About: English/Japanese bilingual I love dogs. Mine lived to 19 and I miss her so much. I would love to help you care for yours! When I'm with your dog, I'm fully present, calm and patient. I'm attentive to what they need and notice the little things: when they seem anxious, when they need a slower pace, when they just want to sit close to someone or need their space. I won't just look after your dog — I will try my best to tune into what they're feeling and respond to it. I'm new to Rover and have cared for my own dogs rather than many, but I am communicative, responsive, and open to feedback. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns! I am currently between jobs and have a pretty flexible schedule, but prefer to work weekdays - as long as I know ahead of time, I can work around yours. I will be respectful of your space, attentive to your pet's needs, and mindful of any notes you share with me ahead of time.

About: I love taking care of my 2 dogs (American Bully & Golden Doodle), as well as my 3 cats! I’m available to play with your pets, walk them, or even just be in the house with them when they need some company!!! I’ll be studying to get my Masters through an online program and am looking to make some money while I’m going through school! I’m from Bergen County and am open to caring for any pets in the area! I am happy to walk your pets, play with them, or just stay inside with them if that’s what they prefer! Whatever your preferences are, I’m more than happy to accommodate!
“Tatiana was wonderful with my cats and would definitely get her to sit them again. She's very diligent, thorough, and reliable. She goes beyond what is expected of her. Always sent very good pictures, videos, and summary of her time spent with my kitties.”

“Erica is a devoted dog lover and sitter. From the very beginning (soon after my initial request) and all throughout her visits, she kept in regular contact and always communicated clearly and kindly. Our dog Ranger never had it so good. She kept us updated with photos of his activities and the love and care she provided. We'll definitely have her back. She has our highest recommendation!”

“Sara has been wonderful with Jett! She has cats of her own, so that really put me at ease. She is easy to communicate with and fast response which I really appreciate. She also sends pictures every check-in. I am thankful as I was first nervous about using this service.”

“Alexa was great! She was incredibly responsive and took good care of our two kitties while we were away. She kept us updated throughout, and we could tell she genuinely cared about our cats. We would absolutely book her again!”

“Jack was anwesome! He came right on time and thoroughly did everything we told him to do. He exceeded all expectations with his care for our dog, Colby. Not only did he ensure Colby’s physical exercise needs were met, but he also went above and beyond by capturing numerous funny photos of Colby during their walk, when he was fed, and when he was playing with him. We're very grateful for Jack's dedication and the joy he brought to both our dog and us. 5 stars!”

“I can not say enough about Christy. We first hired her shortly after bringing home our two new kittens, Walter and Winston, and trusting someone with brand-new kittens wasn’t an easy decision. From the very first visit, it was obvious how comfortable and experienced she is with cats. She didn’t just stop in to feed them—she spent the entire visit playing with them, giving them attention, and making sure they were happy and comfortable. We’ve now trusted Christy to care for the boys on multiple trips and she’s been wonderful every time. She sends thoughtful updates and photos after every visit, which gives us so much peace of mind while we’re away. She also goes above and beyond in ways she never has to. She brought in several large, heavy packages, emptied our Litter Genie, and always made sure everything was taken care of before she left. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely loves cats and treats them like they’re her own, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Christy. We’ll absolutely continue booking with her whenever we travel.”

“Randi was great! She Took care of our two cats while we were out of town for the week. She made sure to take photos and keep us updated with how they were doing the whole time!”

“Nicole was wonderful. Our kitty, Oscar, loved her. She is really an amazing cat sitter as she played with him to stimulate him when we were away. She has a fantastic feel for cats and gave use many pictures and videos to watch on our trip. Five stars! Keith”

“Liz was great watching my cats! She sent me lots of pictures and spent plenty of time with them to make me feel comfortable while I was away! She even got my shy cat out of her shell in just two visits which made me so happy to see while I couldn’t be there with them. Great communication from her and overall just such a great help while I was gone.”

About: I grew up with a dog that we lost at age 15, then I adopted a senior dog who I had for five years afterward. He had a variety of health issues I had to administer medication for, including epilepsy and arthritis. In March of 2024, I adopted a puppy, so I now have experience with younger dogs as well. I work from home full time, M-F from 9AM - 6PM. I can walk your dog 1-2 times per day, weather permitting, and will bring them out to potty multiple times in between walks and again before bedtime. I occasionally have to leave during weekdays for grocery runs and other errands, and on weekends I am in and out of the house a bit more frequently. Thus, I only accept bookings with dogs who are fully house trained and can be left alone for a few hours at a time. Please bring all of your dog’s supplies as I live in an apartment and don’t have extras — food, bed, treats, bowls, toys, chews/enrichment, leash and collar, and anything else you want to send them with to feel comfortable. I have poop bags and some toys they can share with my dog. I can only accept bookings with dogs who are friendly with others. My dog really enjoys playing and will have no problem entertaining your dog as long as they get along. If your dog is scared or uncomfortable around my dog, I have a baby gate I can separate them with in another room. My dog stays in her crate whenever I leave the house. Please not that I do not let dogs I am sitting sleep in my bedroom so they will be sleeping by themselves in whatever bed or crate you provide.
About: I’ve been caring for both dogs and cats for many years and truly love spending time with animals. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take pride in providing personalized care to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, administering medication, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets who may need extra patience and attention. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your furry family members are in good hands. I have a flexible schedule and will fit you and your fur baby into my schedule. I am a very calming, sweet person and look forward to meeting you and your pet! I cannot have pets in my home, but I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I will follow and instructions you have and will ensure your fur baby is taken care of!
“I always feel at ease having Bryndon check up on my pup. I always worry since a corso is not an easy dog to manage but he always has tons of fun with Bryndon. I also enjoy all the cute pics I get :) he’s very respectful of our house rules too”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Emerson
Karen was absolutely wonderful! She came highly recommended by my neighbor, and she definitely delivered! We had a last-minute emergency and couldn’t find anyone to come let our pup out, but Karen was able to drop in and help us out. She was reliable, responsive, and such a huge help when we needed it most. We’re so grateful and would definitely recommend her!

I would highly recommend Alessandra! She made herself available on short notice and provided reassuring updates about our dog during the check ins. He is very anxious and was so comfortable with Alessandra and so much less stressed when we returned home since she was there to take great care of him!

We couldn’t be happier with the care Suzanne gave our dog while we were away. Our dog can be difficult to manage, but Suzanne handled her with such patience and skill. She truly went above and beyond!! She sent constant photos and thoughtful updates that gave us complete peace of mind. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, caring, and experienced sitter. Suzanne is a gem!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
