We are Monica and Kelvin, a married couple who work remotely in our home in Upper Saddle River, NJ. We have 1 human 9-yr old daughter who is an animal lover just like we are, and a loving, friendly Frenchie! Caring for animals is our passion, and we would be honored to have the opportunity to care for your furry family! Big, small, and any size in between is welcome in our home❤️ We are a loving family that loves taking care of dogs in our home - we are not a kennel facility! We are also available for dog walking and drop in visits! Our home has a 1-acre fenced- in backyard. We tend to use our backyard to allow our dogs and any dogs we care for supervised play and exercise. We always supervise the dogs play in our backyard, and never leave them out unattended (we wouldn’t do this with our own pups and would certainly not do it with a guest pup!) Your pet’s comfort, safety and happiness is of the utmost important to us during their stay in our home. Any accommodation that they require will be gladly met! We treat every pet that walks through our door like our own family and our most VIP guest! We have extra pet beds, pet gates and other comfort accommodations to make your furry family member feel at home here. We have a young and playful French bulldog that is very friendly and gets along with all dogs. If your dog is not too fond of other dogs, we do have the ability to separate your dog(s) from ours comfortably and safely if they prefer more peace and quiet ☺️ When booking with us, you can expect: ⭐️ A loving family who will love and care for your dog like their own! ⭐️ Frequent photo and text updates throughout the day ⭐️ Prompt replies to your messages ⭐️ Friendly and flexible service ⭐️ A clean and pet-safe home ⭐️ Transparency about possible other dogs that may be boarding in our home at the time ⭐️ Reliable, experienced and punctual dog walker/sitters ⭐️ Assurance that your dog will get the specialized attention and love that they need and deserve in our home ⭐️ Lots of personalized love and attention for your fur baby!! Due to working from home, our schedule is extremely flexible to your dogs needs with walks, feeding, medication, exercise, etc. We cannot wait to meet you and your fur baby!!

⭐️FAQ’s ⭐️ Here are some frequently asked questions to help you with things you should know. We’ve been doing this for a while now and have learned a lot to make mutually pleasant and safe experience for everyone and for your fur baby to have a great stay and safe time. Please review the below: ⭐️ How do I book? - After we confirm we’re available, you can press the “Book” button on Rover. All payments are handled through Rover, not with us directly. ⭐️Where do you keep the dogs? - In our home! Simple as that! They’re welcome to roam around freely. We’re not a kennel facility - we’re a loving family who loves spending time with the dogs we sit in our home. We do have a few crates set up in our living room for dogs who prefer to be crated. We don’t crate dogs unless the owner requests it. The crates are just an amenity we offer so that our customers who use crates don’t have to struggle to bring their crate from home. We understand that some dog owners get triggered by crates, so we like to let you know beforehand so there’s no confusion when you drop off or pick up your furry friend. Some dog owners like their dogs to be crated because of their dog’s anxiety, healing from an injury, if it’s their routine at home, or just because their safe place is a crate! ⭐️How Many Dogs Do You Take at a Time? - Usually 1 or 2. We try to accept dogs of a similar size and temperament at the same time. Since we work from home, taking more than this at a time gets to be a bit too much for us. We like to be able to give your dog the personalized attention they deserve! ⭐️ Can we do a meet and greet? - Yes, but we do have a few rules that we ask you to respect. We’re happy for you to come to our home to meet us and we know you want to see where your dog will be staying (we know they’re your baby! We feel the same about our baby Frenchie, Garçon!) - We conduct meet and greets in our backyard, so your dog can sniff around and meet our dog. They usually run around for a few minutes since the dogs are usually excited when they first meet, and we can chat about your pup’s care details! We’ve found this is the best and safest way to introduce dogs! ⭐️Now, what do you need to bring? - Your dog’s food, their bowls, any specific treats or medications, and their bed ( if they have) We don’t provide any treats that you have not provided to avoid any stomach issues- we know some pups have sensitive stomachs. Also, please don’t bring a bunch of toys! We have a lot of toys, and sometimes our Frenchie can steal other dogs’ toys and hide them in a secret place :) like under a bed or in a closet - ha! We don’t want you to lose any of your favorite toys! ⭐️How does feeding work? We’ll follow whatever feeding schedule you provide. We always separate your dog from our dog while they’re eating just to avoid any food territorialism from both pups. ;) Food that needs to be refrigerated is totally okay! ⭐️Will I receive photos during my dog’s stay? - Absolutely! We stay in very close contact with you and send daily photos and updates. We understand how important this is to you. ⭐️How will my dog be walked? Do you have a yard? - We’ve got a brand-new 6ft PVC fence that completely encloses our backyard. We usually take the pups for a walk and let them use the restroom there. We always keep a close eye on them to make sure they don’t dig under the fence or try to escape! We’re happy to walk your dog too, but please make sure your leash and harness are in good condition. We don’t want any of them breaking on walks! ⭐️ How does pickup and drop-off work? - Sometimes, pickup and drop-off times can be while we’re working, eating dinner, or can be late at night since we are flexible with hours. We’ll meet you at our door to welcome your pup! Please respect our home and family, as we respect your family! We ask that you send us care instructions for your dog IN WRITING before you drop them off. This is because sometimes drop-offs can be quick and sometimes the dogs are barking and it’s hard to talk about care instructions. We don’t want to miss any important details about your dog’s care, so please send us these in advance! We want to ensure your dogs stays on their routine and has what they need during their stay ❤️ ⭐️What happens if my plans change before or while I’m on my trip? - We’re usually very flexible when it comes to you needing to extend or shorten your trip or change your pickup or drop-off time. We do ask for as much notice as possible. Please try to make your best guess of your drop-off or pickup times as we plan our day around this. Please try and be respectful of our time as well.
A typical day
We live in a house, so your dog will have full range of our home unless there is any reason that you don’t want them climbing stairs, etc. we do have gates blocking off our stairs incase of dogs with any physical limitations. We typically put our dogs in a different room when we feed them and guest dogs so that your dog has peace while they eat! We also don’t want the pups to be eating each others food to avoid illness or running out of their own food! We work from home, so will be home all day with your pup! We have a flexible schedule to accommodate all needs. We do have a fenced in backyard that we use for exercising and playing with your pup, but we still take them on leashed bathroom break walks around our block/neighborhood to allow them to stretch their legs and also give our grass a break (ha! ). Your dog will always be supervised by us while in our yard and will never be left unattended. Please let us know what kind of walks your dogs prefer upon booking (long walks, short walks, duration, etc.) if you do not want your dog to be taken on walks and/or be let outside, please let us know. We understand every pup has different needs. ⭐️ ACCOMMODATIONS⭐️ - Crates: Your dog will never be placed in a crate unless you provide or request a crate, and you request that they are placed in a crate. -Couch/Bed Access: Your dog is welcome on our couch and bed, however if you do NOT allow this at home, we will ensure to not allow your dog to do it at our home. If possible, it’s always a great idea to bring your dog’s bed or blanket from home so they have a familiar scent and setting while they’re staying with us! We allow guest pups to sleep in our bedrooms if that’s where they feel most comfortable! Happy to provide bedtime cuddles so that they feel the most at home!! -Gates: Our home is equipped with dog gates on every bedroom door and stairs. This allows us the flexibility to keep your dog separate from ours when eating/sleeping, etc. if that’s what you would prefer! - Walks: Due to us both working from home, we have the flexibility to walk your dog and play with them as much as needed! Please let us know of your dog’s routine upon booking and we’ll be sure to adhere to your dogs schedule! Please be sure to send your dog to our home with their usual collar/harness and leash that they usually use. -Meals: Please provide your dog’s food and bowls when they stay with us! We find that dogs tend to eat better when they have their own bowls from home! Please also be sure to provide the meal frequency and amount to us so we keep your pup on track with their usual schedule -Toys/Treats: Your dog is welcome to our treats (Milk bones and Bocces Bakery, but if your dog is on a special diet, please provide their treats/bones. Also, if they have a favorite toy from home, feel free to bring it!

Reviews
Monica and Kelvin took great care of Cody -- he was happy in their home and environment -- and they were also nice people to work with. Definitely will use their pet-sitting help again!
Monica and Kelvin's care for my dog Cody was caring and excellent. While there he had a great, friendly space to run around in and play. I plan to use their good services again soon.
Thank you kelvin and Monica for the wonderful time that Atticus had, I felt very peaceful looking at the photos that showed he felt as he was staying similar to his own home.

Two stays in and they are amazing and very communicative. Highly recommend
