“Elissa was great. She was friendly and asked a lot of questions during the meet and greet. During the drop in, she gave the pups good playtime outdoors and they ate well. Arya and Yoshi had no signs of stress when we arrived home.”

About: I loveee animals. I grew up with many pets from cute little bunnies, turtles, lizards, birds, dogs and everything in between. I’m very caring which will show in everything I do. Your babies will be my babies, I promise :) I currently work full-time as an elementary teacher. I’m available for boarding your babes on weekends, and weekdays after 4pm. Sometimes I’m off on holidays and I would board then as well. We will always have a great time. Your babe will be free to roam my apartment under my supervision, of course. I also have a large yard, but will keep him on a leash. I can also crate him or her if you prefer. Either way, we will have tons of fun together.
“Ashley doesn't just take care of our two high-maintenance cats - she makes sure everything in the house is safe, secure, and comfortable while we are away! I know it's all in good hands when Ashley is here.”

“My pups ??(and Furby?) and I had a wonderful visit with Stefanie yesterday. We were all really happy! Such a blessing to have this opportunity to work Stefanie again in the future! Thank you so much! :)”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for pets of all ages and personalities. I currently have 3 bunnies of my own, so I understand the importance of patience, attentiveness, and making pets feel safe and comfortable. I absolutely love puppies and enjoy giving pets lots of attention, playtime, and care while their owners are away! Pet care is already a part of my daily routine since I care for my own pets every day. I’m used to feeding schedules, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and making sure animals feel comfortable and cared for. Since I’m a PA student with a flexible summer schedule, I’m able to dedicate time throughout the week to giving pets plenty of attention, walks, and care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always try to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any household rules. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while also keeping the home clean and secure. I understand how important trust and communication are when someone is caring for your pets, and I will always provide updates and treat your pets like my own.
“Maureen took great care of our two kitties! She even brought them toys to keep the entertained while we were away. She is clean, responsible, and was easy to get in touch with. We would definitely hire her again.”

“Brianna is the best! She was super responsive from the moment of inquiry to setting up a meet and greet and throughout the entire experience. I felt confident and comfortable being hundreds of miles away that my babes were well taken care of, even with their little quirks. Brianna will be the first I call when I need someone to care for them!”

I’ve learned lots about animal health/behavior and pet safety and love spending time with any animals! Additionally, I have my Cat and Dog First Aid certification from the American Red Cross. I work part time at an animal hospital so I have lots of availability. My current classes are online, so my schedule is very flexible! I have pet-sitted in my neighborhood for puppies and for breeds different from my own dogs. I will use my energy to play with your pet and hopefully decrease their energy. I have a very flexible schedule since graduating college and applying to graduate school nearby. I have lots of time and availability for stop-ins during the day or bringing study materials to a client’s home. My yard is fenced in and I can take dogs for a walk in Brookdale Park nearby. I will administer medicine and play with dogs and provide them with a cuddly environment.
“Erica is amazing! She really does treat your pet as if it were her own. She follows instructions and is always attention to every little detail. I would definitely recommend her. If I could give her 100 out of 100 stars I would!”

About: I live in a single family house hold. We have a gated outside area and lots of parks near by. I love animals & would love to have company. I do have a job that i go to four days out of the week but the hours varies and I go to school for 3 hours everyday during the weekday. I am willing to accommodate with your hours! About: I have been an animal lover all of my life. I grew up with cats, caring for my beloved Walter until he passed at 20 years old. I have since had the pleasure of my own Lab (now 10) as well as experience in Doggy Day Care where I was playroom manager and responsible for dogs anywhere from 1-20 in one playroom at a time(room combo of an average of 45-55 dogs in the whole building split between rooms and size).I am looking forward to more one on one relationships with families and their pets. I am looking forward to a career as a Vet Technician, and plan to take classes in the Fall. At the moment, I am wide open to spend time with local pets as I prepare to return to school. My plan come Fall will be part time classes and more time animals. Pet care will be my priority in my weekly routine. I always spend time in advance with the fur babies to get to know them and importantly, discuss the pet parents' needs. Do they need special food? Special training at meals for over excited pups? How much do they like to play/walk? Do they like to interact with other pets or prefer to stay one on one with me? I am also extremely responsible in the homes of pet parents, cleaning up after the babies as well as making sure the home is secure.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
