Throughout my childhood I was able to grow my love and knowledge of many animals. I had cats dogs and small mammals like hamsters and bunnies growing up I got to help care for and learn about. During my teen years I helped family friends and neighbors with their pets including cats, dogs and even goats and chickens. With a solid foundation in feeding, walking, grooming, medicating, and playing with animals, I look forward to meeting and helping out many more pets throughout my twenties and beyond. [Daytime sits: ends before 9pm] [Night sits: flexibility for me to tend to my critters and other local recurring bookings.] Currently looking to go back to school, growing my expertise as a pet walker and sitter, and taking care of my own pets. I’ll have the free time and consistent schedule to check in and provide care for local pets as well. Safety trust and environment are a must when it comes to pet care. Environmentally I have my eyes peeled for hazards that could harm or cause illness in an animal, and remove those things to where they can’t be a problem. In building trust, I start every interaction with pet psychology in mind. I let them approach me with all of their senses first. Once they become interested in getting to know me, I can continue to show them I’m a safe person through gentle and secure actions on my part like walking carefully and taking softly.

About: If you're looking for a dog-lover and loyal caretaker, I'm here for you and your pet! I'm happy to provide a loving space for your pet while you travel, or walks when needed. I work from home mostly--I am in the office two days a week (every Tuesday and Wednesday.) All other days I am flexible with my schedule. Pets are welcome on my furniture--while they are here, they are free to make themselves comfortable! Playtime, walks and car rides (if they like them) are encouraged.

About: Full-time aunt to Kobe, a silky terrier 6 year-old sassy, well trained boy, with a strong personality. Part-time aunt to all of my friend's animals, cats/dogs, of all shapes and sizes. Super observant of animal behavior in order to understand animals needs. Highly prioritize communicating with owners about their animals, to learn and adapt to animals/owners needs. I enjoy active days, especially with a cool dog to run around or play ball with. I'm also just as good at lounging around as your cat is, if it needs someone to fluff around with, I'm that person too. I can hold down my own, when it comes to extra large sized animals or even the fiercest of them all- the tiny animals. Besides creating a fun environment for your animals, I'm also creating a positive active environment for myself. Nothing makes me happier than cool animals, they are great company. I am a fan of walks as it is, so to have an animal join me in my outdoor adventures sounds like the perfect day to me. I am currently in a space where I am working from home, so it's been nice to have the company from all the animals as well as a reason to get up from my desk during the daily walks. I am quite clean when it comes to animals, so wiping of the paws after entering from the outdoors is on a list of to-do's for me. They do after all, sleep in our beds and walk on our couches. I also do not like ingredients like wheat and filler, so I always make sure to have any/all treats or foods with ingredients that will elongate the life rather than cut it short. I do not actually have the space to board at this time, but I am more than accommodating to keeping animals in their home space to make sure they are in their most comfortable mental state, while their parent/parents are away.

About: At our home we can provide exceptional care for your pet. My husband and I really enjoy the many different breeds and personalities of our guests. We will give them the best care that they're used to, so you won't have to worry while you are away from them. I will send you daily texts, pictures and updates so you can see that your dog is being well-cared for. We live in a single-family home with a fenced-in yard and have a pretty relaxed style in taking care of your pet. My husband and I are retired. We are home most of the day and we spend time with our "guests" to make sure they have a wonderful stay without a lot of anxiety being away from their homes. They are well taken care of and treated like one of the family. We have a fenced in yard and our "guests" enjoy being outside with us. We will play with your pet if they have a ball or favorite toy and enjoy that type of activity. Water is provided at all times.

About: I am a puppy mom in Astoria/LIC, close to many scenic walks and dog parks. I know how important it is (especially with puppies) that you re-enforce positive behaviors and training so your pup comes back behaving how you want them! I have been caring for others dogs (friends, neighbors, coworkers) for the past 10 years and have now successfully raised and train my own dog over the past year. I am also very active and love to run! I am happy to take your pup out with me. My dog Bailey is very friendly, she is already looking forward to play dates with your pup! She is very well socialized and adapts to any level of play that your dog can throw at us!

About: My love for dogs started three years ago when I met a beautiful Frenchton named Dexter. I immediately fell in love. I wanted him to be mine, but I began to care and look after him. Two years later I was fortunate enough to find a French Bulldog of my own and his name is Shado. He is my world and I could not imagine my life without him in it. I am so utterly obsessed that I already want another dog! I am eager to learn more about Shado as he gets bigger and the dogs I will be walking and looking after. About: When your dogs are with me, I'd be pleased to snap pictures or films for you! Their water dish will never run out. Depending on your distance and the cost and location, I can come pick the animal and drop it off. Meet-and-greets are only welcome at my house. I'm limited to bathing. I am capable of giving small to medium-sized pets a bath. Large pets can only take baths in the spring and summer. If it's necessary, I can help with bathing for ten or more dollars. Frequently, it varies based on my schedule and what I'm doing. Do not hesitate to ask me; we can resolve the issue together :) ! Please take note before scheduling, I do require a photo of current vaccinations, including rabies. To help me keep in mind , please remember to bring a list of your dog's characteristics. Kindly provide me with your emergency contact details. Please enter the details for your Rover card. Please provide me with any information I require in order to provide them with the best care possible and ensure their happiness while staying with me. About: i have a dogs all my life and many puppys and senior dogs so i have lots of experience! i love giving dogs brain stimulation like commands and hid and seek with treats Pet care fits into my routine as part of my everyday life. I make time each day for feeding, walks, playtime, and checking on how my pet is feeling. During the week I also handle grooming, cleaning, and making sure everything they need is stocked. About: I have had dogs my entire life and Ive had cats since around the age of 8. Ive been taking care of my now senior cat since she was a kitten and she’s still happy, healthy, and my best friend. Ive also done some pet sitting for my college roommate with her puppy and was able to get him started with sit/stay commands.
