Ensuring your pet sticks to their daily routine is my top priority, Depending on the weather, I'll take your dog for two to three walks a day. My home is free of other pets and children, so your furry friend will have my undivided attention. For house-sitting, I can stay overnight and will only step out for a few hours if necessary. Health and safety are key, so rest assured, I'm up to date with my COVID and flu vaccines. My apartment is a clean, sanitized haven that's dog-proofed to the max! It's important we have a meet and greet or chat before booking to make sure I understand exactly what your dog needs for a joyful and secure stay. I would like to know if they take any medications and their temper with strangers. Just knowing every single quirk about the animal would help out a lot when watching them. Temperament, treat preferences, diet, likes/ dislikes, fears of noises or people, fears of other dogs or in general, activities, favorite toys, favorite walking routes, what the pet parent specifically would like reported back to them throughout their furbabies stay besides the pictures, videos, and detailed pooping ;) Remember what comes out is a reflection of their health.
A typical day
If im house sitting, boarding etc I love to start off with a nice cuddle sesh with dog, to ensure they have gotten my scent and feel comfortable with me. Or if they aren't the cuddle type we could always go in the backyard and play fetch. I love taking long walks in Saddle River County Park or taking your pup to a doggy playground in Garfield NJ. (If permitted by owner) I also live 5 minutes away from Garett Mountain, so if your dog is up for it we can always go on a nice hike!

Imagine 5 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, 2 goats, and a flock of 30 chickens – that was my everyday! Now, in my own place, I've got a huge, secure backyard that's perfect for pets to enjoy. Here's the deal: when your pet stays with me, they get my full-time attention – no exceptions. I know the worry when you drop off your fur baby and the sitter isn't around as promised. With me, that's not a concern. Your pet will be under my watchful eye 24/7. That's my pledge to you! 🐶🐱
