About: Hi! My name is Roisin and I have unwittingly become the go-to dogsitter for family and friends alike. I have watched a variety of dogs — very large ones who need lots of exercise, dogs with nervous stomachs, and 4-month old puppies who needed frequent potty trips in the middle of the night. While housesitting, I make a strong effort to maintain your pet’s routine — including feeding, treats (or lack thereof), walks, medication, and time playing. I am a full-time teacher, so most of my care is best scheduled for afternoons and evenings. On the weekends, I am much more able to keep my schedule open but altogether, I try to be flexible! I think it’s super important for dogs to be played with and given TLC while their families are away. It’s one thing to refill water bowls and take a dog for a walk, and an entirely other thing to make the dog feel at ease and loved. I make it a priority to spend time playing fetch or simply cuddling so you can rest knowing your dog is happy! When housesitting, I make it a goal to keep your house as you would like it! I tidy daily and will strip beds and do a deep clean of the areas I used prior to your arrical home.

Besides creating a fun environment for your animals, I'm also creating a positive active environment for myself. Nothing makes me happier than cool animals, they are great company. I am a fan of walks as it is, so to have an animal join me in my outdoor adventures sounds like the perfect day to me. I am currently in a space where I am working from home, so it's been nice to have the company from all the animals as well as a reason to get up from my desk during the daily walks. I am quite clean when it comes to animals, so wiping of the paws after entering from the outdoors is on a list of to-do's for me. They do after all, sleep in our beds and walk on our couches. I also do not like ingredients like wheat and filler, so I always make sure to have any/all treats or foods with ingredients that will elongate the life rather than cut it short. I do not actually have the space to board at this time, but I am more than accommodating to keeping animals in their home space to make sure they are in their most comfortable mental state, while their parent/parents are away.
