About: I am a life-long animal lover. I grew up with dogs, a cat, a rabbit and anything else I could convince my parents to house! I've been riding horses since an early age as well. Connecting with animals has always come very naturally to me. I truly enjoy caring for and loving animals. My first job, at the age of 13, was as a daily after-school dog-walker, for my neighbor's Old English Sheepdog, Winston. That 30 minutes was the highlight of my weekdays. About: I am an experienced dog owner of over 20 years (cats over 10 years). No issue with breed size as I have owned dogs ranging from Bichon size to Rottweilers! Your pets will feel loved and comfortable here in our home. I work from home full time so will have more than enough time to give your pet all of the attention they crave! Walks, play, and feeding times can all be scheduled to your pet's needs. My yard is fully fenced and large enough for fun playtime. My home is large and has wide space for indoor play. About: I am current graduate student at Ramapo college looking for a new way to spend time with dogs (since I can’t get one of my own just yet)! I just ended my time volunteering at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay as a short term volunteer with completing my undergraduate degree. About: I've been a pet owner my whole life. There was always a dog in my home when I was a child. Later on, in my own home had raised two dogs and a cat from their earliest days. My sweet Golden Retriever, Milo, was with me and my kids since he was 10 weeks old. He was amazing! Sadly after a year of being sick and fighting a good fight, it became too much for him. My kids & I said goodbye to him with many tears and such a heaviness in our hearts. It has been sad not seeing his happy face when I come home or unusual to not have to take him out for his nighttime walk. We miss him so much! About: I was raised around all kinds of animals, as my grandparents were true animal lovers. They had everything from chimpanzees and Great Danes to goats, so my love for animals has always been in my blood. I also raised my own Wheaten Terrier for 16 years, and after recently losing him, I’ve really been missing the companionship and love that comes with having a dog around. “We would give 10 stars if we could! Tricia had our Labrador Retriever/Catahoula Leopard mix Lenny for a little over a week and it was the first time we had ever left him anywhere. At our first meeting, it was clear that Tricia has a tremendous amount of experience and know-how when it comes to dogs, and I knew immediately that we were in great hands. She calmed our nerves and assured us that she would keep us updated while we were away. She helped our guy settle into a routine quickly and she did an extraordinary job handling his food issues (we sent pre-made table food for her to give him). While we were away, she was an excellent communicator and sent us various pictures of him during different times of the day. He looked so happy that we were afraid he wouldn't want to come home! When we picked him up, he was happy, healthy, clean, and showed obvious affection towards Tricia. “We had such a great experience with Michaelangelo! We had a last-minute need for someone to watch our almost 2-year-old Boxer, Walter, who is VERY energetic and has some separation anxiety. Michaelangelo said yes without hesitation, which we really appreciated. He has two Pomeranians of his own and a great fenced-in yard where Walter could run around and get all of his energy out. Michaelangelo sent us pictures and updates every day, which really helped us feel comfortable knowing Walter was doing well. He was also very quick to respond anytime I had a question.
