home I saw we had 6 meals’ worth of raw food left as well as 8 plates. I bring exact amounts of food as well as paper plates (as I don’t want to burden the rover with dishes because my dog eats raw). In addition to severely underfeeding my dog the one warning I had was that my dog would eat grass and plants if left unsupervised. My dog immediately pooped in our yard within an hour of bringing her home and she had a large dingleberry full of grass stuck to her after she pooped. The icing on the cake is that she lost our dog’s special harness and just told us when we went to pick her up. Besides underfeeding my dog and the poop filled with grass my dog seemed to be in high spirits when we picked her up so I anticipate no permanent damage. Keka is fast at responding if you inquire about your pet and is present during pickup and drop off. I’d recommend her if you portion out exact meals and make it easy to keep track of feedings. She was pleasant in other aspects I was just upset that our dog came back with so many meals (when we should have received zero leftovers). The not viewing her living space, lack of monitoring when being let outside, and lost harness were not major issues.

I left my 3 month old lab mix puppy with a close friend. I got a text from said friend asking to drop him off because she could no longer care for him. Keka accommodated a last minute booking. My dog was loved, and spoiled for the duration of our vacation. She set my mind at ease daily with pictures, and updates. She is kind. and patient. I would recommend her to any, and everyone looking for a safe place for their fur baby. My puppy was sad when she walked away! I cannot express how thankful I am 💕

Keka was an excellent pet sitter. She was totally comfortable with providing insulin injections to our diabetic, senior cat. She gave multiple updates while we were away, and she was generally professional and caring.

She went above and beyond to make sure my pup felt comfortable, loved, and well-cared-for while I was away. I got regular updates, and adorable photos, that showed just how much she truly cares.
