Pet care is a big part of my everyday life because of my two dogs, Bobby and Dutch. They’ve taught me the importance of consistency, patience, and being present. I always ask about their feeding schedule, energy level, and how they behave on walks or around other animals. I also like to know if they have any medical conditions, take medications, or have triggers like loud noises or separation anxiety. Having Bobby and Dutch has taught me that every pet is different. Bobby loves toys and attention, while Dutch is more food driven and doesn’t care much for toys total opposites! Knowing those little things makes a big difference. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active and happy, just like I do with my own dogs, Bobby and Dutch. Every pet has their own personality, so I adjust the fun to fit them! For energetic dogs, I’ll go on long walks, play fetch, or do tug-of-war. If they’re more relaxed, I’ll keep things calm with cuddle time or gentle play. I also enjoy using treat puzzles or toys that keep pets mentally engaged. With Bobby and Dutch, I’ve learned how to keep playtime fun but safe, and I always make sure every pet I watch feels loved, entertained, and totally at home.
