“Lisbeth was amazing! Was super attentive and caring with my cats. Even offering to stop back in later in the day when my one cat chose not to eat. Will absolutely be using Lisbeth going forward whenever I need someone to stop in and check on my cats!”

“Melissa was amazing with our 2 cats! They warmed up to her so quickly and she snapped some great photos of them too really capturing their personalities. Great communication and gave us such peace of mind while we were away from our girls for the week. Thank you again Melissa!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Sam. He took excellent care of my two cats for nine days. Sam provided detailed notes and photos of my cats after every visit (which was twice daily). Whenever I had a question he responded promptly. I extended the length of my vacation and Sam accommodated the change without hesitation. If you’re looking for a pet sitter, look no further than Sam. He is outstanding.”

“Katie was great! She was very responsive and helped keep us at ease while we were on vacation. She went above and beyond for us while we were away. We had a building fire next door and she came over that night to check and make sure our cat was fine. I can not recommend Katie enough!!”

“Tatiana was wonderful with my cats and would definitely get her to sit them again. She's very diligent, thorough, and reliable. She goes beyond what is expected of her. Always sent very good pictures, videos, and summary of her time spent with my kitties.”

“Kathryn was eager to meet my boys prior to our trip. This puts everyone at ease. It’s something I look for when choosing a new pet care provider. Kathryn followed all my instructions and was communicative all during our trip. My boys were happy and content when we got home.”

About: I am a life-long animal lover. I grew up with dogs, a cat, a rabbit and anything else I could convince my parents to house! I've been riding horses since an early age as well. Connecting with animals has always come very naturally to me. I truly enjoy caring for and loving animals. My first job, at the age of 13, was as a daily after-school dog-walker, for my neighbor's Old English Sheepdog, Winston. That 30 minutes was the highlight of my weekdays. Animals and their pet parents have been finding me ever since! :) I work in the public school system and my days end at 3:10pm. I am available most weekdays after 3:30pm for drop-in visits and walks. I also have weekend availability. I am available for house sitting throughout the entire year. My schedule and availability for walks and drop-in visits is more flexible during the summer months! During visits, I focus purely on your pet and his/her needs. Drop-ins are normally feeding, a potty break & some fresh air, playtime, water change, a treat (if that's okay by you!) and of course, lots of LOVE. I will tailor the play activities to your pets preferences and energy level for the best experience. During walks, I will remain consistent with the usual pace and route. My goal is for your pet to receive the right amount of activity & stimulation and to feel comfortable and happy in my company. I will ALWAYS make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and looked after as if he/she is my own. :)

About: Hi! 😊 My name is Eleanor. We accept only one client at a time! We are home full time. I have always loved dogs! I love discovering the unique personalities of every dog I meet whether it's on a walk, in my care, or at a dog adoption event. I have provided dog care for my friends and neighbors for 40+ years. I have also fostered many dogs and puppies for a local rescue group. I have experience with senior dogs and young puppies. Hi! I am home full time which means your dog will get a lot of attention and TLC. Playtime and potty: Numerous backyard time throughout the day Meal time: I typically separate the dogs during meals so they do not 'share' :) I require a meet and greet with your dog before a scheduled stay to make sure your dog gets along with my pets and feels comfortable in our home. You may want to book daycare before a longer stay so your dog gets used to our home. It is important that your dog is well behaved and is not aggressive or reactive to other dogs. Our cat keeps to himself most of the day. We live in a single family home with a fenced-in yard (6' high PVC) and 1 friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. We also have a XL crate that can be used if your dogs prefers. The cat litter is kept in a room blocked off by pet gates where only the cat will have access.
“Raquel took great care of our boys while we were away and was very responsive and prompt. We will definitely request her again for future trips and would recommend her services to others!”
“Thank you Nicole, for taking care of our fur babies while we are away. Ella needs a structured routine for her IBD and you help her carry through this process. We are very thankful!”

About: i have a dogs all my life and many puppys and senior dogs so i have lots of experience! i love giving dogs brain stimulation like commands and hid and seek with treats Pet care fits into my routine as part of my everyday life. I make time each day for feeding, walks, playtime, and checking on how my pet is feeling. During the week I also handle grooming, cleaning, and making sure everything they need is stocked. Taking care of pets isn’t something I squeeze in it’s something I naturally plan my day around. I care for my pets and my clients pets but I making sure they always have water and have been fed, along with being let out to do their business. I also like to make sure that they are able to have their time outside and run around to get there energy out
“Leigh is amazing! She took excellent care of our two fur babies. Right off the bat on the first meet and greet, we got an excellent first impression. She was friendly and brought them homemade amazing treats! When our trip came, she was in constant contact with us and sent so many wonderful pictures. We were able to relax and enjoy our trip with the knowledge that our pups were safe and cared for. Leigh is a rockstar.”

“Christine has been such a blessing for us. We recently brought into our home a wonderful shelter dog who needed a lot of love and attention, and was initially suffering from severe separation anxiety whenever someone would leave the room. It has also been more than 15 years since we've had a dog and needless to say we were rusty. From day 1 of the meet and greet with Christine, our dog Dot immediately felt comfortable around her, our kids listened intently to her suggestions, explanations and stories of her own going through similar experiences. She's provided consistent advice and support (outside the formal drop-in/walking sessions we pay for). She has her own dogs and fosters dogs as well... and it's clear she does not do this for the money, but purely for her love of dogs. She posts updates during every visit, sends pics, cleans up if there's been an accident, and provides ideas/suggestions when she can. I highly recommend her!”

Megan took excellent care of our cats. She was responsible and thorough from start to finish. She cleaned up the mess the cats make around their dry food without being asked. She also sent plenty of photos and updates,, so we had a really good sense of how the cats were doing while we were away. That made a big difference to us.We would hire Megan again without hesitation and recommend her highly.

Tatiana was a wonderful communicator who went above and beyond to care for our pet to our specifications. She is a natural and loving with pets. We were nervous to leave our cat for the first time for an extended trip and Tatiana was a lucky find for us (and our pet!)
Lara is the best! She truly cares about my cat Millie’s wellbeing, comfort, and happiness while I’m away. Lara is reliable, timely, and goes the extra mile to make sure Millie feels loved and cared for. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!

We had a great experience with Melinda caring for our cat Ramen during our vacation. She communicated clearly and consistently, followed all instructions carefully, and kept our home clean and tidy. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
