About: I’ve had animals my whole life. First cats and then dogs. I grew up with 3 small dogs from when I was 6 until they passed away. At the end they were old ladies- one was diabetic and blind and the other had an array of health issues. Now my partner and I have two puppies, both around 30 lbs expected to be around 50. Animals make life better. I am currently working part time and have lots of time at home with the pups! i love animals more than anything, so they are always the priority in my days. We go to the dog park, go on lots of walks and even go swimming on the weekends! I have a very flexible schedule. I am well versed in crate and pad training. We have been training our puppies on how to walk on a leash as well as different tricks (stay being the most important).

About: I had a cat for 6 years and plenty of experience handling and taking care of dogs - I volunteered in an animal shelter with dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens for 4 years. I am 5’7” and relatively strong so I am also able to handle larger dogs and some pulling. I have 3 years of experience as an EMT, so in case of an unexpected accident I am able to provide emergency first aid if necessary (helping a pet often involves the same basics as helping a person!) I have a lot of availability at the moment. Weekdays and weekends are nearly always free, especially for walking and check-ins. I love to be outside and walk/run, especially with dogs. Honest feedback here - I was a little hesitant in using Xavier as he was young without too many years of experience, but I was in a bind and my last two sitters flaked - I saw that he was rated as a star sitter though with great reviews, so moved forward here and I am so glad I did. His communication skills are above the charts. He is extremely responsive, communicates very well (seems to truly care about your pets and their needs) and was always great about texting updates and photos - Too boot, he was extremely accommodating as the drive was a bit far, but he knew I was in a bind and took the job without hesitation - Moreover, he was very punctual and came at the times I needed him too.
