“First Impressions Boarding my dog, Lilly, with someone outside the family for the first time made me a little nervous. My granddaughter, who had used Rover before, helped me submit the application and choose a sitter. Even on the way to drop Lilly off, I still felt apprehensive, but that quickly changed when Teresa gave us such a warm welcome and Lilly and I were greeted by Teresa’s three friendly dogs. Although Lilly seemed a bit overwhelmed at first, she soon relaxed after playing in Teresa’s large backyard, and I felt comfortable leaving her there. Updates During Her Stay Teresa reassured me that Lilly would be well cared for and promised to keep me updated. She followed through by sending photos and notes about how Lilly was sleeping, eating, and taking her medicine, which I really appreciated. Pickup and Overall Experience When I picked Lilly up, Teresa told me what a joy she had been to care for. She said Lilly was very sweet, that her daughter had fallen in love with her, and even one of her dogs had taken a liking to her. Teresa also said Lilly would be welcome back anytime. “Darien deserves the award for the world’s best dog sitter! Our two dogs Matcha and Zuma had the time of their lives with Darien and her family! Before we found Darien we would have to leave them with someone who kept them in a pen all day and night, due to Matcha always trying to escape. However, Darien was the first dog sitter we could trust to allow Matcha to roam free, and that’s saying a lot!! Darien was extremely professional, reliable, responsive and overall extremely kind with both Matcha and Zuma. She treated them as her own with endless love and care. The constant pictures and videos she would send, put a smile on our faces and gave us a sense of ease! The amount of time and attention she put towards them touched me! We never had to worry! “I am so happy to have found Jenny and Geoff! They took wonderful care of my 75-lb dog, Sawyer. After checking to make sure that he’d enjoy it, they gave him lots of play time with their kids and other dogs and treated him to multiple trips to the dog park. He started to show signs of an ear infection the day before I had to drop him off, and they were so kind about cleaning his ears twice a day. And they sent me daily photos and videos of him playing and cuddling. I was pretty sure that he wouldn’t want to come home again! Highly recommend!!”

From booking his stay to picking up my dog after my trip, Christabel was communicative and trustworthy. In the initial visit to her apartment, it was evident it was very clean, safe, and stylish. She proactively asked for documentation needed in case of emergency which is thoughtful. Throughout my dogs stay I received numerous photos and videos of him being walked or lounging, and he didn’t seem anxious like he usually is in new situations. He stopped eating like I mentioned to her, and she went out to get a different wet food for him which he loved! She also got him a small ball at the same time to try a new toy. I have used more expensive pet boarding services in the past, and decided to try rover to save money. Im glad to say the service provided by Christabel was so personable and comforting I was able to relax on my trip knowing my dog was in good hands.
Sonya was amazing with our doggie Kylo. This is Kylo’s first time away from home and familiar faces so he was anxious. Sonya made sure to treat him like her own and kept me up to date on his stay. Moonyoung and Sunhyung took such wonderful care of our dog Nova. From the very begining, they were thoughful, kind and caring. They asked all the right questions and really took the time to understand Nova's needs and personality. They provided daily updates on how Nova was doing along with a few pictures! It was clear they genuienly cared about her and treated her like their own. I highly recommend them and will definitely call on them again to care for our girl!
Our Australian labradoodle, Finn, had a great stay with Manuel. He was well cared for and enjoyed walks, playtime, and snuggles. What a relief. Our 10yr old Guinny has not had overnight boarding/sitting in years. Now that he is visually impaired and diabetic we were extremely nervous to leave him multiple days. Berenice was so attentive and made us feel comfortable from the very start. She maintained his twice-a-day insulin injection schedule and kept him active. At pick up I could immediately tell he felt safe with her as there was no pulling away, no whining, no fuss. We did not enter fully inside the home but still felt it was welcoming and suitable for dog-siiting. We are happy and will definitely book Berenice again.
