About: Hi! My name is Amy, and I’m a rising sophomore at Boston College. I’ve lived with dogs since I was 8 years old, so caring for them has always been a part of my life. Growing up with dogs taught me how to understand their personalities, keep them safe, and make sure they get the exercise, attention, and love they deserve. Being away at college means I don’t get to spend as much time with dogs as I’d like, which is why I’m excited to help care for yours! I look forward to giving your pup a fun, safe time and making sure you have peace of mind while they’re in my care. I am currently home for the summer, and am available and flexible. I do have some work and family events that I have blocked off on my calendar, but other than that, I am open to bookings! I have a very large, fenced in yard with a pool. In the summer, the pool is not covered, and my oldest dog loves to go swimming or take a quick step in to cool off. We have a variety of toys and dog beds in our house, and we also have two sets of dog gates.

About: I am current graduate student at Ramapo college looking for a new way to spend time with dogs (since I can’t get one of my own just yet)! I just ended my time volunteering at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay as a short term volunteer with completing my undergraduate degree. In the past I have worked at a dog daycare taking care of 15-20 dogs at a time. I pet sit for friends and family all the time but I am looking to meet new furry friends. I’m currently working part-time and attending school full-time on two nights a week. During the week, I have some nights free, and before classes, I have mornings and afternoons free! I will not offer in-home services as I have a family pet that does not get along well with other dogs, but does great with humans.

About: Animals have been a part of my life since childhood, from our show dog who was an Irish Wolfhound to being a rescue mom to smaller terriers. I have cared for horses, chickens, bunnies which included pets with special handicaps. With deep empathy and natural connection, I understand animals on an intuitive level. I have trained puppies, comforted seniors and welcomed countless creatures who somehow find their way to my home. Your pet will find a home away from home here with me, safe, loving-and I look forward to offering the same love I show all animals to your beloved pet. All the animals in my home live in harmony together. Some visitors marvel at that fact but it's how I treat each animal with love and care that fosters this environment. All needs are met and everyone is happy! I am home during the day and available to provide attentive care for your pet. I may step out briefly for errands or other chores but will ensure your pet's needs are fully met and they get plenty of company and care. Our home is on one acre with a fenced in yard and great area for walking with lots of trees in a peaceful setting. I have a senior dog (17 yo) that loves company. We also have cats which are friendly and curious.

I currently have a flexible schedule that allows me to be home for the majority of the day. While I occasionally step out for personal errands or appointments, it’s typically only for short periods (generally no more than a few hours). My schedule allows me to provide plenty of companionship, attention, and care throughout your dog’s stay. I provide a safe, welcoming environment with a fenced yard, an enclosed deck, and a quiet neighborhood that’s perfect for walks. Since I specialize in small dogs, they’re never left unattended outdoors and are always closely supervised.

I’ve been in love with animals of all kind for as long as I can remember, driving me to pursue this degree! While at Rutgers, I gained hands-on experience working with horses, cows, goats, sheep, and pigs on the university farm. Additionally, I’ve spent over five years as a veterinary assistant and surgical nurse at a pet hospital, specializing in the care of cats and dogs. I’m proficient in administering oral medications and subcutaneous or intramuscular injections. I also have experience with chemotherapy medications, having cared for my dog, who has had a bladder tumor for nearly three years. I share my home with a grumpy 14-year-old Bichon Frise/Shih-Tzu and a 4-year-old Scottish Fold cat with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, whom I rescued during my time at the veterinary clinic. My love for animals knows no bounds, and I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own! With a passion for animals and years of experience, I offer a range of services including dog walking, overnight care, and pet sitting!
