About: Hi! I’m Lindsay, a 19-year-old college student originally from New Jersey. Some things about me that I do on my free time is going on runs, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family. I’ve been around animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. Growing up, my family always had dogs, and now currently have a tabby cat. I’ve frequently helped care for pets belonging to friends and relatives as well. I will always enjoy spending time with pets whether it be on a walk or just hanging out with them to keep company! I also have been caring for pets through a different app as well providing walks, sittings, drop ins, etc with a 5 star rating! The same love and attention I give to my pet will be the same for yours! I’m currently working part-time at Ben And Jerry’s. Usually Mondays, Thursdays, Friday, Saturdays. However, I work around my schedule as a pet-caregiver. I understand how important it is to feel safe and comfortable when leaving your pet in someone’s care. About: The highlight of my dog's day is going on his walks, I want to make sure every pup gets to have theirs! Over 5 years of experience walking my own and my friends' dogs of different breeds and sizes. Experience with shy, timid rescues as well, my own dog is a pit/lab mix rescue from Texas and I was able to build up his confidence through regular routine walking! I have plenty of free time during the week to give your pup a quality walk, currently in between jobs so I am available most days. My dog, Bowie gets at least two 20-30 min walks a day with the occasional hike and dog park visit, I love to make sure he is active and having fun with water on hand for hot days or extra long walks to make sure he is hydrated throughout.

About: I love dogs and I love taking care of them as well as playing with them. I have a lot of family and friends who have dogs so I have experience in taking care of all types of dogs.I have a few years of experience with dogs and I just love being around dogs. I get along with all types of dogs pretty easily. I am a responsible person when it comes to taking care of other people's dogs.

About: I started my experience dog walking 2 years ago for a professor’s friend in Winchester, Virginia. Twice a week, I would walk her hyper pups. She then recommended me to her father, whose dog I began walking twice a week as well. From there, my mini business boomed through word of mouth. I began dog sitting in people’s homes as well for multiple individuals for varying time spans. Most of the dogs I interacted with were seniors and required extensive care. However, all dogs owners loved and recommended me to others! I still walk the original dogs and add in others as my schedule allows with two other jobs. I am sad to leave my extensive clientele in Winchester, but I am moving back to New Jersey for graduate school and excited to meet new puppy friends!! For the summertime, I am incredibly flexible with nothing planned. I prefer weekly walks / drop ins, but also like sitting as well. In August, I start physical therapy school at Columbia University so my availability will decrease but I’d be willing to provide services on nights / weekends. During breaks, my availability will open up again! Whenever walking / sitting, I respect the owner’s rules, no matter what. I long to maintain utmost cleanliness and adherence to routine as physically possible. I am also very communicative and honest, building trust with my clients.

About: Our Experience: Combined we have over 30 years of dog experience, as we both grew up with dogs. We've been pet sitting other people's dogs for a few years now and joined Rover Sept 2021. Our Schedule: We both work from home (it's wonderful). It will be very rare that your pet is ever alone for more than 30 minutes, but if we do have an out of the house activity to do the day of your sit, we'll let you know. Walks: We do not have a fenced in yard but our neighborhood is beautiful! We take the dogs we sit for walks first thing in the AM, after breakfast, after lunch, around 4pm (when the kids get home from school), after dinner, then one more before bed. Runs: If your dog is a runner, s/he can go on a 3 mile run with Laura! Laura runs 3 miles, 3x a week and loves the company. Other Dogs: If your dog needs to be the only dog in the home, let us know and we'll check our schedule. Otherwise, we will take up to two dogs at a time, as long as the dogs like other dogs. We have no pets of our own. Lawn Chemicals: We've never used any pesticides or herbicides. We understand that they are linked to cancer in both pets and people. Smoke: Our home is smoke-free and we ask that the dogs also be from smoke-free homes. Hate Has No Home Here: Our home is LGBTQI and BIPOC friendly.

I work from home mostly--I am in the office two days a week (every Tuesday and Wednesday.) All other days I am flexible with my schedule. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was 10 years old. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I am an absolute animal lover, your pet will be in great hands with me. I’m responsible, reliable, and treat other peoples animals as my own! I’m fully employed but I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible! I can be available for your animal from 9am-11pm or if you’re boarding with me, I will be available for your pet all day and night. I am available 7 days and nights a week! I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for your animal to run around safely. I always like to monitor small dogs, as they’re more vulnerable so I’ll sit outside with them and make sure they’re safe. I currently do not have any animals at the moment, as I lost my Yorkshire terrier in October of 2022, so your pet will be the only animal in my house. I have gates that I can put up if you prefer your pet doesn’t do stairs. And my entire house is pet friendly!

About: For a little over four years I've been the go-to pet sitter for my coworkers when they go on vacation. I've researched all things related to dogs pretty much from the moment I learned to use a computer because I've spent almost all my life trying to convince my parents to get a dog. Spoiler alert, I was unsuccessful ): but not for lack of trying ("dogs are too big of a financial commitment" according to them... but four kids isn't??? but I digress lol)! Training has always been fascinating to me, it never fails to amaze me how smart dogs are! Overall I just love their energy and how loving they can be, being around dogs is truly therapeutic and does wonders for your mental health! You're so blessed to have one in your life and I would be honored to care for them (: <3 Sunday-Wednesday and Friday I work 7-3 and I’m off all day on Thursday and Saturday! Currently taking a break from school, so as soon as I get out of work I'll be free to devote my time to your doggies (: I live in a big apartment with a home office that I turn into the doggy room essentially although they are welcome to roam throughout the apartment of course! My neighborhood is very walkable (one of my favorite things about where I live) and I’m about a mile and a half away from like 3 parks!

About: I am a life-long animal lover. I grew up with dogs, a cat, a rabbit and anything else I could convince my parents to house! I've been riding horses since an early age as well. Connecting with animals has always come very naturally to me. I truly enjoy caring for and loving animals. My first job, at the age of 13, was as a daily after-school dog-walker, for my neighbor's Old English Sheepdog, Winston. That 30 minutes was the highlight of my weekdays. Animals and their pet parents have been finding me ever since! :) I work in the school system and my days end at 3:10pm. I am available most weekdays after 3:30pm for drop-in visits and walks. I also have weekend availability. My schedule will be much more open & flexible during the summer! During visits, I focus purely on your pet and his/her needs. Drop-ins are normally feeding, a potty break & fresh air, some playtime, water change, a treat (if that's okay by you!) and of course, lots of LOVE. I will tailor the play activities to your pets preferences and energy level for the best experience. During walks, I will remain consistent with the usual pace and route. My goal is for your pet to receive the right amount of activity & stimulation and feel comfortable and happy in my company. I will always make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and looked after as if he/she is my own. :)
