About: I've been a pet owner my whole life. There was always a dog in my home when I was a child. Later on, in my own home had raised two dogs and a cat from their earliest days. My sweet Golden Retriever, Milo, was with me and my kids since he was 10 weeks old. He was amazing! Sadly after a year of being sick and fighting a good fight, it became too much for him. My kids & I said goodbye to him with many tears and such a heaviness in our hearts. It has been sad not seeing his happy face when I come home or unusual to not have to take him out for his nighttime walk. We miss him so much! I would love to be able to share my love that I had for him with the caring of another dog. I'm home during the day which allows me to have the time to devote to your dogs.i also have two teenage kids who are able to walk and play with him. I live on a quiet dead end street with hardly any cars coming through. I have a nice sized yard which is great for playing and taking in the suns rays(my dog would love to just roll his body over in the grass...lol). Growing up with dogs taught me how to understand their personalities, keep them safe, and make sure they get the exercise, attention, and love they deserve. Being away at college means I don’t get to spend as much time with dogs as I’d like, which is why I’m excited to help care for yours! In the summer, the pool is not covered, and my oldest dog loves to go swimming or take a quick step in to cool off. You may want to book daycare before a longer stay so your dog gets used to our home. It is important that your dog is well behaved and is not aggressive or reactive to other dogs. Our cat keeps to himself most of the day. We live in a single family home with a fenced-in yard (6' high PVC) and 1 friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. We also have a XL crate that can be used if your dogs prefers. The cat litter is kept in a room blocked off by pet gates where only the cat will have access.

About: I am current graduate student at Ramapo college looking for a new way to spend time with dogs (since I can’t get one of my own just yet)! I just ended my time volunteering at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay as a short term volunteer with completing my undergraduate degree.
