About: Nature, animals and science-- always a huge part of my life! I've been teaching middle school science for 26 years. My classroom animals include a hermit crab, fish, a frog and a tank of Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. At home we have a cat and a fish tank (and over the summer, the school menagerie comes home). I'm a mom to two young men on the autism spectrum; I understand patience and unconditional love. I am teaching my 26th year of middle school science; my classroom is filled with all sort of animals! My availability to care for your baby will be wide open during the summer. Your baby is in good hands with me. Tell me your pet's normal routine (exact feeding times, medication administration, and preferred exercise or walk routes) and it will be followed. As a mom (human and fur babies), I understand the need for security and keeping gates and doors locked securely.

Since I’m around for most of the day at home, I can make sure they’re well taken care of, entertained, and feeling loved while you’re away. At my place or at the owner’s house, I always make sure to give pets the love and care they deserve by providing them with food, fresh water, and plenty of playtime. I also make it a point to follow their instructions on feeding, giving medication, and tending to any special needs. I believe it's important to make the pets feel at ease and secure while also honoring their owners' rules and routines.

About: I started my experience dog walking 2 years ago for a professor’s friend in Winchester, Virginia. Twice a week, I would walk her hyper pups. She then recommended me to her father, whose dog I began walking twice a week as well. From there, my mini business boomed through word of mouth. I began dog sitting in people’s homes as well for multiple individuals for varying time spans. Most of the dogs I interacted with were seniors and required extensive care. However, all dogs owners loved and recommended me to others! I still walk the original dogs and add in others as my schedule allows with two other jobs. I am sad to leave my extensive clientele in Winchester, but I am moving back to New Jersey for graduate school and excited to meet new puppy friends!! For the summertime, I am incredibly flexible with nothing planned. I prefer weekly walks / drop ins, but also like sitting as well. In August, I start physical therapy school at Columbia University so my availability will decrease but I’d be willing to provide services on nights / weekends. During breaks, my availability will open up again! Whenever walking / sitting, I respect the owner’s rules, no matter what. I long to maintain utmost cleanliness and adherence to routine as physically possible. I am also very communicative and honest, building trust with my clients.

About: I love dogs and have had 2 of my own. I also used to foster dogs, and at one time had 8 doggies in my home! I recently lost my 12 year old beagle and am looking to offer my love and time to other people's furry companions. I am available for walks and boarding any time! I live in a shared house, with a separate living space. There is a beagle living in the home (he is very friendly!!), but I can keep him completely separated if need be. About: I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and needs — from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra attention. I’m comfortable with small and large breeds, as well as dogs who may need medication, special care, or extra patience. I rescued my first dog, Lola, a pitbull, in 2017. She was an amazing dog, and as she got older and developed health issues, I learned a lot about caring for senior dogs and pets with extra needs. In 2021, I rescued my second dog, Shadow, a German Shepherd/pitbull mix. He’s currently 9 years old but still has the energy of a puppy — though he’ll never turn down a cuddle. I currently work 3 days a week, 10am-11:30pm, so I wouldn’t be available to work on those days. The days I work changes each week, so please message me for updates on my schedule that week! I would be completely available any day I’m not working my full time job. Please reach out with any questions! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always do my best to keep them comfortable by sticking to their normal routine. I will follow feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications, and bedtime routines exactly as instructed. I understand that being away from their owners can be stressful for some pets, so I make sure they get plenty of attention, patience, and affection while keeping their environment clean and safe.

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats since i was 15. I’ve watched multiple from the same house at once and stayed the night when necessary. I love animals and going for walks so the pets and I always have fun:) I’m currently working part time tues, thurs, fri from 9-3 so i’ll have plenty of time every evening and weekend to take care of pets My house is fenced in with an additional dog run along the side of the house for extra safety to use the bathroom.
