We are thrilled to recommend Monica & Kelvin, who enthusiastically welcomed our 14 year old cocker spaniel Baci to their home! With texts and photos during our vacation, Monica gave us the confidence that we made a great decision in leaving Baci in their care. She made the arrangements for her services easy for us, and she was accommodating in every way. We consider them the perfect dog sitters!

I had an amazing experience with Kelvin and Monica! It was my first time leaving my dog with someone, and they immediately made me feel comfortable and reassured. They sent me plenty of photos and updates, and most importantly, they made my dog feel safe, relaxed, and right at home. I’m so grateful for the care and attention they provided. I’ll definitely be using them again in fact, I’ve already booked them for next week! Highly recommend!

Schedule

We are Monica and Kelvin, a married couple who work remotely in our home in Upper Saddle River, NJ. We have 1 human 10yr old daughter who is an animal lover just like we are, and a loving, friendly Frenchie! Caring for animals is our passion, and we would be honored to have the opportunity to care for your furry family! Welcome to Your Pet’s Home Away From Home 🐾 We know that leaving your pet behind can be one of the hardest parts of traveling. They’re family, and trusting someone else with their care is a big decision. Our goal is simple: to give you complete peace of mind so you can truly enjoy your trip, knowing your pet is safe, happy, and loved. For more than six years, we’ve welcomed hundreds of dogs into our home, caring for pets of all ages, breeds, personalities, and needs. Every dog who stays with us is treated like one of our own. What Makes Us Different Unlike a traditional boarding facility, we are a working family who pet sits from our home. This is what makes our care so unique. Because we both work from home, your pet becomes part of our daily life—not a kennel routine. They receive companionship, supervision, affection, and personalized care throughout the day while maintaining the routine that helps them feel most comfortable. We take the time to follow the schedule you’ve created for your pet, including: * Feeding routines * Potty schedules * Sleeping arrangements * Medications * Exercise needs * Favorite toys, comforts, and special instructions Our goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable and secure as possible while giving them all the love and attention they deserve.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety Is Our Highest Priority Nothing is more important to us than your pet’s safety and well-being. Our home is clean, secure, and thoughtfully set up with dogs in mind. We have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks, and we carefully supervise every guest throughout their stay. Over the years, we’ve cared for just about every type of dog imaginable, including: * Puppies * Senior dogs * Dogs requiring daily medications or additional medical care * Dogs with anxiety * Dogs who prefer people over other dogs or need their own space * High-energy dogs needing extra engagement With hundreds of successful stays behind us, there’s very little that surprises us anymore. We’ve learned that every dog is unique, but many of the behaviors that concern owners are actually a normal part of adjusting to a new environment. Whether it’s first-day nerves, temporary changes in appetite, excitement, separation anxiety, senior care, accidents, or simply taking a little extra time to settle in, chances are we’ve experienced something very similar before. We approach every situation with patience, confidence, and compassion. One thing we’ve learned over the years is that most dogs experience some level of anxiety when arriving somewhere new. New smells, new people, and a different routine can feel overwhelming at first. That’s completely normal. With consistency, reassurance, and plenty of TLC, most dogs quickly settle in and begin enjoying their own little vacation. Communication You Can Count On We understand how much you miss your pet while you’re away, and we know how reassuring it is to receive updates. You’ll receive regular photos and thoughtful updates throughout your pet’s stay so you can see how they’re doing and enjoy your time away with confidence. If anything unexpected or concerning ever arises, we will contact you immediately. Your pet’s health, safety, and happiness are always our top priorities. Because we are a working family—not a commercial boarding facility—we believe in open communication and mutual respect for one another’s time. Our focus throughout the day is providing attentive, hands-on care to the pets in our home, we will provide daily, regular updates with photos. If your pet needs us—or if there’s anything you should know—you’ll hear from us right away. Our Promise When your pet stays with us, they aren’t simply being watched—they become part of our family. They’ll be cared for in a clean, safe, loving home where they’ll receive individualized attention, plenty of affection, and experienced care tailored to their unique needs. Our hope is that while your pet is enjoying their stay with us, you’re able to fully enjoy your own journey—whether you’re traveling for business, celebrating a special occasion, or taking a well-deserved vacation. You can relax knowing your furry family member is in experienced, compassionate hands and being cared for just as we would care for our own. Thank you for considering our family to care for yours. We look forward to welcoming your pet into our home.

Pets

A typical day

What Does a Typical Day Look Like? One of the things our clients love most about our care is that your pet gets to experience life as part of a family—not life in a kennel. We work from home, and one of us is typically home throughout the day, so your pet enjoys plenty of companionship, supervision, and interaction. We very rarely leave pets unattended for more than two hours at a time, and that’s typically only for errands or commitments related to our own dogs. Every morning starts with potty breaks, breakfast (according to your pet’s normal feeding schedule), fresh water, and plenty of love. Throughout the day, water bowls are checked and refilled regularly to ensure your pet always has access to clean, fresh water. Throughout the workday, we take regular breaks to let the dogs outside, go for walks when appropriate, play, engage with them, and, of course, provide lots of belly rubs, cuddles, and attention. We don’t believe in simply “watching” dogs—we believe in living alongside them while you’re away. Your pet becomes part of our daily routine while maintaining the routine that makes them feel comfortable and secure. Whether your dog is an early riser, enjoys afternoon naps, requires medications, has a favorite toy, or prefers sleeping in a particular spot, we do our very best to make their stay feel as familiar as possible. We understand that every dog is different. Some are energetic and playful, while others prefer a slower pace, extra reassurance, or a quiet place to relax. We tailor our care to each dog’s individual personality, age, energy level, and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and at home from the moment they arrive. By the end of the day, most of our guests are happily tired from a day filled with enrichment, affection, companionship, and plenty of TLC. Our goal is simple: for your pet to feel safe, loved, and completely at home while you’re away—so you can enjoy your trip with confidence, knowing they’re receiving the same care, attention, and affection we would want for our own pets.

What Should We Know Before Your Pet’s Stay? The more we know about your pet before they arrive, the better we can make them feel right at home! Every dog is unique, and understanding their routine and preferences helps us provide the personalized care they’re accustomed to. Before drop-off, please let us know about: * Your pet’s normal feeding schedule and portion sizes * Potty routine and any cues they use * Sleeping arrangements (crate, dog bed, human bed, etc.) * Daily exercise needs and energy level * Medications, supplements, allergies, or other medical conditions * Behavioral quirks, fears, anxieties, or anything that helps your pet feel comfortable * Any commands, habits, or routines you’d like us to continue while they’re with us * Anything else you think would help us provide the best possible experience Please also ensure we have your veterinarian’s information on file, along with an emergency contact who is local and available should we be unable to reach you while you’re traveling. While emergencies are rare, we believe it’s always best to be prepared. What Should You Bring? To help your pet transition comfortably, we ask that you bring: * Enough food for the entire stay (plus a little extra, if possible) * Any required medications or supplements with clear instructions * A leash or harness if applicable That’s it! We kindly ask that you travel light whenever possible. We have plenty of clean blankets, food and water bowls, toys, and all of the essentials your pet will need during their stay. We also recommend leaving sentimental or irreplaceable items at home, including favorite blankets, special toys, or cherished beds. While we take excellent care of every item brought into our home, dogs can sometimes chew, play rough, or accidentally damage belongings in a new environment. We’d much rather those treasured items stay safely at home waiting for your pet’s return. Our goal is to provide everything your pet needs while keeping their stay safe, comfortable, and as stress-free as possible—for both you and them.
