About: Animals have always been family to me. I grew up with dogs and now share my home with two cats who are truly my kids. I’m the kind of pet parent who wakes up in the middle of the night if they need me, or rushes to the vet the moment something feels off. When I lived with my parents, I cared for their two dogs with the same devotion. From daily walks and playtime to the less glamorous tasks, I did it all with love. What sets me apart is my genuine commitment to treating every pet like they’re my own. Whether it’s an energetic puppy needing play and structure, or a senior pet who deserves patience and gentle care, I bring reliability, compassion, and the kind of attentiveness that gives pet parents peace of mind. With me, your pets will feel safe, loved, and cared for as if you never left. I work full-time as a Human Resources Benefits Administrator monday through friday 8–5, but outside of those hours I’m available for pet care. On Fridays I work remotely, which gives me extra flexibility. I can do daytime visits, evenings, or overnight care the night before. I make sure to plan around my work schedule so your pets get the attention they need. On Saturdays and Sundays, I’m fully available for drop-ins, walks, or overnight care. I care for pets like they’re my own. I follow your routines so their day feels normal and stress-free, whether it’s mealtime, playtime, or quiet time. I keep things clean and safe by refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, and tidying up after walks or play. Every pet is different, I pay attention to what makes them happy, extra cuddles, space to relax, or more play.

I currently work part-time where I choose my own hours! I’m looking forward to using my free time to care for your pets and give them my full attention. About: Our Experience: Combined we have over 30 years of dog experience, as we both grew up with dogs. We've been pet sitting other people's dogs for a few years now and joined Rover Sept 2021. Our Schedule: We both work from home (it's wonderful). It will be very rare that your pet is ever alone for more than 30 minutes, but if we do have an out of the house activity to do the day of your sit, we'll let you know. Walks: We do not have a fenced in yard but our neighborhood is beautiful! We take the dogs we sit for walks first thing in the AM, after breakfast, after lunch, around 4pm (when the kids get home from school), after dinner, then one more before bed. Runs: If your dog is a runner, s/he can go on a 3 mile run with Laura! Laura runs 3 miles, 3x a week and loves the company. Other Dogs: If your dog needs to be the only dog in the home, let us know and we'll check our schedule. Otherwise, we will take up to two dogs at a time, as long as the dogs like other dogs. We have no pets of our own. Lawn Chemicals: We've never used any pesticides or herbicides. We understand that they are linked to cancer in both pets and people. Smoke: Our home is smoke-free and we ask that the dogs also be from smoke-free homes. Hate Has No Home Here: Our home is LGBTQI and BIPOC friendly.

“I had Ivy stay with my girl Cassie for 3 nights. She did a great job! Cassie and I loved her on our meet and greet. She was very respectful of my home as well. She took the time to write down all feeding and medication times because she knew how important it was to give her medication every 12 hours. I would definitely recommend her to care for your pets. I get nervous leaving Cassie when I have to travel for work, but Ivy staying with her definitely put my mind at ease. I will be using her again for my next trip in a few weeks!”

About: I've watched countless friends' and family members' pets, as well my own, and currently have an 8 year old Goldendoodle named Gatsby who I adventure with every day. I believe in meeting dogs' full physical and mental needs beyond the minimum. I structure my walks to allow for maximum exercise as well as plenty of mental stimulation like sniffing and exploration. I listen to every dog--each one is very different! I'm a recent graduate on break with a ton of time to hang out with your dogs/cats and am based in the Glen Rock area. About: My journey with caring for pets finally began in my undergraduate career at Rutgers University. Previously, I had helped to care for my aunts pets and took care of my own until we had to give him away. My favorite thing about taking care of your favorite family member is how I can see them adapt to a new environment and warm up to me. It’s beautiful to know that we can all connect w animals in an intimate way. I have a park right next to my house and a wooded area & fenced field where they can run around freely. Making sure they are having a good time and are healthy is my main priority. Dog loving is what I was made for.
