About: Nature, animals and science-- always a huge part of my life! I've been teaching middle school science for 26 years. My classroom animals include a hermit crab, fish, a frog and a tank of Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. At home we have a cat and a fish tank (and over the summer, the school menagerie comes home). I'm a mom to two young men on the autism spectrum; I understand patience and unconditional love. I am teaching my 26th year of middle school science; my classroom is filled with all sort of animals! My availability to care for your baby will be wide open during the summer. Your baby is in good hands with me. Tell me your pet's normal routine (exact feeding times, medication administration, and preferred exercise or walk routes) and it will be followed. As a mom (human and fur babies), I understand the need for security and keeping gates and doors locked securely.

About: I'm a life long cat lover who never seems to have enough space for the menagerie of cats that I would love to own. Pet-sitting is the next best thing! I have raised & loved several cats through their entire lives as newborns into their maturity. I am currently a Cat Mom to two males in a May/December relationship (3yr old/9 yr old). I recently lost my 12 year old beagle and am looking to offer my love and time to other people's furry companions. I am available for walks and boarding any time! Since I’m around for most of the day at home, I can make sure they’re well taken care of, entertained, and feeling loved while you’re away. At my place or at the owner’s house, I always make sure to give pets the love and care they deserve by providing them with food, fresh water, and plenty of playtime. I also make it a point to follow their instructions on feeding, giving medication, and tending to any special needs. About: I started my experience dog walking 2 years ago for a professor’s friend in Winchester, Virginia. Twice a week, I would walk her hyper pups. She then recommended me to her father, whose dog I began walking twice a week as well. From there, my mini business boomed through word of mouth. I began dog sitting in people’s homes as well for multiple individuals for varying time spans. Most of the dogs I interacted with were seniors and required extensive care. However, all dogs owners loved and recommended me to others! I still walk the original dogs and add in others as my schedule allows with two other jobs. I am sad to leave my extensive clientele in Winchester, but I am moving back to New Jersey for graduate school and excited to meet new puppy friends!! For the summertime, I am incredibly flexible with nothing planned. I prefer weekly walks / drop ins, but also like sitting as well. In August, I start physical therapy school at Columbia University so my availability will decrease but I’d be willing to provide services on nights / weekends. During breaks, my availability will open up again! Whenever walking / sitting, I respect the owner’s rules, no matter what. I long to maintain utmost cleanliness and adherence to routine as physically possible. I am also very communicative and honest, building trust with my clients.
