We are home full time!
Our Experience: Combined we have over 30 years of dog experience, as we both grew up with dogs. We've been pet sitting other people's dogs for a few years now and joined Rover Sept 2021.

Laura and Kevin were a great fit for my dog. They spent lots of time outdoors which is her favorite place to be. She's an older dog and not use to staying with people she doesn't know. On top of that, she was having intestinal issues and they still happily took her. They kept us updated with lots of check ins and pictures. We will definitely choose them again!
Great experience! They took really good care of Quinn and made sure she was happy and comfortable the whole time. I appreciated all the updates and photos - it made me feel at ease while I was at work. Quinn got nice walks and plenty of attention, and it was clear she was in good hands. We’re incredibly grateful to Laura and her family for caring for our dog in late February. Our dog became sick during her stay, and Laura went above and beyond—taking her to our vet to make sure she got the attention she needed. She was also extremely communicative throughout, keeping us updated every step of the way. We truly couldn’t have asked for better care!

Schedule
Our Schedule: We both work from home (it's wonderful). It will be very rare that your pet is ever alone for more than 30 minutes, but if we do have an out of the house activity to do the day of your sit, we'll let you know. Walks: We do not have a fenced in yard but our neighborhood is beautiful! We take the dogs we sit for walks first thing in the AM, after breakfast, after lunch, around 4pm (when the kids get home from school), after dinner, then one more before bed. Runs: If your dog is a runner, s/he can go on a 3 mile run with Laura! Laura runs 3 miles, 3x a week and loves the company.

Safety, trust & environment
Other Dogs: If your dog needs to be the only dog in the home, let us know and we'll check our schedule. Otherwise, we will take up to two dogs at a time, as long as the dogs like other dogs. We have no pets of our own. Lawn Chemicals: We've never used any pesticides or herbicides. We understand that they are linked to cancer in both pets and people. Smoke: Our home is smoke-free and we ask that the dogs also be from smoke-free homes. Hate Has No Home Here: Our home is LGBTQI and BIPOC friendly.
A typical day
Besides lots of walks, dogs who can run 3 miles can go out with Laura when she runs. We also spend a lot of time outside and will have your dog outside with us (on a 30 foot leash) if we are doing yard work or just outside playing.
