“I could not be happier with Sara! This was my first time having a non-family member watch my dog while I was out of town and I was so nervous about it. I looked at a lot of options before deciding on Sara and am so glad I did - Sara stayed at my place and with Sasha for two weeks. About: I have 3 years of professional dog training experience, working with over 100-150 dogs in obedience, rehabilitation, and off-leash training using proper e-collar techniques and various training tools. I’ve also administered medication and helped socialize dogs. In addition to training my own dog for the past 5 years, I’ve assisted my girlfriend with dog care on Rover, ensuring every pup gets the attention, exercise, and structure they need. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine—I work full-time from 9 to 5, so I'm available for walks and drop-ins before 9 AM, after 5 PM, and throughout the weekends. I love giving dogs a fulfilling experience by incorporating play, long walks, and short training sessions to keep them mentally stimulated. I’m also available for house sitting and boarding at my home, where your dog will receive plenty of care and attention from both me and my girlfriend, who’s also experienced with dogs and active on the Rover app. Lastly I am also available on the weekends as well if need be. I live in a pet-friendly home with plenty of space for your dog or cat to feel comfortable and safe. There's a beautiful park right behind my place, perfect for walks and outdoor time. I have room for a crate if needed and lots of open space indoors for your pet to relax and roam freely. When caring for a client’s pet in their home, I prioritize safety by following their specific routines and instructions closely. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are securely closed, keep harmful items out of reach, and never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations. I maintain a clean and calm environment, monitor their behavior closely, and provide regular updates to the owner to ensure peace of mind. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priority.

“I had a great experience with Salette! I was really anxious because one of my pups requires a lot of care and it’s also nerve wracking to have someone new house and pet sit. However from the moment we facetimed on the phone for our meet and greet I felt comfortable with her and my fears were put at ease. We also did a in person meet and greet and my pups adored her. For the 2 days I was away she sent pictures and followed all care instructions and when I came back all puppies were happy and well. One even velcroed herself to her which I was happy to see because she usually tends to have separation anxiety. She also took great care of my living space even though she didn’t have to - in fact, I came back to a cleaner house than the one I left. Overall, Salette is extremely trustworthy and I would definitely use her services in the future ☺️”

“Marita is a natural with animals. She took good care of Teddy and he immediately warmed up to her. Overall, very satisfied with her flexibility, professionalism and service.”

“Jade took excellent care of Zeus while I was away. He’s very timid but took to her immediately; you can tell she’s very good with animals. She was also very responsive and sent plenty of pics to keep my mind at ease while I was away. Highly recommend.”

“Siara was lovely and we will absolutely have her back. Even though it was her first time taking care of our two large pups and she was plagued with frequent storms and an unexpected limp, she handled each challenge with grace and communicated with us well! Highly recommend!”

“Emily was fantastic with our puppy. She sent pictures and updated us on how the day was going. Our dog was immediately comfortable with her and they had a great day together!”

“Jestine was amazing! She took such good care of Stubs and the house and gave updates throughout the stay. Jestine is so thoughtful and sweet and truly understands the needs of animals. Highly recommend and will be booking her for future stays. Thanks!”

“Nicole was the first pet sitter I ever used, and I couldn't have asked for a better person. She was professional, highly communicative, and adept at caring for my senior rabbit and cats. My senior rabbit required medication throughout, which she managed well. It was reassuring to have Nicole there for my pets, and her evident love for animals and experience shone through. Amazing Housesitting! I would highly recommend her with a 10/10 rating.”

About: I promise to love your dog as much as you do, and to give him/her plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and treats! I'm a lifelong dog owner with broad experience with many breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I hail from a long line of dog lovers, and happy to provide references upon request. I'm a single, responsible, dependable professional with a Master's degree, and have studied Animal Behavior and Animal Psychology. I recently lost my own dog (15 year old German Shepherd mix), and getting involved in dog sitting and walking has helped me fill this void. My friends and family often refer to me as a "dog whisperer." Currently I have an extremely flexible, open schedule (including nights, weekends)- I'm also available on short notice. My unconditional love and passion for dogs (and all animals) is indescribable, and this passion and enthusiasm seems to grow more and more by the day. I have spent my entire life around dogs, have owned/cared for many of them. I possess a natural ability to "instantly connect" with new dogs, and I'm able to quickly and confidently earn their trust, love, and friendship. I can honestly say that the only time I'm truly happy is when I'm around dogs- and I would love to meet yours! I also have experience with cats and other pets. Thank you for considering my profile, it would be a privilege to work with you and your four-legged friend!

“Natasha was not only great with our dog Bruce but also a respectful house guest. She sent images of Bruce that kept us smiling while we were on our vacation, and we knew he was having a good time with her. I think she gave Bruce more walks and quality time than we’re usually able to give - so we hope to have her stay next time we’re out of town, too.”

“Molly and her husband were great, they took care of our two dogs while we were away for a few days and made sure they were pampered and stayed healthy. They also left our place clean and went the extra mile to get our puppy some extra food when he ran out of it. Highly recommend!”

About: Our Why? We have Huskies, and while still offering our service to other breeds, we highlight that it takes a fellow Husky owner to understand what a Husky needs. Despite their mischievous shenanigans, Houdini escape attempts, endless fur-sheddings, high-pitched vocalizations, bubbly, energized personalities, and hyperactive frolicking, we adore huskies. We understand finding experienced, dependable, loving, and trustworthy caregivers for your Husky isn't easy. That's why we are here to help. We currently have two friendly young huskies (one male and one female- fixed and crate-trained). We also have experience with English bulldogs, Sharpeis, Chow-Chows, Labs, Doodles, and Boxers. We only offer care for dogs based upon the comfortability of the match to our pet-care style and demeanor. We love our pets as we will love yours. We are focused on weekends, holidays, and summer care. We are open to possible weekday arrangements if your dog is crate-trained. Before booking us, a drop-by visit is required to test the compatibility of all humans and dogs. A few things: Special note-while we have never owned a French bulldog, we are particularly interested in learning to care for this breed. Your pet must be spayed or nurtured to receive boarding in our home. Also, we are sorry but we cannot offer care for full or mixed Pit Bull breeds. How does pet care fit into your daily and weekly lives? Our pets receive two meals a day, comprising dry food and water. Our pets are crate-trained and remain crated when owners are away. Most of the time, there is an adult in the house. Our dogs can access a large fenced backyard with green grass and trees. Our dogs walk with owners through nearby Branch Brooke Park and visit the dog park almost daily. Our dogs are crated during adult meal times and sleep in the main bedroom on the floor, side couch, or end of bed at night. We maintain a clean home and provide puppy pads during inclement weather to avoid mud and chaos. Pets have access to some rooms, but not all rooms in the house. Toys and treats are provided regularly. Linens on beds where animals may sleep are washed and switched out regularly. Our gate is blocked off on both sides because huskies are known for escaping. Our pets have ID collars and ID dog tags and wear GPS trackers during the day. Our dogs are up-to-date on immunizations and have been spayed/neutered. We don't hit our dogs with our hands or objects but use basic word commands. Training dogs is always a work in progress. They are both loved for their uniqueness. We only plan to care for pets in our home. We have a large and welcoming home.

About: Pet care is my full-time job and my greatest passion. I’ve spent years caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet needs exercise, enrichment, or just some cozy company, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and deeply cared for. Pet care is now my full-time job, which means I’m available every day, at any time that works best for you and your pet. Whether I’m dropping in for a visit or taking your dog on a walk, I always make sure they feel safe, secure, and cared for. I take extra precautions with leash safety, avoid overstimulating environments, and closely monitor pets for signs of stress or discomfort. During home visits, I make sure everything stays clean, calm, and hazard-free. I genuinely care about building trust and not just with pets, but with their people too. So you can feel confident your furry friend is in loving, responsible hands.

About: Dogs have always been in my life since I was a baby! They're part of the family. I've trained those head strong stubborn puppies, and have taken a rescue from timid and scared to the full joys of great doggie life. Very flexible schedule as I owe a very small business where I control my own hours and weekly routine. Can do early morning, and midday walks and visits. If evening visits are needed that's also possible. I will follow all the guidelines that you set out for your pup. Whatever is needed I will do. Even if you need me to feed or give medication - just let me know. Very comfortable doing that for you. Depending on weather I'll make sure not to return your pup wet and muddy. I take great care for your doggie and your home.

Sean M.
“Sean is an incredible dog trainer who truly understands dogs. He knows how to read their body language, adapts his methods to each dog, and builds real trust through positive, structured training. He trained his own dog, Charlie, to be off leash just from self-learning, and their bond clearly shows all the work Sean put into him. I recommend him to anyone that owns a dog & is looking for reliable training that actually works.”

Amber S.
“Amber has proved herself to be one of the most compassionate, detail oriented, and loving owners from what I have witnessed throughout my time knowing her. She’s the kind of person who will do whatever she’s capable of to provide and give the best home. She makes their care both physically and emotionally (all the love and affection) a priority in her life. She’s on top of any medical care needed, providing proper nutrition, engaging in physical activities whether it be playing around or simply going for a walk, and having that cool down time of cuddling up, giving toys and treats. I genuinely can’t think of a better person to trust and feel comfortable with a furry friend.”

Kearny pet parents share their Rover experiences
We got lots of photos and video updates while we were out and Wally was chill as could be when we got home. Totally unbothered by our absence. No better sign of a good time than that.

Natasha was not only great with our dog Bruce but also a respectful house guest. She sent images of Bruce that kept us smiling while we were on our vacation, and we knew he was having a good time with her. I think she gave Bruce more walks and quality time than we’re usually able to give - so we hope to have her stay next time we’re out of town, too.

Incredibly reliable and caring sitter, we have been using her for a year at least, she’s always so great with Cocoa!

Our experience with Val was excellent! My 2 dogs seemed happy and well cared for . She was very responsive and we had no issues. I would highly recommend Val!

Hanna was great taking care of both of my boys while out of town for the weekend. She sent picture updates throughout the stay and my pups definitely seemed to be in good hands! 10/10 would recommend and book again. Thank again Hanna!

Keith was wonderful at accommodating our last minute weekend house sitting request. It was our first time being away from our pup after only 3 weeks of ownership. We explained the situation to Keith, and he came over for a meet and greet. Our dog took to him right away and put our mind at ease. Keith is personable, respectful and a clear dog lover. We look forward to booking with him again.

Abi is fantastic! She cared for our pets and home as if they were her own. She took our dog on a walk on the snowy forest trails everyday and sent us a pet update with photos each evening. She even offered to buy crickets for our lizard and left a really nice gift for our pup. The bed was stripped, blankets folded, and the house was tidy. You can't ask for a more perfect sitter.

Sydney was awesome! So easy to communicate with, super respectful of the space and my dog had a great time hanging with her. Would definitely have her dog sit again!

Evelina was an amazing amazing sitter for our pup (medium sized foxhound). She sent so many pictures and videos which made us very comfortable and happy. Our dog warmed up to her immediately. Highly recommend Evelina :)

Tatyana was wonderful with Ginger & Stevie they loved her so much! she sent updates and photos and videos which help me remain calm when I leave them behind. we will definitely book Tatyana next time we travel and hope she is available!

David is as good as it gets. He is responsible, communicative, professional, friendly. Our cats and dogs were immediately at ease with him. He sent pictures of our pets while we were away, gave the dogs even more walks than we do and left the house even cleaner than we left it. I highly recommend David!!
