“Thank you so much for keeping Michaela. The daily photos let me know she was in good hands. Thank you for working with me as I am new to this app. Thank you for providing great service.”

“Christina and Nick provided a calm, loving environment for Ziggy. Christina sent daily updates and pictures, and there was no doubt in my mind that Ziggy was being well taken care of. That peace of mind was so appreciated during our time away.”

“Sujanna was great to Sidney and great to work with!! She sent multiple updates and pictures every day. I could tell that Sidney was happy and well cared for. I highly recommend Sujanna as a dog sitter and look forward to using her again.”

“Brittany was excellent! She cared for our dogs like they were her own, which gave us so much peace of mind. We loved receiving daily pictures and updates — it really showed how attentive and caring she is. Her fenced yard made us feel especially comfortable about our dogs’ safety, and she made sure they got outside multiple times each day for exercise, fresh air, and playtime. We couldn’t be happier with the care she provided and would definitely recommend her. Truly kind and caring!”

“Laura and family were fantastic with our older pup Conor. We first did a meet and greet where Laura heard Conor’s needs , asked us questions and took notes. We were kept updated with plenty of of pics and and felt extremely comfortable leaving Conor with this wonderful family . We will use again!”

“Callie loved her stay with Nataliya- - so much so that while we were on a brief vacation, so was Callie ! If there were more than 5 stars to rate Callie’s stay I would. So if you would like you pet to feel like they’re on vacation too, you know who to call :)”

About: I have years of experience in the caretaking of animals and I’ve always done it with love, my family and friends always trusted me to care for their pets since I was younger and i’ve always enjoyed it. I love every part of taking care of animals whether its grooming, bathing oral medications administration etc… Animals will always hold a special place in my heart. My schedule is very flexible, I usually stay home and do online school work most of the time, so I’m available really anytime on weekdays and sometimes on weekends. I will care for the pets by making sure they are well fed, kept clean and healthy. I live in a very safe neighborhood with a nice park down the street. I have an animal friendly household with fences outside to ensure that the pets wont wander off.
“A very honest review: Celeste is absolutely wonderful. I am military and I had to leave on a mission overseas last minute, and she accommodated my needs and my dog’s needs for an extended stay. I will definitely use her services again, she’s a wonderful pet sitter, she’s very communicative and sent me pictures of my dog and an update daily while I was overseas. Her and her family all love pets and are very caring, this shows as my dog gets very excited to see her, her family, and her pets. She treated my dog as if it was her own.”

“Lisa was so loving and caring to Jupi during his stay. She made sure he was never alone and took the extra step to make sure he ate his food given he recently has started requiring add-ons to his regular dry food. She regularly sent me pictures and was always very responsive. Thank you for taking care of Jupi, we will definitely bring him back.”

“Britney was fantastic with our girl, Sydney (14 month old F Cavapoo.) I was able to book her stay with short notice and Britney was very quick to respond, both during the booking & the stay. Sydney is a velcro dog & received all the snuggles she is used to getting at home while staying with Britney & her family.”

“We would give 10 stars if we could! Tricia had our Labrador Retriever/Catahoula Leopard mix Lenny for a little over a week and it was the first time we had ever left him anywhere. At our first meeting, it was clear that Tricia has a tremendous amount of experience and know-how when it comes to dogs, and I knew immediately that we were in great hands. She calmed our nerves and assured us that she would keep us updated while we were away. She helped our guy settle into a routine quickly and she did an extraordinary job handling his food issues (we sent pre-made table food for her to give him). While we were away, she was an excellent communicator and sent us various pictures of him during different times of the day. He looked so happy that we were afraid he wouldn't want to come home! When we picked him up, he was happy, healthy, clean, and showed obvious affection towards Tricia. We are so incredibly relieved that we found her to watch Lenny if and when we need to travel without our boy. With gratitude, from Laura (Lenny's Mom).”

“Yesenia did a great job of looking after Charlie for a few days. He loved playing with her dog as well as other dogs that she was sitting. I highly recommend!”

“Bella loved her stay with Grace and we were very happy with her as well. We felt very comfortable having her with Grace. She kept us informed along the way with texts and pictures. I would definitely recommend her and we will use her again.”

“Marisol and her family go above and beyond to create a loving, safe second home environment for our two dogs in their beautiful resort/house! Don’t be surprised if your pups come home tired from their awesome field trip!”

“Keisy was great dog sitter and very flexible. Due to schedule changes, we were not able to pick her up in time and she was more than happy to watch her for another day. She sent videos/pictures updates and asked what we are ok with our dog doing like getting on the couch, where she sleeps etc. Would hire her again. Thanks!!”

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience boarding our 2 dogs with Camille. Since we were from out of town (we live in Florida), she was willing to board them without first having met my two dogs, which I know isn’t always common. She put our minds at ease by sharing photos of their adventures on a regular basis. Camille listened to our concerns and addressed them in a very professional manner. When we picked them up, it took my dogs a few minutes to realize they were leaving with us. I honestly think they thought this was their forever home and they were just fine with that. I wish we lived closer because I would definitely board my dogs with Camille again!”

“I couldn’t be happier with how Priscilla looked after my dog Piper! She sent lots of pictures and updates. Piper left her very happy! We have already booked Priscilla for our next trip. 5 stars!”

“Bayan was such a friendly host that communicated extremely well. Super fast replies! Our dog stayed with her for about a week over Christmas break and she continuously gave us photo/video updates. We’ll definitely use her again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Wyckoff
Kelly was super responsive and friendly and when we met her you could truly see that she is a dog lover. We felt so comfortable leaving Riley with her and her family. She sent us updates and photos throughout the weekend and she always appeared happy. Riley came home exhausted likely from playing with her doodle companions all weekend. Would highly recommend.

Laura and Kevin were a great fit for my dog. They spent lots of time outdoors which is her favorite place to be. She's an older dog and not use to staying with people she doesn't know. On top of that, she was having intestinal issues and they still happily took her. They kept us updated with lots of check ins and pictures. We will definitely choose them again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
