“Melissa was amazing with our 2 cats! They warmed up to her so quickly and she snapped some great photos of them too really capturing their personalities. Great communication and gave us such peace of mind while we were away from our girls for the week. Thank you again Melissa!”

“Liz was great watching my cats! She sent me lots of pictures and spent plenty of time with them to make me feel comfortable while I was away! She even got my shy cat out of her shell in just two visits which made me so happy to see while I couldn’t be there with them. Great communication from her and overall just such a great help while I was gone.”

About: Save on your first visit for any service. I have been pet sitting for friends and neighbors for over 20 years. I grew up with cats and dogs. I love helping animals. About: I have been a dog lover since a young age. My summer schedule is very flexible and I am here for all your walking needs. I am a teacher and available all summer from end of June to end of August. I am local and available after school as well. You run to sports, I walk the dog. I am reliable and always on time. All dogs would be on a leash unless the owner has a fenced in yard and requests the yard over a walk.
“Erica is amazing! She really does treat your pet as if it were her own. She follows instructions and is always attention to every little detail. I would definitely recommend her. If I could give her 100 out of 100 stars I would!”

“I had an amazing experience with Morgan over the Christmas break. She took excellent care of my diabetic cat, ensuring he received his insulin and even administering UTI medication when we discovered he was had a mild UTI. Her attentiveness and care were exceptional, and I would absolutely use her services again!”

“Lara is the best! She truly cares about my cat Millie’s wellbeing, comfort, and happiness while I’m away. I always receive the cutest videos and detailed updates during each visit, which gives me so much peace of mind. Lara is reliable, timely, and goes the extra mile to make sure Millie feels loved and cared for. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!”

About: My love for dogs started three years ago when I met a beautiful Frenchton named Dexter. I immediately fell in love. I wanted him to be mine, but I began to care and look after him. Two years later I was fortunate enough to find a French Bulldog of my own and his name is Shado. He is my world and I could not imagine my life without him in it. I am so utterly obsessed that I already want another dog! I am eager to learn more about Shado as he gets bigger and the dogs I will be walking and looking after. Needless to say that your pet will be in great hands! I care and love for them as you would !
“We had a great experience with Melinda caring for our cat Ramen during our vacation. She communicated clearly and consistently, followed all instructions carefully, and kept our home clean and tidy. She provided wonderful company for our cat, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. We would definitely book her again.”

About: Prior to moving towns I used to pet sit for all of my neighbors. Pets large and small, it didn’t matter but it was always fun. I’m starting my MBA next fall so anything earned on here will go towards that goal of mine! I’ve owned pets for over 12 years and have been taking care of others for 6 so almost all throughout high school and undergrad. I can walk multiple dogs at once, great with elderly animals, experienced with puppies, able to administer pet medication, etc. If you have questions reach out! Currently I am taking two online summer courses for my MBA with Sacred Heart University. I go to the gym 4 times a week and work drop in bartending shifts sometimes on weekends. Since I make my own schedule pet care fits very well into it because I can tailor mine to fit the animals needs! I don’t offer in home care at the moment because my sister recently got hip surgery so I’m waiting until she’s more comfortable to have other peoples pets at home. Otherwise I have two sweet dogs who have coexisted well with pets that I’ve taken care of in the past as well as cats they stay in their own room.
About: I'm a huge animal lover and have had my own pups (a Yorkie and a blue Frenchie), and I currently have a mini Bernedoodle! I have plenty of experience caring for one or multiple pets at a time, as well as overnight care/extended stays. I'm most comfortable caring for puppies, older dogs, and cats, and I'm open to just about anything. I have experience with handling everything from walks and feedings to basic training and medications. Let me know what you're looking for and I'd be happy to help! I live a very active lifestyle and would love some company! My schedule is flexible during the week and my weekends typically look like park runs and pup cups! I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs that would absolutely go for a pupdate! I have a crate and can separate if need be!
“Tatiana was wonderful with my cats and would definitely get her to sit them again. She's very diligent, thorough, and reliable. She goes beyond what is expected of her. Always sent very good pictures, videos, and summary of her time spent with my kitties.”

About: I’ve been lucky enough to have a dog or dogs almost all my life. I also love helping out neighbors & caring for their dogs. I work from home, for the most part, so my schedule is pretty flexible, which also helps to ease the minds of any anxious pups. I have a fenced in yard with lots of space to run around and hang out. My neighborhood is also pretty quiet for nice, safe walks.
About: I love dogs and have had 2 of my own. I also used to foster dogs, and at one time had 8 doggies in my home! I recently lost my 12 year old beagle and am looking to offer my love and time to other people's furry companions. I am available for walks and boarding any time! I work from home so I am able to give lots of love, attention, and walks to your fur baby if they stay with me ❤️ I live in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced in yard. I live in a shared house, with a separate living space. There is a beagle living in the home (he is very friendly!!), but I can keep him completely separated if need be. Your pet's wellbeing is my top priority. 🐾
About: I’ve taken care of my dog Sugar since I was 12 years old, feeding him, walking him, cleaning his crate, and now changing his diaper in his older age. I am very responsible and caring when looking after dogs. After Sugar broke his neck and needed surgery, I helped him eat and take his medicine, as well as holding him in my arms and comforting him. I now take care of two other dogs as well, Rocky and Sparky. When I’m home, I walk Rocky every morning, make sure the dogs are eating and drinking, give them cuddles, and play with them. Also, 2 years ago, I dog sat for two dogs, one of them being an older dog named Lucky that is blind, partially deaf, and diabetic. I made sure to follow all the instructions given on taking care of them and administered Lucky’s insulin shots daily. As I was dog sitting, Lucky had a serious health scare and needed to go to the vet. I was responsible for taking care of him throughout the process, getting in contact with family members, and ensuring that he got the care he needed to recover. Thankfully Lucky is ok, and his family is very grateful to me for the care I provided him while they were away. I am a college student in New Brunswick, so my availability varies on the weekdays, but I have open availability on the weekends. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I am available after 5:30 PM. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays I am available after 3:30 PM I care for pets by following the instructions given to me by their owners and facilitating a caring and welcoming environment. The pets’ well-being is my top priority and I will ensure that they are properly taken care of.
“Christine has been such a blessing for us. We recently brought into our home a wonderful shelter dog who needed a lot of love and attention, and was initially suffering from severe separation anxiety whenever someone would leave the room. It has also been more than 15 years since we've had a dog and needless to say we were rusty. From day 1 of the meet and greet with Christine, our dog Dot immediately felt comfortable around her, our kids listened intently to her suggestions, explanations and stories of her own going through similar experiences. She's provided consistent advice and support (outside the formal drop-in/walking sessions we pay for). She has her own dogs and fosters dogs as well... and it's clear she does not do this for the money, but purely for her love of dogs. She posts updates during every visit, sends pics, cleans up if there's been an accident, and provides ideas/suggestions when she can. I highly recommend her!”

About: Our family dog, Rosie, a beautiful black toy poodle, passed when she was 16 and I was 21. I always took her on walks, fed her, and she slept with me. Ever since Rosie's passing, my family and I aren't ready for another dog, but I miss having one around. When a good friend of mine told me about Rover, I knew I would be the perfect candidate. I'm caring and gentle and every dog I sit will get the proper amount of attention. Dogs are like children, all they need is care and love! I'm currently working with my mom's company, Zoom Rides For Seniors. It a ride share service that focuses on caring for seniors and the disabled. We take seniors to their doctor appointments, the grocery store, wherever their hearts desire. I only do local rides and all of my rides don't take longer than 20 mins and then I come right back home. If I'm not home, Trish will be home since she's the owner and mostly in her office. I don't work after four either. I live in a five bedroom house, plenty of space for your fur baby to roam in. He or she can sleep in their crate in my brother's old room, which is down the hall from me. We do have a massive backyard that goes up on a hill, but we also have a closed deck where the fur baby can freely play and go to the bathroom in. I will probably be going outside on the deck each time as well to watch him or her.

Alexander was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Ranger. He was attentive, responsive, and genuinely caring. I could tell Ranger was in great hands the entire time. Alexander followed all of my instructions carefully and handled small changes to the plan with ease and flexibility. I felt completely at ease knowing Ranger was being so well cared for. I’d highly recommend Alexander.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
