About: I've grown up in a family surrounded by animals, even beyond dogs and cats, and now live on my own with my two beautiful kittys. It would be my pleasure to take care of your dogs, as I miss spending time with the ones that live with my family. I'm used to having animals of all ages and sizes, with special dietary restrictions, intense attention requirements, and specific health issues, so very few things will be enough to deter me from taking care of your babies. My job incurs a lifestyle which has me leave work relatively early, so I should have no problem being there for your pet by 3:00 P.M. at the latest every weekday and saturday (I typically don't work sundays at all). Adapting to the setting of your house is no problem for me, and so long as your pet is comfortable there I should have no issues looking after them in whatever way you'd like. As long as instructions are clear and concise, your pet will be well taken care of while I'm there.

I have cared for puppies all the way to senior dogs. I’m here for whatever you need.
“She is the best and most patient sitter I have ever met. She not only did a fantastic job she helped my Dino start to get over his anxiety! Work in progress as it’s a journey and she has the patience of a saint!”

About: I’ve been lucky enough to have a dog or dogs almost all my life. I also love helping out neighbors & caring for their dogs. I work from home, for the most part, so my schedule is pretty flexible, which also helps to ease the minds of any anxious pups. I have a fenced in yard with lots of space to run around and hang out. My neighborhood is also pretty quiet for nice, safe walks.
About: Hi! I’m Lindsay, a 19-year-old college student originally from New Jersey. Some things about me that I do on my free time is going on runs, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family. I’ve been around animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. Growing up, my family always had dogs, and now currently have a tabby cat. I’ve frequently helped care for pets belonging to friends and relatives as well. I will always enjoy spending time with pets whether it be on a walk or just hanging out with them to keep company! I also have been caring for pets through a different app as well providing walks, sittings, drop ins, etc with a 5 star rating! The same love and attention I give to my pet will be the same for yours! I’m currently working part-time at Ben And Jerry’s. Usually Mondays, Thursdays, Friday, Saturdays. However, I work around my schedule as a pet-caregiver. I understand how important it is to feel safe and comfortable when leaving your pet in someone’s care. I promise to treat your pet with the same love, respect, and attention that I give to my own. Your pet’s well-being and happiness will always be my top priority, and I will make sure they feel secure and cared for every step of the way!
“Nicole took amazing care of our cat while we were out of town. She was very communicative and made sure our cat felt loved and cared for while we were away. This is the 2nd time we’ve hired her, but it sure won’t be the last!”

About: I have had pets all of my life. I am a teacher so I am used to schedules, responsibilities, and caring for others with a high level of care. Our pets deserve to have the same love and care that they give to us! I am a teacher but will have plenty of availability in the summer months. I have early mornings, afternoons, and weekends otherwise during the school year. I am able to care for your pet in your home. I am happy to follow any necessary food, walking, and play schedules that work best for your pet and your family.
About: I’ve taken care of my dog Sugar since I was 12 years old, feeding him, walking him, cleaning his crate, and now changing his diaper in his older age. I am very responsible and caring when looking after dogs. After Sugar broke his neck and needed surgery, I helped him eat and take his medicine, as well as holding him in my arms and comforting him. I now take care of two other dogs as well, Rocky and Sparky. When I’m home, I walk Rocky every morning, make sure the dogs are eating and drinking, give them cuddles, and play with them. Also, 2 years ago, I dog sat for two dogs, one of them being an older dog named Lucky that is blind, partially deaf, and diabetic. I made sure to follow all the instructions given on taking care of them and administered Lucky’s insulin shots daily. As I was dog sitting, Lucky had a serious health scare and needed to go to the vet. I was responsible for taking care of him throughout the process, getting in contact with family members, and ensuring that he got the care he needed to recover. Thankfully Lucky is ok, and his family is very grateful to me for the care I provided him while they were away. I am a college student in New Brunswick, so my availability varies on the weekdays, but I have open availability on the weekends. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I am available after 5:30 PM. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays I am available after 3:30 PM I care for pets by following the instructions given to me by their owners and facilitating a caring and welcoming environment. The pets’ well-being is my top priority and I will ensure that they are properly taken care of.
About: I havw taken care of my families and friends different animals (especially dogs). I've dog sat including feeding, bathing and walking their dogs and cats while away. Pet care fits in my daily routine as I'm working part time and college is online. Distance isn't an issue and I'm free most of my week. I wouldn't be caring for pets in my home, but in my clients home I would make sure all pets are taken care of properly and safe.
About: I have a two senior furry friends that always seek attention. 🐶🐈⬛ My 12 year old pup was diagnosed with insulinoma about 2 years ago, and ever since she has been living the best senior life full of pup cups and Trader Joe’s salmon skins. ❤️ It is through her that I have learned a great deal in friendship and cuddles. 🫂 I am currently working part-time on Rover on the weekdays and weekends when needed. I do have a schedule on my pet’s meal time for 10am, 12pm, 6pm, and 10pm. 🕙 All times vary, and can be accommodated. ❤️ My home is right by the Leonia forest, so it’s the best for taking our fur babies on strolls to allow them to get more fresh air and whiffs of nature. 🌱 All standard necessities such as bathing, grooming, and feeding I am capable of. If needed, please do let me know your preferred routine, and any allergies, medications, or food diets for your pup(s) that I should be mindful of.
“Jack was anwesome! He came right on time and thoroughly did everything we told him to do. He exceeded all expectations with his care for our dog, Colby. Not only did he ensure Colby’s physical exercise needs were met, but he also went above and beyond by capturing numerous funny photos of Colby during their walk, when he was fed, and when he was playing with him. We're very grateful for Jack's dedication and the joy he brought to both our dog and us. 5 stars!”

I truly treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I work from home, which makes my schedule very flexible. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
