About: As a teacher, patience, responsibility, and clear communication are part of my everyday life, and I bring those same qualities to pet care. I have two dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I'm comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities and energy levels, whether they love long walks, playtime, or just relaxing with company. I pay close attention to each pet's routine, follow care instructions carefully, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. During the summer I am working less hours I am available Monday- Friday after 3 pm and the weekends I am free all day. Caring for my own two dogs is already part of my daily routine, so looking after other pets fits in naturally. For dog walks, I make sure each walk matches your dog's energy level and routine, whether they enjoy a leisurely stroll or a more active outing. During drop-in visits I am capable of doing anything that is needed to care for your dogs needs.

About: After moving from the UK and recently adopting a little pup from 10 weeks who’s now just under a year old, I’ve had lots of experience training, caring for and playing with energetic dogs! With dogs all throughout my childhood including my springer spaniel Meg, I will always look after your pup as if it were my own, tailoring the energy to exactly what they need. I’m available to walk your dog, have a play with them in your home or mine, or just drop in and feed them! I’m able to look after your pup on my days off from work so I can give them full care and attention! My husband also works from home regularly so will have lots of presence and get plenty of walks and plays in the area around you or our place. I am happy to look after your pup however you need for your home - playing in the yard, relaxing in the living room or just out on a walk, I can always be flexible!

About: Ever since I was little my family and I have been a dog household. I love all types of dogs. I’ve personally had a German Shepard, Yorkie, Maltipoo and a Staffy/Pitt mix! In my free time I watch my friend’s pups when they go away. I love walking dogs and just playing with them at home! Dog company is the BEST company in my opinion:) I work M-F, 7-3pm. I’m typically available in the evenings unless I have something scheduled previously. My weekends are very flexible as I don’t work. I have a pet friendly apartment in Hackensack, NJ. My neighborhood has MANY dogs who get walked daily. I also have a lovely, close knit dog park in the neighborhood as well. I have a balcony in my apartment that the pup can sit outside and hang out if they’d like. I allow dogs to sit on the couch and bed with me if they’d like as well. I have a dog bowl and treats for when my family dog or friends dogs come to visit if needed.

“Honest feedback here - I was a little hesitant in using Xavier as he was young without too many years of experience, but I was in a bind and my last two sitters flaked - I saw that he was rated as a star sitter though with great reviews, so moved forward here and I am so glad I did. His communication skills are above the charts. He is extremely responsive, communicates very well (seems to truly care about your pets and their needs) and was always great about texting updates and photos - Too boot, he was extremely accommodating as the drive was a bit far, but he knew I was in a bind and took the job without hesitation - Moreover, he was very punctual and came at the times I needed him too. I can't tell you how nice it was to come home after my trip to a home where it was very easy to see my babies were well looked after and taken care of - Lastly, he has very good energy and I felt good leaving my babies in his hands even though was a stranger -”

About: What sets me apart is my experience caring for animals of all ages and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Last summer, I independently took care of my friend’s four dogs for an entire month, which included overnight stays and house sitting responsibilities. The dogs ranged from 1 to 10 years old, so I’m comfortable handling both energetic younger dogs and older dogs who may need extra patience and care. I’ve also been taking care of my own dog since I was 8 years old, giving me years of hands-on experience with daily care, walks, feeding, and attention. In addition, I have experience caring for less than week-old kittens on my own, which taught me how attentive, gentle, and responsible I need to be when caring for animals. During the school year, I attend school, but I have a very flexible schedule with my classes and plenty of availability before and after school as well as on weekends. During the summer, when I plan to do more pet sitting and dog walking, my schedule will be very open and flexible. I’m able to work around pet owners’ needs and can provide walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, and overnight care at a variety of times throughout the day. I’m very reliable, responsive, and committed to making sure pets stay on their normal routines and feel comfortable while in my care. I currently do not offer boarding or pet sitting in my own home due to having pets of my own, but I’m very comfortable caring for pets in their own home where they feel safest and most comfortable. I always make it a priority to keep pets on their normal routines by following feeding schedules, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, medication instructions if needed, and giving them lots of attention and care while their owners are away. I have experience caring for both cats and dogs of different ages, including nursing less than week-old kittens and independently caring for four dogs for a month while house sitting. I understand how important trust and safety are when leaving your pets with someone, and I always make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and well cared for at all times.

About: I grew up with a senior Yorkie and learned to be reliable, patient, and attentive. I provide personalized care for pets of all ages, including energetic puppies and senior pets needing extra support. My time is mostly open but I am available on weekdays during the morning and afternoon. Weekends saturday and Sunday can be free and evening if needed. Our apartment has a private fenced dog park that we are able to enter. I am also able to follow each pet's normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I provide fresh food and water and regular potty breaks. I can keep owners updated with photos and messages, and make sure both the pet and home are safe, clean, and well cared for.

About: I have spent my entire life around animals. My home has been shared with cats, dogs, snakes, birds, a rabbit, an iguana. I was also a veterinarian assistant for over a year. I took care of any and every animal that walked through our doors; cats, dogs, ferrets, birds, rabbits. Animals of all sizes. I walked, fed, bathed and cleaned up after them. I cared for them as if they were my own and will continue to do so with every animal entrusted to my care! I am currently working from home but my schedule can be flexible. My daily job and walk times work around each other so please notify me at least 3 days in advance of your booking date and I will try my best to make it work for you! As stated on my profile, I have a strict 7 day cancellation policy applied and it is automatically enforced by the Rover app. This is due to the nature of my day job as I may need to adjust those hours when scheduling a booking of any kind. Please be mindful of this, thank you. I always make sure their sleeping area is clean and tidy and I always make sure there is available fresh water. Food is given at a schedule dependent on the individuals needs. I give plenty of time for play/attention to ensure that they always feel loved and never lonely. Sometimes they want to be left alone and I respect that as well.
