“Joe was great with our cat, Grits and very communicative while we were away. We came back to a happy cat and everything as we left it. Thank you so much for the peace of mind on our trip, Joe!”

“Chloe is amazing! My super shy cat warmed up to her and was waiting for her at the door by the end of her visit. I would recommend her 10/10 to anyone. She provided peace of mind and was thorough with her photos and communication. Thank you Chloe!!”

“I cannot recommend Cathy B. highly enough- dependable, affectionate with my beloved pet- gave me peace of mind to take a brief break with no worries. You can't go wrong here!”

“We felt very lucky to found Raquel as our cat sitter. She was very reliable and easy to communicate. She also took cute cat photos. Highly recommend!”

“Christine has been such a blessing for us. We recently brought into our home a wonderful shelter dog who needed a lot of love and attention, and was initially suffering from severe separation anxiety whenever someone would leave the room. It has also been more than 15 years since we've had a dog and needless to say we were rusty. From day 1 of the meet and greet with Christine, our dog Dot immediately felt comfortable around her, our kids listened intently to her suggestions, explanations and stories of her own going through similar experiences. She's provided consistent advice and support (outside the formal drop-in/walking sessions we pay for). She has her own dogs and fosters dogs as well... and it's clear she does not do this for the money, but purely for her love of dogs. She posts updates during every visit, sends pics, cleans up if there's been an accident, and provides ideas/suggestions when she can. I highly recommend her!”

About: I have been caring for dogs since we got our own pet dog when I was 8. Since then, we have fostered many puppies, and I have become a volunteer raiser and sitter for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. I have lots of experience with different kinds of pet care for all kinds of different pets. I am home from college for the summer, so I have free time throughout the day to tend to your pets! I am available for house sitting, home visits, or walking your pet any day of the week! I am familiar with exercising and entertaining pets, or practicing any training you may request. I also make a great snuggle buddy for your pets whether on the furniture or on the floor :)

About: Schools out! I have availability all day long. With over 20 years if experience for dogs of all sizes and needs, I would love to spend my summer helping with caring for pets and walking them! I have no allergies, daily availability, and would love to keep your pets happy and healthy this summer!! I make my schedule throughout the summer and would love to fill some of that time keeping your pets happy and healthy in the summer! I respect and follow all if any directions from the owner. I will make sure to take care of their dog and be sure what is asked of me is completed.

“Took great care of our little friends”

About: I have worked for a doggy daycare/boarding establishment for over a year. I have also been pet sitting for family and friends for almost 3 years. Have experience working with multiple different breeds. I work at a doggy daycare/boarding establishment every weekend. During the week I take care of my own dog when my parents are at work. I like to let the pet get comfortable around me and come up to me whenever they feel ready. Once we have established a trusting relationship I will take them on walks and/or play with them and feed them!

“Thank you, Victoria, for last-minute cat care. We are glad to know Callie had you to give her food, love, and attention. You are great!”

About: Note: We are currently training our new dog so best services to book are drop-in visits, walks, or boarding at your home. However, some exceptions may be possible for care at our home, feel free to send me a message to discuss, thank you! 👋 Spoil your well-behaved pup in a lap of luxury with a HUGE 1-acre fenced yard that s/he can roam free in anytime they’d like. Conveniently located just off Route 17, we are a mature, responsible, and drama-free dog auntie and uncle who are both home full time. Before requesting a stay, please read my “About” section to see if we are a good fit for each other! Ps. I don’t charge if you are late to pickup by a few hours, I can be flexible for pickups. New Rover Customers: Use my referral link to get $20 off your first service https://www.rover.com/sit/melindac23 I do sometimes get requests to watch pups in NYC but I’m currently home in NJ full-time. The care I provide is the same level of care I used to provide for my own dog. My friends’ furbabies affectionately call me “auntie” :) I understand how being away from your loved one can cause stress or anxiety (unfortunately, we had a bad experience with a sitter once, so I personally relate to this feeling all too well). I can provide multiple updates a day (or less) if you’d like — photos, videos, and even video calls — whatever will help you feel that s/he is safe and well cared for. We have a unique property, a huge, park-like fully-fenced yard on a cul-de-sac street (but the fence is only 4 ft high, please confirm that your dog cannot jump it). I have a medium size crate if your pups like them. Multiple dog beds throughout the house and no more than 5 stairs anywhere. I’m equipped to take in two dogs at a time, but I don’t have to if you prefer your pup to have a solo stay.

About: Chris is a local firefighter and EMT, and Ellen is a fourth grade teacher. Chris grew up with dogs and cats, while Ellen had cats and got her first dog when she was engaged to Chris. Currently we have a black lab pup named Whitley and two rescued cats, in addition to our two animal-loving human kiddos. Whitley is always looking for playmates! Chris has a rotating work schedule, and depending on your needs is very available certain days and nights. He would love to help you with your pet care needs as long as he is off-duty that day or days. We have a fenced in yard with a lot of space to run around. Inside we have a double crate - Whitley uses one side and the other side is currently available. They would be separated but close to each other. Whitley is generally out of the crate while we are home but can be kept in one gated room if needed. We are willing to adapt to your needs when caring for your pet.

“Leigh is amazing! She took excellent care of our two fur babies. Right off the bat on the first meet and greet, we got an excellent first impression. She was friendly and brought them homemade amazing treats! When our trip came, she was in constant contact with us and sent so many wonderful pictures. We were able to relax and enjoy our trip with the knowledge that our pups were safe and cared for. Leigh is a rockstar.”

“Sam was reliable and my kitties were well cared for while I was away! He cleaned their many litter boxes daily and even made sure my basil plant was watered outside. Thanks to him I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs my entire life from friends and family pets to my own. I’m that person who stops anyone who has a dog so I can pet them — I also have a habit of speaking to them as if they’re human. 😂 I love animals dearly and will care for your babies as if they were my own. Overnight boarding works for me because I am a Stay at Home Mother to two wonderful kids. They’re 4 and 6 years old and both love animals and fully understand that we treat animals with respect and to be gentle with them. As for walks/drop ins, the best times would be early morning until 2:00PM. Once I pick up the kids from school, I would be able to work 4:30PM-9PM. I will always try to accommodate days and times for you! We take our dog out up to 4 times/day and sometimes she just hangs out in our backyard. Some walks are longer than others. I offer 30 min, 45 min, and 60 min walks — within the timeframe stated above. Our first dog ever sadly passed away a few years ago but we still have our other ”baby” living. She is a 11 year old King Charles Cavalier and she definitely lives up to the royalty name for her breed! We love to cuddle, lounge around the house and play with the many toys we have, and of course going out on walks. Your furry loved one will join our family in any outing or activity that allow pets. If not, they will never be left alone for more than 2-3 hours. As a Mother and before motherhood, I have always been highly aware of my surroundings. I never approach other dogs/animals unless I confirm with the owner that it’s okay and I see myself how your loved one is reacting. Our home is our/your dogs home as well and is allowed to be anywhere in our home. We are a crate-free family and we absolutely do not accept aggressive behavior towards your loved ones, such as yanking or spanking. We practice gentle parenting with our children and that is the same for our pets. They will receive respect, patience, and lots of love. Looking forward to meeting you and your pups!! Please refer to Bio! We love to go for walks, run around, and explore! We play fetch outdoors and inside and lots of cuddles! We live in a wonderful and safe neighborhood for our walks. *My walks are 35min! *Dropoff and pickup times before 8am or after 10pm will incur a $20 fee *A late, nonscheduled pickup time that goes beyond the 2 hours agreed time, will be charged the daycare rate of $60. This is for scheduling and insurance purposes, thank you for understanding! We love to go for walks, run around, and explore! We play fetch outdoors and inside and lots of cuddles! We live in a wonderful and safe neighborhood for our walks.

Knowing our dog is in loving, familiar hands gives us complete peace of mind. She makes sure all of his needs were met, walks, meals, playtime, and plenty of cuddles.
