“Emma went above and beyond caring for my dogs. She was punctual, thoughtful, and treated our dog like her own. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup and couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve had experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds for 10+ years. Pet sitting and dog walking experience of 6+ years! I have experience and am comfortable with dogs of all different temperaments, including puppies and kittens. I am currently home full-time and am available for drop-ins and or house sittings when needed! I am also available for last minute as my schedule is very flexible. I am available any time of day to care for your pets - including early morning or late at night. I have a friendly, golden retriever of my own and a fenced in yard. I am very good with animals of all kinds and sizes, including puppies and kittens.
About: Animals have been a part of my life since childhood, from our show dog who was an Irish Wolfhound to being a rescue mom to smaller terriers. I have cared for horses, chickens, bunnies which included pets with special handicaps. With deep empathy and natural connection, I understand animals on an intuitive level. I have trained puppies, comforted seniors and welcomed countless creatures who somehow find their way to my home. Your pet will find a home away from home here with me, safe, loving-and I look forward to offering the same love I show all animals to your beloved pet. All the animals in my home live in harmony together. Some visitors marvel at that fact but it's how I treat each animal with love and care that fosters this environment. All needs are met and everyone is happy! I am home during the day and available to provide attentive care for your pet. I may step out briefly for errands or other chores but will ensure your pet's needs are fully met and they get plenty of company and care. Our home is on one acre with a fenced in yard and great area for walking with lots of trees in a peaceful setting. I have a senior dog (17 yo) that loves company. We also have cats which are friendly and curious.

About: Prior to moving towns I used to pet sit for all of my neighbors. Pets large and small, it didn’t matter but it was always fun. I’m starting my MBA next fall so anything earned on here will go towards that goal of mine! I’ve owned pets for over 12 years and have been taking care of others for 6 so almost all throughout high school and undergrad. I can walk multiple dogs at once, great with elderly animals, experienced with puppies, able to administer pet medication, etc. If you have questions reach out! Currently I am taking two online summer courses for my MBA with Sacred Heart University. I go to the gym 4 times a week and work drop in bartending shifts sometimes on weekends. Since I make my own schedule pet care fits very well into it because I can tailor mine to fit the animals needs! I don’t offer in home care at the moment because my sister recently got hip surgery so I’m waiting until she’s more comfortable to have other peoples pets at home. Otherwise I have two sweet dogs who have coexisted well with pets that I’ve taken care of in the past as well as cats they stay in their own room.
“Love monica!! I always look forward reading her report card, so detailed!! & her pics of Molly are on point & so candid!! Never in a million years I'd be able to take candid pics of molly as she's always busy chasing birds lol”

“As pet parents, our greatest concern is the safety and joy of our animals. When my pup Frank and I started working with Joannie, I knew I wouldn't have to worry about either while Frank was in her care. She has proven to be professional, caring, and patient when it comes to her time with Frank, especially considering he is in his puppy phase. She always provides great feedback and equally fantastic pictures from their walks together. I look forward to having her look after Frank more! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for help with their fur family!”

“Lindsey did an amazing job with Max. She took her time to learn his personality, his walking preferences, and made sure he got good exercise. Max enjoyed his walks and loves Lindsey already.”

About: Hello, my name is Tatiana! I’m a 28-year-old living in Woodcliff Lake, NJ, and a proud Rutgers University alumna with a degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine! I’ve been in love with animals of all kind for as long as I can remember, driving me to pursue this degree! While at Rutgers, I gained hands-on experience working with horses, cows, goats, sheep, and pigs on the university farm. Additionally, I’ve spent over five years as a veterinary assistant and surgical nurse at a pet hospital, specializing in the care of cats and dogs. I’m proficient in administering oral medications and subcutaneous or intramuscular injections. I also have experience with chemotherapy medications, having cared for my dog, who has had a bladder tumor for nearly three years. I share my home with a grumpy 14-year-old Bichon Frise/Shih-Tzu and a 4-year-old Scottish Fold cat with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, whom I rescued during my time at the veterinary clinic. My love for animals knows no bounds, and I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own! With a passion for animals and years of experience, I offer a range of services including dog walking, overnight care, and pet sitting! So whether you're going on a weekend getaway or need someone to take care of your fur baby during the day, I've got you covered! I will gladly send you pictures and video updates of your sweet kitty or pupper! If you're interested in my services, please feel free to message me to discuss your pet care needs! I can't wait to meet you and your fur babies! I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology at Kean University with the goal of working with children. In addition, I wanted to continue my passion for working with cats and dogs, so I decided what better way than pet-sitting! I’m available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from the morning until 3:30 p.m. I’m also available all day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays! Please note that my house sitting fee covers 10-12 hours overnight (depending on my availability) and one midday drop-in! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I adhere strictly to their established routines to ensure the pets feel comfortable and secure. I follow the feeding schedules, provide fresh water, and engage in stimulating playtime and exercise tailored to each pet’s needs. I also ensure the home remains secure and well-maintained during my visits. This includes tidying up areas like vacuuming around the litter box and cleaning up any pet-related messes. Additionally, I provide regular updates with photos and messages to keep the pet parent informed about their pets’ well-being!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Upper Saddle River
Monica & Kelvin are HANDS DOWN the best dog lovers around and we trust our 4 year old English bulldog with them all the time. Monica helps us out with dog walks during the day and is so flexible and accommodating to our crazy schedule, which changes every week. And they both do the most amazing job boarding our Wilbur - whether it’s for one night or 2 weeks, I know he’s going to be loved, cared for, spoiled, and safe. And they’re so great at providing plenty of updates and photos to reassure us while we’re away!! I can’t say enough about these two or the warm, happy home they provide when we can’t be with our boy.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
