About: With over 8 years of experience in animal care, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of pets—including dogs, cats, rats, and even lizards! I’m confident handling pets of all ages, from playful puppies to senior companions who need a bit of extra TLC. I also have experience administering medications like pills, topical creams, and pet inhalers. I’m always happy to learn your pet’s unique routine and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I’m a second-year student at the University of Minnesota and love spending my free time caring for animals. While my weekday schedule is limited due to classes, I’m fully available on Fridays and would be happy to dedicate that time to pet care. I look forward to meeting new pets and giving them the attention they deserve! Since I care for pets in their own homes, I always try to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I stick to their usual routine—whether that means walks, meals, playtime, or meds—whatever they need to feel at ease. I know how important it is to have someone you trust in your home, so I’m always respectful of your space and do my best to leave things just as I found them (or better!). I’ll also send plenty of photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing and feel reassured while you're away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and try to make the time you're gone as stress-free as possible for both of you.
About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was 10 and went to my neighbors house to feed and take out their labs! I’m great with pets and love to be organized and clean! I have full availability at the moment since I just graduated. I am available whenever I am needed, mornings, afternoons and nights. I have my own transportation. I make sure all the directions I have to do are done. Along with this I play with the pet for a little and tidy up a bit.
“Alexa was great! She was incredibly responsive and took good care of our two kitties while we were away. She kept us updated throughout, and we could tell she genuinely cared about our cats. We would absolutely book her again!”

About: Note: We are currently training our new dog so best services to book are drop-in visits, walks, or sitting at your home. However, some exceptions may be possible for care at our home, feel free to message me to explore, thank you! 👋 Spoil your well-behaved pup in a lap of luxury with a HUGE 1-acre fenced yard that they can roam free in anytime they’d like. Conveniently located just off Route 17, we are a mature, responsible, and drama-free dog auntie and uncle who are both home full time — me as the primary caretaker, and my partner as a backup (if you’d like). It helps make coverage more reliable, and play time feel a lot more like family time for your pup (except no kids). We are not the types to be addicted to our phones because we believe in being present when spending time with fur friends. We also typically don’t take in too many so that we can provide more attention, and be available when you need us. It’s quality over quantity for us! :) Before requesting a stay, please read my “About” section to see if we are a good fit for each other! Ps. I don’t charge if you are late to pickup by a few hours, so don’t worry about that. New Rover Customers: Use my referral link to get $20 off your first service https://www.rover.com/sit/melindac23 I do sometimes get requests to watch pups in NYC but my spouse and I are both currently home in NJ full-time. I believe in mutual respect, gentle care, and transparency, and would treat your pup the same way I would want mine to be cared for. My friends’ furbabies affectionately call me “auntie” :) I understand how being away from your loved one can cause stress or anxiety (unfortunately, we had a bad experience with a sitter once, so I personally relate to this feeling all too well). I can provide multiple updates a day (or less) if you’d like — photos, videos, and even video calls — whatever will help you feel comforted that they are safe and well cared for. We have a unique property, a huge, park-like fully-fenced yard on a cul-de-sac street (but the fence is only 4 ft high, please confirm that your dog cannot jump it). I have a medium size crate if your pups like them. Multiple dog beds throughout the house and no more than 5 stairs anywhere. I’m equipped to take in two dogs at a time, but I don’t have to if you prefer your pup to have a solo stay.
“Sam was reliable and my kitties were well cared for while I was away! He cleaned their many litter boxes daily and even made sure my basil plant was watered outside. Thanks to him I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation.”

About: I've watched countless friends' and family members' pets, as well my own, and currently have an 8 year old Goldendoodle named Gatsby who I adventure with every day. I believe in meeting dogs' full physical and mental needs beyond the minimum. I structure my walks to allow for maximum exercise as well as plenty of mental stimulation like sniffing and exploration. I listen to every dog--each one is very different! I'm a recent graduate on break with a ton of time to hang out with your dogs/cats and am based in the Glen Rock area. I am super gentle and affectionate with all dogs/cats (and animals in general). When at a client's house I make sure to respect the dog's environment and follow the owners' procedures
“Alex did a fantastic job checking in on our cat during our vacation. He bonded with her right away and sent us great photos on a regular basis. If you need someone to take of your cat, look no further than Alex.”

About: Our family dog, Rosie, a beautiful black toy poodle, passed when she was 16 and I was 21. I always took her on walks, fed her, and she slept with me. Ever since Rosie's passing, my family and I aren't ready for another dog, but I miss having one around. When a good friend of mine told me about Rover, I knew I would be the perfect candidate. I'm caring and gentle and every dog I sit will get the proper amount of attention. Dogs are like children, all they need is care and love! I'm currently working with my mom's company, Zoom Rides For Seniors. It a ride share service that focuses on caring for seniors and the disabled. We take seniors to their doctor appointments, the grocery store, wherever their hearts desire. I only do local rides and all of my rides don't take longer than 20 mins and then I come right back home. If I'm not home, Trish will be home since she's the owner and mostly in her office. I don't work after four either. I live in a five bedroom house, plenty of space for your fur baby to roam in. He or she can sleep in their crate in my brother's old room, which is down the hall from me. We do have a massive backyard that goes up on a hill, but we also have a closed deck where the fur baby can freely play and go to the bathroom in. I will probably be going outside on the deck each time as well to watch him or her.
About: I have many decades of experience caring for various dogs and cats. I love them all. I am also a detail-oriented, trustworthy, and dependable person. I have very open availability and a reliable car, so with a few days’ notice, I can fit caring for your pet into my schedule. Safety is my top priority. I make sure everyone has been fed, brushed, litter boxes cleaned out. I also love to hug and love them.
“Cole was great :) he came on time every day and stayed longer than he needed to. He kept an eye out on our kitten that we were so worried about and even weighed him every day for us (since he is recovering from a disease). We came back to a”

“Melissa was amazing with our 2 cats! They warmed up to her so quickly and she snapped some great photos of them too really capturing their personalities. Great communication and gave us such peace of mind while we were away from our girls for the week. Thank you again Melissa!”
