Care in my home involves comfy couch access, walks on streets with sidewalks, and plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. I strive to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. Safety is my top priority, so I always use secure leashes and harnesses during walks, closely supervise outdoor time, and make sure pets have a calm, clean, and comfortable environment. Upon request, I am happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.

A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to tailor activities to their energy level, personality, and routine. A typical day includes walks, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of one-on-one attention. For active dogs, I'm happy to go on longer walks or runs, and engage them in other games that help them burn energy. For more relaxed pets, I enjoy spending time lounging together, providing companionship, and making sure they feel comfortable and secure.

Pet care experience
I've been an animal lover my entire life and have experience caring for dogs at every stage. From energetic puppies who need patience and structure, to adolescent dogs learning good habits, to our sweet senior dogs who benefit from a slower pace and extra attention. I also have experience volunteering with animal shelters, which taught me how to work with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and anxiety levels. What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet as an individual. Some dogs want an adventure buddy, some want a cuddle companion, and others just need a calm, reliable presence while their owners are away. I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and quirks so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. As a high school teacher, I'm patient, responsible, and highly communicative. I'll treat your pet like a member of my own family and am happy to keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.
