“Maxibel did an amazing job taking care of my two pups! From the start, communication was clear and consistent, which gave me so much peace of mind. It’s obvious how much she genuinely cares about animals my dogs were happy, well cared for, and comfortable the entire time. I came home to two relaxed and content pups, which says everything. I would absolutely trust Maxibel again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

About: Pets have always been part of my life. I've had dogs, cats, goldfish, betta fish, hamsters, bunnies, and chinchillas. Currently in my care are the adorable bunny brother-and-sister duo I call the Wonder Twins, a senior Staffie mix who doesn’t like going down the shore so we’re weekend buddies, and Sassafrass, the “fraidy" cat. Each of these animals has its own rhythm and needs, and I've learned to pay close attention to what makes each one comfortable, whether that's a quiet room, a clean habitat, or a gentle, familiar routine. Since I'm retired, my days have a lot of natural flexibility built in. I can offer morning, midday, and evening visits throughout the week, not just squeezed-in slots around a nine-to-five. Pet care isn't something I fit around my life. It's become one of the things I structure my life around, alongside my own dog, Mojo. All of my care happens in your home, not mine. I come to you for dog walks and feeding visits, so your pet stays in their own familiar space with their own food, bed, and routine. For dogs, that means a walk at their pace around your neighborhood. For cats and smaller pets, it means fresh food and water, litter box or habitat cleaning, and some quiet one-on-one attention. At this time, I don't board pets in my own home. Keeping care in your space is part of what keeps things low-stress for your pet and simple for you.
“Nicole was great! She spent time with my cat, followed all instructions, kept me updated and checked in if she was able to drop in earlier. Would absolutely book again!”

“5 stars for Geoff! He dropped in on Felix several days u in a row, checked his food/water, gave him great company, and communicated perfectly. Would absolutely book again. Highly recommend.”

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! 🐶 I currently have three dogs of my own and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, including my beloved senior dog who lived to be 17 years old. Having dogs throughout my life has taught me how different each dog can be, from energetic pups who love to play and explore to older dogs who need extra patience, comfort, and care. I’m attentive to their individual personalities, routines, and needs, and I’ll make sure your pup gets plenty of love, attention, exercise, and companionship while you’re away. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own! ❤️ I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to provide attentive, reliable pet care. I’m available on weekends and can accommodate a variety of schedules, including walks, drop-in visits, and longer stays when needed. I’m happy to work with each pet’s routine and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, companionship, and care. I understand how important it is to have someone dependable looking after your pets, and I’ll treat every visit as an opportunity to give them the same love and attention I would give my own. When caring for pets in their home, my priority is to keep them comfortable, happy, and on their normal routine. I take the time to learn each pet’s specific needs, personality, feeding schedule, medications if needed, exercise routine, and any house rules their family has in place. I’m respectful of my clients’ homes and always make sure to leave things clean and just as I found them. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and receiving plenty of love and attention while you’re away!

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs, learning to love each breed uniquely. Our pets truly become part of the family and we must treat them as such! I have experience in potty training, crate training and teaching tricks! I am available for daily walks, days and nights. I am available for boarding Monday - Sunday. I am also available on holidays, please just let me know in advance. My dog, Arlo, is a super friendly Mini Aussie who will also keep your pup company. A fenced dog park is available nearby for them to play and run. I will follow feeding, potty, and medication instructions accordingly.
About: I know the specific 'sad eyes' when you pack your bags. My goal is to make my home feel your home and know the exact ways your dog likes their ears scratched, so your dog feels like they’re on a vacation, not just waiting for you to return. I’m home full-time, an early riser, and an active person so I can easily take on your dogs routine and any special needs or requests. I have a fenced yard and a neighborhood with sidewalks. I have three children who love dogs as well and understand safety around meeting new dogs. We are a dog family and love to cuddle!
“I had an amazing experience with Morgan over the Christmas break. She took excellent care of my diabetic cat, ensuring he received his insulin and even administering UTI medication when we discovered he was had a mild UTI. Her attentiveness and care were exceptional, and I would absolutely use her services again!”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with animals and my hands-on care in different situations. I’ve been taking care of my own dogs, cats, and bunnies since I was six years old, so I understand daily routines, exercise needs, and how to keep pets happy and safe. I’ve also helped my grandmother care for cats through the Start Foundation, where I learned patience, gentle handling, and how to look after multiple animals at once. Because of this, I’m comfortable with pets of all ages—from energetic puppies and kittens who needs attention to older pets who require a calmer, more careful approach. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, making sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’ve always had responsibilities taking care of animals at home. I’m used to planning my day around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and making sure pets get the attention they need. I’m consistent and organized, so I can easily stick to a pet’s routine and follow any specific instructions. On a weekly basis, I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to be reliable and available for regular visits or last-minute needs. Taking care of pets is something I genuinely enjoy, so I make it a priority to give them quality time, whether that’s exercise, play, or just keeping them company. For dog walking, I make sure each walk is safe, structured, and tailored to the dog’s energy level and needs. I follow your usual route or preferences, keep dogs securely leashed, and pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. During walks, I allow time for exercise, bathroom breaks, and a positive interactions so they stay happy and engaged. For drop-in visits, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine. This includes feeding, refreshing water, cleaning up after them, and spending quality time with play or companionship so they don’t feel lonely. I also keep an eye on their overall behavior and well-being, making sure everything seems normal while you’re away. For cats, I make sure they are safely in their home and always being careful about opening the door so they don't escape. I take my time till they get to know me. In both cases, I respect your home, follow all instructions carefully, and provide dependable, attentive care so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.
“Maureen was amazing!! She took great care of our dog! She was attentive and sent us pictures of Cooper each time she went to see him which I really appreciated. She followed his schedule and we could tell he was well taken care of while we were away. She played with him each time she came to visit too and he looked so happy! I will definitely be reaching out to book Maureen the next time we go away!”

“Yaneira is great! She watched my kitty Sydney for over a week and did exactly what I asked for and more! I truly felt comfortable being on vacation knowing that Sydney was in Yaneira's hands. She is professional and loves animals, which was easy to tell from when she met Sydney. I will definitely be using Yaneira again the next time I need to go out of town. She is very responsible and committed :)”

“Enis was great with Teddy! This was our first time using Rover and we were very satisfied with the promptness and care Teddy received. Enis was booked somewhat last minute and was very accommodating, came to meet Teddy ahead of time and was able to stop by twice when we were out for the day. We received Rover cards and photos right after each visit which was so nice. Would gladly book Enis again.”

About: I loveee animals. I grew up with many pets from cute little bunnies, turtles, lizards, birds, dogs and everything in between. I’m very caring which will show in everything I do. Your babies will be my babies, I promise :) I currently work full-time as an elementary teacher. I’m available for boarding your babes on weekends, and weekdays after 4pm. Sometimes I’m off on holidays and I would board then as well. We will always have a great time. Your babe will be free to roam my apartment under my supervision, of course. I also have a large yard, but will keep him on a leash. I can also crate him or her if you prefer. Either way, we will have tons of fun together.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Woodland Park
We are so grateful for Geoff! He recently helped us out on very short notice when we needed someone to care for our dog, Cayenne, and our two cats so that our whole family could travel for a college visit with our son. Geoff was incredibly accommodating, reliable, and took great care of all three of them, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Geoff has been wonderful with Cayenne and is someone we know we can depend on. It means a lot to have someone we trust caring for our pets, especially when plans come together unexpectedly. We highly recommend Geoff and truly appreciate everything he does for our furry family members!

Stefanie was absolutely AMAZING! From the moment she started, we felt completely at ease. She sent frequent updates and adorable photos throughout her stay, which meant the world to us. She truly saved us in a last-minute situation and was beyond accommodating and flexible. It was so clear our pups were happy, comfortable, and in the excellent hands. We highly recommend Stefanie to anyone looking for exceptional care! 🐾💛
I am very fortunate to have found Luis a couple weeks before going on a trip. Luis was extremely trustworthy, communicative, accommodating, caring, thoughtful, kind, responsible and prepared. In our initial meetup he took notes, connected with my cats and asked good questions before leaving. I stress when I go away and leave my girls, knowing they had Luis was very comforting. He stayed longer than needed sometimes and was able to accept additional sessions on short notice. He is tremendously reliable. I am very happy with how my girls were treated and will pick Luis as my sitter going forward.

Kaitlin went truly above and beyond for us. During this visit she wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t drive, yet instead of canceling, she arranged for a family member to bring her so our cats would still be cared for. We were incredibly grateful for the extra effort and thoughtfulness she showed. Kaitlin has demonstrated her dedication and commitment time and again, and we feel very lucky to have her caring for our cats. We trust her completely and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
