This was my first time using Rover's service, and here is my review outlining my disappointment with the care provided by Laura and Daniel for my cat, Skittles, from August 14 to August 18, 2026. The service did not meet expectations due to several serious issues: 1. Feeding Issues: It appeared that very little of the provided dry food was given, and more than half of the wet food was returned to me. I had provided exactly two cans per day for daily feedings, which were left unused. 2. Lack of Communication: The sitters did not initiate any updates. I had to reach out every time, and the responses I received were minimal and limited to a single sentence. 3. Unpreparedness and Environment: During our meet-and-greet on August 9, the environment was chaotic, and Skittles was visibly frightened by the sitters' children and another dog. Although I was assured Skittles would be kept in a separate upstairs room, the sitter was unprepared for our scheduled drop-off on August 14, stating she still needed to clean the room, which prevented me from seeing where my cat would be staying as well as helping to getting him situated. 4. Health and Hygiene Neglect: Upon picking Skittles up on August 18, both he and his carrier had a strong, noticeable odor. We immediately discovered feces inside the carrier and dried feces on his fur. It is unacceptable that he was left in these conditions, posing a major health and safety risk. Leaving an animal in these conditions is entirely unacceptable. Because of these issues, I cannot recommend these sitters, will not book with them again.
Laura and family took great care of Roy over the weekend. He was very happy when we picked him up and it seems like he had a fun and relaxing stay!
We had a positive experience. Snowy is a senior dog, and after boarding with Laura and Daniel for two nights, she came home seeming more energetic.
Laura and Daniel did a great job taking care of Pippi for nearly three weeks. Communication was easy, and everything went smoothly. Highly recommend!
Second time I boarded my cat Ahi with Laura/Daniel and always been happy with their care. They’re also very accommodating and flexible. He is very comfortable with them and always comes home happy!

Schedule
My husband and I both work full time, but rest assure when you leave your pet with us, they will be comfortable during the day and be taken care of morning and night! My hubby usually is home by 3/4pm latest.
