“Erica is a devoted dog lover and sitter. From the very beginning (soon after my initial request) and all throughout her visits, she kept in regular contact and always communicated clearly and kindly. Our dog Ranger never had it so good. About: I have a huge passion for dogs and always have my entire life! My family has owned dogs since before I was born, and we’ve had three over the years. With each of my dogs, I’ve had first hand experience with the puppy stage, all the way up until the senior stage. I’m consistently drawn to every dog I encounter, whether it’s a friend/family’s pet or a random dog on the street! I recently graduated college, and as I search for a full time position I’d love to look after dogs through Rover. Since I’m not currently working, my daily schedule is pretty open and I will be able to take last minute requests as well! I am easily able to accommodate any needs for your dog within your home. Just provide the instructions on how to go about watching them and I’ll do it!

“Allie took such good care of my nervous kitty! Her updates gave me peace of mind during my trip. Can't thank her enough for helping Leo stay on his routine and keeping him safe and well fed!”

About: If you're looking for a dog-lover and loyal caretaker, I'm here for you and your pet! I'm happy to provide a loving space for your pet while you travel, or walks when needed. I work from home mostly--I am in the office two days a week (every Tuesday and Wednesday.) All other days I am flexible with my schedule. Pets are welcome on my furniture--while they are here, they are free to make themselves comfortable! Playtime, walks and car rides (if they like them) are encouraged.

About: I’ve had many pets since I was young, rabbits, dogs, small rodents and hermit crabs. All have been taken care of in a loving home! I have worked on a lot of training with my chiweenie Paige, who is now almost 10. I have pet sit for friends and family many times and love to meet new animals. I am currently a student at Ramapo College so once a schedule is worked out with clients I can be dependable with timing and consistent Though I may not always be able to board dogs depending on the time of year I can learn your routine with your pets and adapt as needed in your household

“Danielle was amazing. She made my cat feel really comfortable and let him take his own time to come to meet her. She had good communication about any issues. Overall she took great care of him and would book her again :)”
About: I offer compassion, patience and understanding. My experience with dogs began as it does for many when I was a child. My grandfather was a dog trainer. He often brought home stray and injured animals. From him, I gained a wealth of knowledge and respect for animals. Throughout my life I have always had various breeds of dog for companionship and have been fascinated with their behavior and psychology. I have been fortunate to experience first hand the stubbornness of English Bulldogs, the hyper activity of Labrador retrievers, and the gentle weight of mastiff's. Beyond the breed specific traits, I found that each and every dog stands as an individual. Just like people, they all have a unique character and needs. I sincerely hope that you may consider me to care for your companion. I am available after 9:00am weekdays and weekends. However special accommodations can be made. My work is remote and allows for a very flexible work schedule. Your dog sees the world through its nose and as such, we will take our time on walks to let them sniff to their heart’s content. Heavy leash pullers are welcome too. During in home care, I adhere to your dog’s daily routines and schedule of feedings, walks, outdoor breaks and medicines when required. Ample playtime and belly rubs are included at no extra charge. Extended park walks and nature hikes can be scheduled to expose your dog to stimulating new environments and experiences.
“Irem does a great job. This is the second time she has taken care of my cats. It’s nice to know that they are in good hands while I’m away and she always leaves things tidy.”

“Alex did a fantastic job checking in on our cat during our vacation. He bonded with her right away and sent us great photos on a regular basis. If you need someone to take of your cat, look no further than Alex.”

About: I’ve had a dog ever since I was seven, which allowed me to gain an understanding of how to care for a dog to keep them happy and healthy. I’ve had many experiences dog sitting with all breeds ages and sizes. I’ve also spent time working at a dog daycare, which allowed me to obtain skills to deal with dogs of all personalities. I operate in a very punctual and reliable manner to give your pets the care they need. I’m currently a college student at Rutgers New Brunswick with a pretty flexible schedule to do drop ins or walks for your pets as needed. I can ensure that your home will stay clean and put together throughout drop-ins or walks for your pet. I can promise clients that their home will look spotless!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Wyckoff with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
