Availability
During the summer, my schedule is very open and flexible. During the school year, I’m a full-time student at Ramapo College. Most of my classes are between 1–5 PM, and I have Thursdays completely free. I also have open weekend availability and always do my best to be flexible whenever possible.

Every cat is different, so I like to tailor each visit to what makes them happiest. I’ll make sure your cat has fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and plenty of love and attention. If they enjoy playing, we’ll spend time with their favorite toys. If they’re more independent, I’m just as happy to let them relax while I check in on them and make sure they’re doing well. I’m also happy to give medications, clean up any messes, and send lots of photos and updates so you know how they’re doing. I treat every cat like they’re my own, and my goal is always for them to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for until you’re back home.
Information Emma D. would like to know about your pet
Before our first visit, I’d love to learn a little about your cat! Please let me know about their daily routine, favorite toys, treats, hiding spots, medications, or anything else that helps them feel comfortable. The more I know beforehand, the easier it is to make my visits feel familiar and stress-free for them.
A typical day

Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Emma, and I’m currently a biology student at Ramapo College of New Jersey on the pre-veterinary track while also earning my veterinary technician degree. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, but cats have always been my passion. I’ve grown up with cats my entire life and currently have my own cat, Archie, who I care for independently. I also help care for my family’s senior cat, Lexi, who is blind and has special needs. Caring for her has taught me how important patience, routine, and paying attention to the little things can be. Every cat is different, and I love getting to know each one’s unique personality. I specialize exclusively in cat drop-in visits. For the past two years, I’ve volunteered at both a feral cat shelter and a cat sanctuary, where I’ve worked with cats of all ages and personalities. Some have been incredibly social, while others have needed extra time and patience to feel comfortable. Through these experiences, I’ve become comfortable with feeding, cleaning litter boxes, administering medications, monitoring behavior, and making sure every cat feels safe and cared for. I know that leaving your cat can be stressful, especially if they’re shy, senior, or have medical needs. My goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible while you’re away. Whether your cat wants someone to play with them, brush them, give them treats, or simply sit quietly nearby, I’ll always let them set the pace. Outside of cats, I’m also an intern at a local farm sanctuary where I care for horses, cows, pigs, goats, sheep, and many other animals. Last year I also became certified in Pet CPR and First Aid, so I’m prepared if an emergency ever comes up.

Reviews

Emma cared for our kitten as if he were her own. She’s very responsive and excellent with her communications. We were so lucky to have found her!

We are so comfortable trusting Emma with our boy! Thank you for your attentive care and for all the great pics and updates!

Emma was great! She took such great care of Freyja while we were away. It was her birthday while we were gone and Emma spent extra time with her and got her a present. We will definitely rebook Emma when we travel!

Emma took very good care of my cat, Cactus. She played with him gave him pets and treats, and sent me a nice report each day with fun pictures. Without a doubt, Emma is a caring cat (pet) lover and most reliable. Cactus was very well cared for with Emma - he was in good hands. Thanks so much!
