About: 📝 About me: Hi! I’m Caitlin, a full-time educator and experienced dog owner and foster based in downtown Montclair. I’ve spent many years caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments — both personally and through rescue work. I always prioritize safe, appropriate introductions to ensure a good fit. 💊 Special skills: -Medication administration (oral, topical, etc.) -Experience with IVDD and mobility considerations (I have ramps for furniture) -Allergy-sensitive care (diet/environment awareness, bathing, ear care, etc.) -Handling anxious or leash reactive dogs -Rescue/foster transition support 📅 Availability: -Weekends… boarding, walks, and drop-ins -August… full availability for boarding and extended stays I work full-time outside of the home, but maintain a consistent routine with my dog, Georgia, including hour-long walks each morning and evening. During the day, she is cared for by a long-time, trusted dog walker. On weekends, I love taking her on hikes, beach trips, and other outdoor adventures. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and boarding on weekends and during school holidays. I’m also off for the entire month of August, when I can accommodate longer stays and provide more flexible, full-time care. Safety is always my top priority. I provide a calm, structured environment and closely supervise all dogs in my care. My home is dog-friendly, and I’m mindful about introductions, routines, and each dog’s individual needs. I have extensive experience with a wide range of dogs, including puppies, seniors, medically fragile dogs, and those with leash reactivity or special dietary needs. I’m comfortable administering medications and managing allergies. For boarding, I do not leave dogs unattended for long periods, and I provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing. I also have cameras in my home for added peace of mind.

I am a registered nurse ! I am available on a daily basis depending on my work schedule! I have a clean SUV car that I can travel with pets in. About: I’ve owned multiple dogs over the course of my life and have grown a passion in their care, upkeep, and most importantly, their loving personalities. I understand that every animal is very unique and I enjoy their individual quirks and characteristics that make them who they are. About: I have always been involved in pet care in my home for over 15 years. I have had experience with elderly dogs and cats of my own. I have pet-sitted in my neighborhood for puppies and for breeds different from my own dogs. I will use my energy to play with your pet and hopefully decrease their energy. I have a very flexible schedule since graduating college and applying to graduate school nearby. I have lots of time and availability for stop-ins during the day or bringing study materials to a client’s home. My yard is fenced in and I can take dogs for a walk in Brookdale Park nearby. I will administer medicine and play with dogs and provide them with a cuddly environment.

About: When you love dogs or cats that love will always be with you whether you’re caring for your own pets or someone else’s. I believe pets should be treated like people, with love and a concern for their comfort, happiness and well being. After owning a family retail business for many years, and then working for a major national bank, it was time for a change. Why not do something that involves my love for pets? Dog walking was the answer. For the past eight years I've been delivering dog walking services to pet owners, ensuring strict supervision of pets during excursions while providing a safe and nurturing environment for dogs with different needs, temperaments and medical conditions. Most importantly, you can rest assured that the safety, security and well being of your dog will always be my number one priority. I'm available for dog walking and drop-in visits for dogs or cats, Monday through Friday between 8 am & 4 pm. I’m not usually available on weekends, however, if you’re in a bind and need a walk or a visit on a Saturday or a Sunday, and I have no plans that weekend, I most likely will be able to do it as long as it’s no later than 12 pm. For your dog's safety, dogs are prolific sniffers, inevitably putting things in their mouths that they shouldn't. I pay close attention to and keep a watchful eye on the ground to make sure your dog doesn't put anything in its mouth that can be harmful. In the unlikely event your dog or cat needs medical attention, I’m certified in cat and dog first aid by the American Red Cross.

My husband and I both work full time, but rest assure when you leave your pet with us, they will be comfortable during the day and be taken care of morning and night! I can easily crate your dog if necessary, dogs are free to sleep on the bed if they are spoiled
