Availability
I currently work for myself, providing consulting and leadership education to veterinary clinics, so I’m generally available. I occasionally travel for speaking engagements but will always update my calendar accordingly! Because of my kids, I prefer not to do overnights.

Information Suzanne T. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences or restrictions! Before looking after a new pup or kitty, I’d like to know if they are good around children and other animals because this will tell me where we’ll be able to go on walks. Does your pet have any allergies? particular likes or dislikes? Tell me more about your pup’s personality. Do they have a favorite toy? Where do you keep your dog food and treats? Does your pup have any fears, like thunder or vacuum cleaners? If there's a medical condition and require special attention? And of course veterinarian information in case of an emergency!
A typical day
I love hiking, but know that some dogs are just as happy with a leisurely stroll. I'd take your pet on a stroll by the water, a run around the park, or play ball if that's what they fancy!

Caring, dependable, Licensed Tech!
Pet care experience
I have owned dogs my entire life and have always wanted to be a vet. When I went to school for business I knew something was missing so I left business and headed to school to become a vet tech. I've been caring for dogs and cats ever since and I love it! I treat others pets as if they were my own and love spending time with them! I can also do more than other dog walkers - give medications (both oral and injectable), basic grooming like nail trims and anal gland expression, and take care of disabled and senior pets as well! As a licensed vet tech and certified compassion fatigue professional, I am also available to help you during end of life care (it’s sometimes very hard to know when it’s time) as well as share grief support resources for anticipatory and post euthanasia grief. I would also like to note that I have two human children (Born March 2018) that may need to come with me for walks, drop ins, or house sitting so ideally pets would be child friendly - but this is not a requirement - they are great with pets but we all know that not all pets are great with kids so we’ll follow your lead! I can’t wait to meet you and your babies!

Reviews

We couldn’t be happier with the care Suzanne gave our dog while we were away. Our dog can be difficult to manage, but Suzanne handled her with such patience and skill. She truly went above and beyond!! She sent constant photos and thoughtful updates that gave us complete peace of mind. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, caring, and experienced sitter. Suzanne is a gem!!

Suzanne is the best! My dog loves her. And she takes such good pictures for the updates.

Suzanne is the best. She is so good to our boy and he loves her.

Reliable, dependable, responsive, and our pets love her!
