“Lillian did a great job for my cat. She uploaded a lot of videos while she was taking care of the cat. While my cat is shy and usually afraid of new people, he quickly got along with Lillian.”

About: Open, adaptable daytime schedule that allows for prompt visits without rushing through routine care. Prompt, detailed updates after every walk or drop in, so you know exactly how your pet is doing while you're away. As a student with an extremely flexible and light class schedule, pet care is my primary focus. I’m available throughout most of the day for midday dog walks, routine drop in visits, and last minute requests. Because I am not tied to a traditional 9-to-5 job, I can match your dog or cat’s exact schedule for feeding, exercise, and playtime without rushing I provide attentive, reliable care right in your pet's safe environment. For drop in visits, I handle all feeding, fresh water, litter box or yard cleanup, and plenty of undivided attention. For dog walking, I tailor the pace and route to your dog's energy level, making sure they get safe exercise and mental stimulation. I always double check locked doors, secure leashes, and send detailed photo updates before I leave so you have complete peace of mind.
“This was the first time using Rover. I was a bit nervous, but Christina and Nick made me feel comfortable. They followed instructions, my two fur babies were happy, and I could fully enjoy my time away without worrying. Highly recommend. Thank you, Christina and Nick. Enjoyed the daily photos and updates. 💖”

“Andrew always comes in clutch at the last minute! I’ve used Andrew in the past and Timo already knows that when Andrew comes by it’s play time! As always Andrew is communicative, punctual and focused on full attention for Timo while he is here. Couldn’t recommend Andrew enough!”

“Nicole was great with our 2 cats! She messaged us with general updates and any concerns or questions that she had so we could be aware of what was going on. She also sent pictures from all of her drop-in visits! 10/10!”

“I always feel at ease having Bryndon check up on my pup. I always worry since a corso is not an easy dog to manage but he always has tons of fun with Bryndon. I also enjoy all the cute pics I get :) he’s very respectful of our house rules too”

“I had such a great experience with Jinghong! My dog is usually pretty skittish around new people, but he warmed up to her almost immediately. Jinghong has such a calm, patient energy that dogs naturally trust. She is reliable, communicative, and sends the sweetest updates and photos during and after each visit. I feel completely at ease knowing my pup is with her. If you have a shy, reactive, or sensitive dog, I highly recommend Jinghong. She has been such a great match for my dog .”

About: I’ve had animals my whole life. First cats and then dogs. I grew up with 3 small dogs from when I was 6 until they passed away. At the end they were old ladies- one was diabetic and blind and the other had an array of health issues. Now my partner and I have two puppies, both around 30 lbs expected to be around 50. Animals make life better. I am currently working part time and have lots of time at home with the pups! i love animals more than anything, so they are always the priority in my days. We go to the dog park, go on lots of walks and even go swimming on the weekends! I have a very flexible schedule. I am well versed in crate and pad training. We have been training our puppies on how to walk on a leash as well as different tricks (stay being the most important).
About: Exceptional care for dogs of all breeds. Truely a dog lover that will give your dog all the attention it needs and deserves! I am very flexible and active, what else would you want in a dog sitter! I have owned a dog my entire life and anyone who has a dog turns to me first to ask if I can watch their dogs! People would nickname me “an animal whisperer” as I seem to get along with all dogs difficult or not. I’ve dealt with the sweetest to aggressive pups! No matter the size, I am confident that I am capable to care and love your dog as needed! You’ll be passing up a great opportunity! Once your dog meets me you’ll forget passed sitters!
About: I have spent my entire life around animals. My home has been shared with cats, dogs, snakes, birds, a rabbit, an iguana. I was also a veterinarian assistant for over a year. I took care of any and every animal that walked through our doors; cats, dogs, ferrets, birds, rabbits. Animals of all sizes. I walked, fed, bathed and cleaned up after them. I cared for them as if they were my own and will continue to do so with every animal entrusted to my care! I am currently working from home but my schedule can be flexible. My daily job and walk times work around each other so please notify me at least 3 days in advance of your booking date and I will try my best to make it work for you! As stated on my profile, I have a strict 7 day cancellation policy applied and it is automatically enforced by the Rover app. This is due to the nature of my day job as I may need to adjust those hours when scheduling a booking of any kind. Please be mindful of this, thank you. I always make sure their sleeping area is clean and tidy and I always make sure there is available fresh water. Food is given at a schedule dependent on the individuals needs. I give plenty of time for play/attention to ensure that they always feel loved and never lonely. Sometimes they want to be left alone and I respect that as well.

About: As a teacher, patience, responsibility, and clear communication are part of my everyday life, and I bring those same qualities to pet care. I have two dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I'm comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities and energy levels, whether they love long walks, playtime, or just relaxing with company. I pay close attention to each pet's routine, follow care instructions carefully, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. During the summer I am working less hours I am available Monday- Friday after 3 pm and the weekends I am free all day. Caring for my own two dogs is already part of my daily routine, so looking after other pets fits in naturally. For dog walks, I make sure each walk matches your dog's energy level and routine, whether they enjoy a leisurely stroll or a more active outing. During drop-in visits I am capable of doing anything that is needed to care for your dogs needs.
“Nicholas was great with my English Bulldog Arlo, who can sometimes be stubborn with new people. He showed up promptly on time for our scheduled Drop-In visits which allowed me to enjoy my vacation knowing my dog was Comfortable in his own house while still getting cared for. Would recommend Nicholas to anyone.”

About: I had a cat for 6 years and plenty of experience handling and taking care of dogs - I volunteered in an animal shelter with dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens for 4 years. I am 5’7” and relatively strong so I am also able to handle larger dogs (no pulling that leash away on my watch!). I have 3 years of experience as an EMT, so in case of an unexpected accident I am able to provide emergency first aid if necessary (helping a pet often involves the same basics as helping a person!) I have a lot of availability at the moment. Weekdays and weekends are nearly always free, especially for walking and check-ins. I love to be outside and walk/run, especially with dogs. I don't have any pets living with me right now, so I will be free to focus on yours. I am active and love taking dogs for a walk or run anywhere and for however long they need.

“Best pet service!! I’m truly happy I found Diane and was able to have her taken care of my two kitties while I was gone for vacation. Jinghong was seriously the best! 🥹❤️ She took such amazing care of Ara and Maru, and I could tell right away that she genuinely cared about them. I loved getting daily videos and updates—it really gave me peace of mind while I was away. She even kept me updated on their litter box habits and poop, which I really appreciated because it showed how attentive she was to every little detail. 😂🐱 Ara and Maru looked so happy and comfortable with her, and that means everything to me. I’m so grateful I found someone I can trust with my babies! 100% recommend Jinghong, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future! 🐾💕

Lillian was absolutely wonderful with our two Shih Tzus, Smokey and Bandit. From our initial meet-and-greet to a last-minute request for a walk and feeding, she was professional, reliable, and incredibly easy to communicate with. She kept us updated, responded promptly, and gave us complete peace of mind knowing our dogs were in great hands. It was clear that she genuinely cared for Smokey and Bandit, and they were happy and well cared for every time she looked after them. We highly recommend Lillian to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable, and caring dog sitter. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again!

Liz was great watching my cats! She sent me lots of pictures and spent plenty of time with them to make me feel comfortable while I was away! She even got my shy cat out of her shell in just two visits which made me so happy to see while I couldn’t be there with them. Great communication from her and overall just such a great help while I was gone.

Erica is a devoted dog lover and sitter. From the very beginning (soon after my initial request) and all throughout her visits, she kept in regular contact and always communicated clearly and kindly. Our dog Ranger never had it so good. She kept us updated with photos of his activities and the love and care she provided. We'll definitely have her back. She has our highest recommendation!

Honest feedback here - I was a little hesitant in using Xavier as he was young without too many years of experience, but I was in a bind and my last two sitters flaked - I saw that he was rated as a star sitter though with great reviews, so moved forward here and I am so glad I did. His communication skills are above the charts. He is extremely responsive, communicates very well (seems to truly care about your pets and their needs) and was always great about texting updates and photos - Too boot, he was extremely accommodating as the drive was a bit far, but he knew I was in a bind and took the job without hesitation - Moreover, he was very punctual and came at the times I needed him too. I can't tell you how nice it was to come home after my trip to a home where it was very easy to see my babies were well looked after and taken care of - Lastly, he has very good energy and I felt good leaving my babies in his hands even though was a stranger -

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
